Hello,Danhkoo, I am from China,I have traveled to many places of Malaysia,like KL,Malacca,kucing and spent most of my time in Johor.I also have a friend from penang. I found that most people I met in these places,regardless of their races,no one would speak English as their first language.all the Malay friends I have,they speak Malay as first language.most of Chinese,they speak mandarin. I just know two local tamils who only can speak BM and English,because their parents didn't teach them tamil.but this already made them very difficult to fit in local tamil community.now I am living in KL for the time being.my landlord cannot read Chinese,but that doesn't mean he is English native speaker.Because I know just like most Chinese in Kl,Cantonese is his native language.maybe I already confused you,what I am trying to say is that it would be very inconvenient to live in Malaysia if you don't know Chinese and BM. After watching many videos you uploaded， I was wondering if you can only speak English where I can find guy like you in Kl.
YU FU Hey mate, its quite easy to find people who speak English in KL. It is not uncommon for English to be used as a language in our capital city. I think you have to travel to the correct part of town to see people speaking in English. It is very common for people of many races to use English to talk to each other. If you have any questions, feel free to reply .
YU FU Most people in Subang Jaya and Petaling Jaya have english speak English proficiency like in DanKhoo videos. However english may or may not be our native language but it is widely used in the region I mentioned.
