    This week, Kim learns to spin a basketball on her finger. She is attempting to beat my time for being able to spin the ball for 30 seconds (4 hours 39 mins to learn). Let's see how she got on!

    It would be really interesting for Kim to pick a skill she is interested in and for her to learn it and then see if Mike can beat her time. Being the one who chooses what to learn might give one an advantage.

    I love these videos with Kim! They are so motivational for me, an average girl with no skills. I pushed myself to learn how to juggle after watching your video with Kim and now I can do it really well! I am going to try to spin a basketball now! Also Kim’s reactions to the learning process are super cute to watch. ☺️

      go girl! stupid society seems to put down females as if they can't learn things well. determination is the key thing it seems. although physical limitations may inhibit progress, think about this, what is better? a bear that sleeps all day or a werewolf that works the whole day? amirite??

    Learn how to speed typing. Goal is to pass 90 words per minute! It is fun and challanging.

      @@arjundureja I’m the same as you, average 120... I definitely agree that 100 can be achieved by anyone, but it definitely isn’t an easy thing to do for a lot of people. 90 s reasonable for sure. That’s VERY doable for just about anyone with someone practice.

    I decided to pick up this skill after watching this video on May 9, 2021. My goal was the same as Mike which is 30 seconds straight. After 10 days of practice on May 19, 2021 I spun the basketball for 32.22 continuous seconds without stoping. Thanks for inspiring me 🙂🤗!! I'm great full I watched this video.

    I was taught by a Harlem Globe Trotter in grad 4 how to spin the ball. I went home that day and had it dialed in an hour. He had a really tip on how to do it. Don't hit the ball away from yourself but toward yourself to generate a lateral momentum

    Around 14 years ago i did pen spinning and it would always mind-boggle me how i'd plateau so quickly in one session but after taking a break you would easily reach the next goal

    Kim, Thank you for being so vulnerable in a video! I've done a few of the skills Mike has already done and it almost always takes longer, and seems WAY more frustrating. This is so reassuring and helpful for my confidence! You seem so nice, but getting hit in the face over and over will make anyone a bit angry :) Thank you for helping all of us feel more capable and making us realize that the frustration is part of it, not a detriment to it.     Hey mike, I know this is a relatively old video but I had a pretty good idea for a video for you, I would recommend combining your skill of hopping on a trials bike and going up stairs to hop on your back wheel up one set of stairs. This I think is really entertaining and I would think quite a challenge, but you’re genuinely one of the most well rounded smart people on UA-cam so I think you got this! Needless to say I love your channel man! Keep up the cool work!
    ( I do sincerely apologize for putting this on more than one video but I was determined for you to see it as I think it’s a pretty cool challenge) Have fun if you decide to do it!

    Taking a break when you reach a plateau has little to do with lowering frustration, but more with letting the brain learn in peace from its experience. Just like how muscles grow when you rest. Trust me, I read a book about the brain once.

    Amazing work Kim! I made a video recently during lockdown doing the same thing - learning to spin a basketball on my finger from scratch. I managed it in around 2 hours 30 minutes total, somehow!

    Please learn how to flip butterfly knives you dont have to get a real one you can get one with out a sharp edge I just think it would be a great video.

    Hey Mike, I have a challenge to see how quick you can learn! In magic, there's things called a "stacked deck" or "mem-deck." Magicians can use these to help with incredible tricks along with sleight of hand. I'd like to see how quick you can memorize a deck of cards in either "Mnemonica stack" or "Aronson stack." Would love to see if you could remember what cards go to numbers and vice-versa! Good Luck!
