Man I’m about to trade my mustang for a 90 Z71 Stepside…I’ve always wanted one of these trucks. Normally I go for 80s Yotas but never tried a chev before :)
I've been mudding for decades but gotta say scared to death to run my newer 2017 through any type of water!!! Lol. With all the electronics im sure it would be an issue. Nothing like the old school 💯🔥🇺🇲
To be honest I've never been a chevy/gmc guy (nothing against them) but seeing these old trucks tear it up offroad brings warm feelings to my heart. Hey guys I don't have a vehicle and I live in Texas, yall have great content and if you want to help a brother out I love trucks and would be honored to have one of these old beast please!
I'll tell you what man!! They don't make em like that anymore that is for sure 😂!! I love the old chevy trucks with 4x4!! Silverado and gmc , I don't know much about the 5.3 liter but the 6.0 and the 5.7 were absolutely perfect for these days. Best engines made for a long time 😂
They break. The design isn't strong enough. Have alot of problems people do with the spider gears breaking and the pins the lock it up. Lots of videos about them on UA-cam and we been haven't trouble with them js
@@bradleymadosh3596 I have a 09 Chevrolet Colorado Extended Cab 4WD with the g80 and truck has 188k miles on it. I don't abuse it like most people do like massive burnouts and it still works fine. It's how you use it like it should be used. It's a low speed traction device.
It would be an upgrade over what it's got for sure. Nothing. I haven't had problems with the g80 lockers in the 90s model trucks. I ran 36" tires or 35s in the silver truck you see in some of my videos. On A 3.42 g80 10 bolt
I knew watching the full video that it would make me late for work. So I watched the whole thing anyway 100% worth it !! 😁
Haha mint thanks buddy more to come
Damn. I’ve got three mint OBS Chevy pickups, I’d never even think about doing this shit to any of them. You guys have me looking for a beater OBS now.
