Under the passenger side carpet/kick panel there is a fuel cutoff switch - they pop all of the time. The other issue is the temerature control located at the front of the motor.
Mine wouldn’t start either and I ended up buying a used pats transceiver on eBay for $40 with free shipping .. My Mazda truck started right up with the EBay pats ...
That happened to me one time all I had to do to get it started with pull up on the shifter And turn the key at the same time then I would start it up no problem
I have a 96 b3000 with an electric issue that I haven't been able to solve for over a year.i washed it and cleaned the engine bay and it stopped running before that it was fine now when I hook up the battery the voltage drops from 12v to about 4v .so there is some type of draw somewhere but I can't find it i have checked everything I can think of and everything reads 12v nothing more mabey someone in the comments has a suggestion?
I’m sorry but I can’t trust any man who says dunkin donuts are “delicious”…..Krispy Kreme or nothing my guy, that’s probably why your truck quit on you….it was so disappointed and let down by you that it decided to let you down. Hope it’s back to running well though all jokes aside.

Even with a bad fuel pump, shouldn’t crank ? Guess I’m not sure how is fuel cutoff related
The fuel pump being switched off won’t stop it from spinning over.

Terminal connectors and/or wire is bad/corroded somewhere more than likely. Same issue with my 4.0. Pretty common problem apparently.

In theft mode the theft light burns constantly. I know first hand.

You prob have a short somewhere...possibly in the fuse box.
Starters go out with no warning sometimes. Hoping to get time together to get my b3000 on the road for the winter season. Did you figure it out yet?
