Mike you’ve come a long way. I remember when I saw your channel in an online newspaper ad and I went to your channel and subscribed. You had under 40,000 subscribers. For sure one of your skills is the ability to grow your channel this big in only a couple years. Love from Vancouver
idk about you guys, but when i was in 7th/8th grade we learned about setting goals. We talked about how they help you be determined and dedicated to your cause. This channel is a perfect example of this and I love you so much for dedicating your time to such quality videos and fulfill your promise.
She was so impressed and excited about her first time doing it correctly and she went and hugged her husband and that itself was the most heartwarming thing ever.
i started flipping about 5 years ago so i know a lot about butterfly knives, i got 2 pretty old flipping videos on this channel that i uploaded recently that you can check out
I'm currently in the dip, been there for 10 years since I half assed tried to learn to juggle. I try every time I can get my hands on 3 correctly sized balls, but one of two things happends, I start trowing them forward so I have to run forward after them, or the balls hit mid air... I should maybe invest a couple hours to learn the rest someday..
Renax the Man That is exactly what happened for me. For a few hours over the course of a few days is how much time it took me. I always kept throwing them forward. But now I can juggle and have gotten a few minutes of continuous juggling! Don’t give up! It’s a very cool thing to show my friends and family.
I’ve seen you do a card spring, and also throw cards, but try to learn an actual magic thing, there’s a famous trick called the ambitious card, a famous routine which varies from person to person, containing several mini magic tricks with a card. The milestone being having the ability to perform it well to a spectator without mistakes. Various tutorials are available online, but given how you usually do it, I would say by a book would be more impressive.
Oh yeah I don't understand why mike said that when the balls hit it's all over, I juggle myself (I learned after his first video on it) and I tend to catch the balls after they collide all the time, it gets really crazy sometimes.
As a juggler myself, when balls bounce off one another, it gets really frustrating. Using juggling bags would reduce the risk. I have been juggling for four years, ever since 4th grade and I don’t really can the level Mike is at “mastery”
Dear mike: I just want to say thank you, thank you to push me to do something productive, yesterday I learned how to solve a 3x3x3 rubik's cube blindfolded (i already know how to solve it seeing it and i average around 19 seconds), last week I felt a bit bad because my dad and I had a really bad situation because he destroyed my mobile phone (im writing this through my computer) and then i went to sleep thinking about what had I done wrong, I know that Im a really lazy person and I want to change. This videos show me how frustrating things can be, but I have learned a lot from you. Thanks.
just watching this amazing guy learning new fascinating skills encouraged me to learn how to dice stack, do a kickflip, solve a 3x3x3 rubiks cube (not blindfolded lol), draw dotted lines on a chalkboard, and even attempt a backflip (like him, I didn't make it that far). Without these videos, I wouldn't have learned any of these skills and would have missed so many great opportunities. Thanks Mike.
Lmao, every day here will probably be writing, long insparational paragraphs, like 1 person already has, but I’m too lazy, so I’m just going o say *hi*
The tabled faro shuffle, riffle stacking, and the center deal are considered the most difficult sleights to master with a deck of cards. These sleights are used by only the most skilled of magicians and card mechanics after years of practice. I challenge you to learn one of them and make a video on it. I think that your end goal should be to sit at a card table with people who know that you are going to cheat, and fool them. (P.S. you will need to learn how to shuffle on a table first for all of these. Also don't overlook crimps, they are incredibly deceptive and useful with retaining the deck order. A good place to start would be on Theory 11 or the cheat by Richard Turner.)
@Chapelle98 Im not, but I watch quite a lot of magic-related videos. Im a big fan of Chris Ramsay per example. I respect magicians and card mechanics a lot, it requires a lot of perseverance and dexterity
@@juszak5435 it is dealing cards the selected cards from the center of the deck after the deck has been cut. A cheat usually controls the cards they want for a hand to the bottom of the deck to deal either to themselves or an acomplace, while also dealing fairly to the other players. However, many games will cut the deck after the initial shuffle which displaces these cards. Most cheats will do what is nullifying the cut by means of shifting the selected cards to the bottom of the deck, holding out cards in their hand during the cut, or reversing the cut with what is called a pass. However, these moves can be very risky as with a pass a large packet of cards moves around the other quickly which can easily flash to other players at the table, and holding out cards can sometimes have angle issues as well and the hands are referred to as dirty meaning they have cards and don't look quite as normal or relaxed as usual, also the movements of the hand are quite reduced such as the cheat can not raise that hand for a waiter. The center deal was created to reduce the risk of nullifying the cut by just dealing what were once the bottom cards from the middle of the deck as if it were the bottom but still appearing to come from the top of the deck fairly.
Awesome! This is encouraging my wife bought me a starting set, I am learning and all those things are happening to me, when I am done learning I will put her trough the same torture I am going trough. It is kind of fun!
I think your a fast learner because you somehow learned to kickflip and heelflip in less than a day. Took me a week and most people cantf even do it after a month of trying. You might now realize it but at the rate you learned many skaters would want to quit skating. It's that rediculous lol
He's a fast learner because he learns a wide variety of things. He likeley has higher neuroplasticity than most becauae of that, and therefore he can pick up things more quickly. As you get older and don't learn many new things, and only practice old things (because you get in to a cycle with school and then work) your neuroplasticity decreases. Thats why it become harder to learn new things and why children pick thing ups rather quickly.
@@jonathanzeuthen3178 while yes you can pass balls, it's surprisingly hard and club passing is much more expansive with way more tricks. I've been juggling sense I was 12 and club passing is by far superior.

