Swiss Alps to Tingers, skill in cooking, and a Beautiful Smile. This is what makes you Adorably Entertaining and I learn some things! Congratulations and Thank You.
I just had chili con carne for dinner. Is it wrong of me to want to make these potatoes RIGHT NOW! This looks so delicious! Thank you for yet another exquisite potato idea!
Also Poppy we all love you for who you are so please never change! You have a delightful personality! We are who we are so either love it or kiss off! I’m keeping it clean but feel free to change that to suit yourself! 😂
Hi Poppy, wishing you the best of luck with your youtube channel. Of course I subscribed how can you even ask me tthat. I'm 72 years old, been home cooking for the past 60 years. Until recently I would spend an average of 8 hours in the kitchen per day and cook from all over the world. I'm a Yank born to 4th generation Irish on my dad's side and my mom was Puertorican and she came to the US herself, with her grandma. My first introduction to cooking was "The Joy of Cooking" by Irma Rombauer (my mom's cookbook) and Julia Child on TV in the 60s. Being in the NYC burbs I got to eat at many international restaurants (the moderately priced ones) to see what I wanted to cook. This Tartiflette is new to me, I'll have to make some adjustments for my old age dietary restrictions. No red meat so instead some smoked salt and or smoked cheese, Otherwise it's all good. And of course I adore potato dishes. Thanks Poppy I look forward to more content. Jacques Mexico Retired
watching you 'try' to consume the hot potato dish reminded me of the opening scene of Die Blech Trommel (The Tin Drum) 1979, Volker Schloendorff, director. A Kashubai Woman (a Poland indigenous native) is roasting potatoes in an open fire. She fishes one out and eats it. Mouth open to cool it off. Very earthy scene.
Well said. I tend to only watch UA-camrs +including crafters and planty folk) that I'd enjoy having a meal or glass of wine with . Too perfect, too scripted? I watch something else.
I made it tonight. Had no wine, so I skipped that. Delicious!! I made it with beef patty on the side. Very, very fat though - next time I'll try with cheddar instead of brie. Thank you for a great recipe! ❤
Poppy, looks amazingly delicious, I think my arteries have hardened just watching 😂 Your presentation style is perfect, please just carry on being you! ❤
I get raynauds in summer, too! (I actually was in hospital a month or so back (true, that what when we had that cold snap) and I actually got hypothermia whilst an in patient! Raynauds syndrome is when you get icy hands and feet - where your fingers and toes go white (like dead fingers). It can actually be quite painful.
Yeah, im not sure that I should, but im kinda interested in the tingers. My best friend can pick up a medium-sized basketball with his toes. It was wild.
For a healthier option (I know, who wants that??) in my country we make pretty much the same dish except with a savory custard and no cheese. Usually it is baked in the oven though.
Don't tell any French you put cream in the tartiflette and any other chees than Reblochon. It's going to be a similar outrage as for Italians and cream in carbonara. Normaly there is just a bit of white wine.
Cream in tartiflette is fine. Using other cheeses makes it something different, but is also fine (but yeah, maybe don't call it tartiflette). Saying reblochon is a little bit like brie isn't.
Never change Poppy, you are such a dizzy, fantastic breath of fresh air. Love ya girl, keep it up!!! xxxx
Thanks bab 🙏🙏❤️
I used to think Poppy needed a script. but after "tinglers" and then her doubling and tripling down on it. . . its brilliant.
I love her randomness and desire to just be who she is on camera. Singing songs from school, classic!
I love the intro's Poppy, just shows that you're down to earth and not media-trained. Keep being you, love the videoa

I'm dancing contemplating the brie..... ou la la

I love that these videos completely feel like they are made in a single take. No polished multi day affair, just the Queen and her potatoes!
I love tartiflette! Yours looks delicious. Only had it a couple of times in my 60 years! Love your enthusiasm for potatoes!
It's like hanging out with a friend. ❤ Glass of wine after a long week. Golden. Love your videos Poppy!

What a delightful young lady. ❤

I think you’re right - when my boys were teenagers they would come out of their rooms lead by their noses when I was frying off onion and garlic
Poppy, love, you may not be glamorous, but you are definitely a glamour! Love your work. More, please.

Heart attack inducing…. I’m here for it - for the flavour!
As I often say, gotta die of something!

"Hey it's Poppy let's make taters!" *intro music*
What’s taters precious?
I'm going to make this for my friends this Hobbitsgiving.
I love how she burns off her taste buds every video!
Seeing that Garlic @Poppy Cooks, one could say it was a bulbous bulb
For a healthier option (I know, who wants that??) in my country we make pretty much the same dish except with a savory custard and no cheese. Usually it is baked in the oven though.
Love a good tartiflette. Just not too often. God, my arteries complain just thinking about a tartiflette.
Just made lasagna with potatoes instead of pasta and your bechemel sauce what a genius
Don't change a thing.
You're hilarious 😂
Sorted foods Barry could teach you to ski there's a video I'd watch lol

Tingers please.
This girl is mad she makes me laugh and her cooking ain’t bad either.
Poppy is the most beautiful woman in the world.
I'd love to take you skiing, It would be decadent and I would bring crispy bacon as a snack for you on the chair lift. 😉
Lol am I missing something? Does she only cook potatoes?
I’d love love love to see your tingers 😂😂
causally whamming 20 quids worth of brie on some tattys. yes girl
I have no self control 💅
In my humble opinion, more cheese was needed.
I don’t trust that pan handle.
This is like a poutine for aristocrats
Do not, I repeat, do not start scripting your video's!
Olive oil has a neutral flavor? Ok...
Extra virgin hasn't, but refined olive oil has.
I really don't like Drew Barrymore but Poppy is so insanely crushable.
