Love the body style of the late 70's early 80's Chevy Pickup Trucks, the best looking rigs Chevy ever built. If that Chevy was equipped with a Atlas 4 speed transfer case, he could've just used the front axle to get past the tree.
@dkhill27 They're the 16/35 - 16.5LT Super Swamper Boggers (Product code: B-106) The tires themselves are about as worn down as you get without hitting the plies... I've been shooting around the idea of either going with a 38" TSL or 35" ground hawgs which would reduce the width by about an inch or so which I'm not too keen on.. The reason I'm not staying with the bogger is because of it's pavement characteristics. I do DD this truck so I need something that wears better on the road haha
Nice yeah I just moved up to a set of 35 bfg km2 for my truck I had 31s on there. I lifted it 4 inches and those 31s looked way to small lol. I want to do a body lift next 3 inches so I can fit 38s under there. So far those km2 that I have have been awesome. It has been my daily driver this winter and I have took them thru some mud and they suprised me. Went quite aways just in 2wd both in snow and mud. Hwy driving is good also slight growl to them but I like it.
Watchin someone do the same thing over and over… back up, pull forward in same ruts, back up, pull forward in same ruts…. 🤦🏻♂️. Love the truck. Squarebody fan.
I know it's been said a thousand times, but the truck just needed some gas around the tree. if it shoots some mud up, then good. lock the dif, put 4wd on and floor it. it has plenty of power and tires. that truck can go through a lot worse. after all, part of the fun is turning the paint to mud. lol
That's what happens when you try to follow a Jeep, Rut Roe! I have both, an 1985 Chevy 4 wd ,1 ton front and rear, with Detroit lockers, in each end, 700R4 trans, 435 HP 427 engine with a crane Fireball cam. The other is a Jeep TJ Rubicon w/ 6" lift, 35" mudders. That Chevy wont hold a light to that jeep, and I live in Florida where we really have mud and clay!
Sweet fuckin truck but ffs change your u joints bud!!! annyone that can't here that ping! ping!! ping!! every shift needs a hearing aid ffs!! lol but she's sweet all the same I have a twin to her!!

+TechCrazy365 truth to that
Thank you, I don't know too much about this stuff, but I have learned a few things where I grew up. lol
Hah.. I know a LOT... I built my truck to not need constant skinny pedal... lifted/locked and built to not need to be abused...
