Like and Sub, if this video helped you out !
I laughed so hard when all of a sudden… “alright I’m underneath the truck now” 😂
😂
My 98 cummins did that last year! This year? Im gonna go look!
Make sure your weatherstriping hasnt slipped down the track. Carefully
slip it back in place and all done on my truck.
Thanks for the tip. What was that hose supposed to fit? So I can ask for same one
I drove mine 60 miles after drying it out and the floorboard was soaked again
You might have something else going on, have you checked to see if you’re heater core is leaking?
I’m having the same issue with my 99 Ram 1500. I’m going to try this and see if it helps. Did your technique fix the issue completely or is it still somewhat damp?
Luckily, It fixed mine completely
@@Hunterrnorris That's good to hear. I'm crossing my fingers and hopefully your luck wears off on me. Thx
@@searey47did it work. ?
@@ariansolano7561 unfortunately it did not work work for me. I added a 5" hose and still got water, then I switched it for a 10" hose and still got water. IDK what else to try
I have a 2020 tradesman classic doing the same thing, but not that bad. It's a small drip from the firewall where the black box is right underneath the glove compartment. I vacuum the drain tube and also blew it with compressed air and i still have the minor leak. Im going to try the hose attachment i hope that works😅
Hopefully it works, it helped my 1998, not sure if it will on a 2020
WhuttdaDuck lol
Man, that was a long time ago 😂
I'm having the same problem, how does adding the extra house fix the problem or what does it do?
With out the hose on it ,it creates a vacuum and won't drain .
I’ve heard on lifted trucks the wind will blow into the engine bay keeping it from draining 🤷♂️
What size lift kit and tires are you running? That’s a beautiful truck
Its a 3" lift with 35s
What size hose was that?
1/2”
An anaconda hose
What type of gas milage do you get with ram 1500. I just got one and it sucks down Gas like cokeocola
Not being funny, with the wind, going down hill…maybe 9 city
@@HunterrnorrisCummins swap that bad boy
Mine would get wet, until i replaced the door weatherstripping. The rain runs down the jamb along the inside of the worn weatherstrip and ends up on the floorboards
I’m glad you replaced the weather stripping, I’ve seen some dodge floor pan rust out from water just sitting under the carpet
I just noticed my passenger floorboard had about an inch of water under the carpet after a big rain but my weather stripping looks fine and I'm not sure where the water would be coming from. It feels like the carpet was wet towards under the dash so I figured that's where it must have came from but my little hose like the one in the video wasn't stopped up so I don't have a clue what to do
Mine only leaks after it rains, nothing when the AC is on.
You might have a broken seal somewhere. I’d sit in the truck and have someone spray water over it and sees where the water is coming in
I have the same problem
What size hose
1/2"
couldn't see anything,do you know what a flashlight is?
Which part are you having trouble seeing?
Mine is doing it on the driver side too wht you think it could be
I've heard that if your 3rd brake light gasket goes bad, that it can leak and run into your driver floorboard. If thats not it, id make sure your grommet in the fire wall that has your wiring harness running through it, is their. Besides that, im not to sure. Their might be a forum on it
What size hose is that?
1/2” Heater hose
Another video said it's the windshield mounting bracket, and when it rains it feeds into they broken seal, and the water goes ok into the fresh air intake and gets into ok the cab.
What size hose
1/2"