Was Kim wearing a Teddy Fresh beanie?! You guys totally need to be on the H3 podcast!
WhyteDem0n I’m not sure I can’t really see it but it also looks to be very similar to a Lyle and Scott beanie. Lyle and Scott is a popular Scottish clothing brand

Mike you’ve come a long way. I remember when I saw your channel in an online newspaper ad and I went to your channel and subscribed. You had under 40,000 subscribers. For sure one of your skills is the ability to grow your channel this big in only a couple years. Love from Vancouver
I agree
From vancity as well!
Her reaction at the end was priceless!!!
idk about you guys, but when i was in 7th/8th grade we learned about setting goals. We talked about how they help you be determined and dedicated to your cause. This channel is a perfect example of this and I love you so much for dedicating your time to such quality videos and fulfill your promise.
She was so impressed and excited about her first time doing it correctly and she went and hugged her husband and that itself was the most heartwarming thing ever.
i was wondering why there weren't any comments on this :)

I learned to juggle about two months ago and I remember going through these exact stages!
Can you learn a language you could do a series maybe?
That's not very entertaining, especially not for a series

Who thinks Kim should go through and learn everything Mike has?
They would be riding unicycles while juggling like that couple that do everything together.
It would be fun just to watch her do different things.
Yes! I was just thinking this!
And then, they should test another couple
Meee
Bruh she got so excited that warmed my heart 😂✨
Very nice video to see someone else doing These things cause people probably think you are a super hero by learning so fast.

One of my favorite videos on the channel this far! It's incredible to see how your progress- and frustration of learning this skill are so much alike!

This video inspired me to juggle, and now I can! Thank you for being so inspirational.
Ok, you have a big following. So get everyone to see how long it takes them to learn how to do something you've done for a massive control group.
I feel like I would throw the entire average off by several days if I took part in that, lol.
But then again, who knows...
Self reporting bias though - I imagine that people might not report accurately or faithfully their time. Cause, yknow, fake internet points.

So everybody is going to ignore the fact that she caught the ball decently at 4:03 ?!?
Oh yeah I don't understand why mike said that when the balls hit it's all over, I juggle myself (I learned after his first video on it) and I tend to catch the balls after they collide all the time, it gets really crazy sometimes.
Adams Oppong well he didn’t say impossible. Plus I believe he met catching and continuing to juggle properly.
As a juggler myself, when balls bounce off one another, it gets really frustrating. Using juggling bags would reduce the risk. I have been juggling for four years, ever since 4th grade and I don’t really can the level Mike is at “mastery”
@@GoodGuySen Yeah, I continue to juggle whenever it happens too. Not very hard if you juggle for a while

Learning is a skill that can be learned in and of itself!
Dear mike:
I just want to say thank you, thank you to push me to do something productive, yesterday I learned how to solve a 3x3x3 rubik's cube blindfolded (i already know how to solve it seeing it and i average around 19 seconds), last week I felt a bit bad because my dad and I had a really bad situation because he destroyed my mobile phone (im writing this through my computer) and then i went to sleep thinking about what had I done wrong, I know that Im a really lazy person and I want to change.
AlbertusuGD ok, I can solve a normal 3x3 when I can see it, my average is around 35 seconds. How do you even solve it blind?

The tabled faro shuffle, riffle stacking, and the center deal are considered the most difficult sleights to master with a deck of cards. These sleights are used by only the most skilled of magicians and card mechanics after years of practice. I challenge you to learn one of them and make a video on it. I think that your end goal should be to sit at a card table with people who know that you are going to cheat, and fool them.
(P.S. you will need to learn how to shuffle on a table first for all of these. Also don't overlook crimps, they are incredibly deceptive and useful with retaining the deck order. A good place to start would be on Theory 11 or the cheat by Richard Turner.)
richard turner is incredible. probably the most impressive and inspiring card mechanic on earth
@@marc-olivierouellet2338 you bet your ass he is.
@Chapelle98 Im not, but I watch quite a lot of magic-related videos. Im a big fan of Chris Ramsay per example. I respect magicians and card mechanics a lot, it requires a lot of perseverance and dexterity
Center deal? Is that a simple deal type move or some sort of cut?
@@wittiko2607 So if i act like a child do i learn faster?

Bt8b can be easy to learn as well, try the tmack loop, it looks good and is still easy, but slightly harder them bt8b.
pastor 8 ball is still hard trick for beginner bro it would be fine to learn it it would take some time to do
True, yet I think the tmack loop would be better, because it shows actual skill and not luck as bt8b could. It's really the same difficulty, just takes more time.
