When you play woodwind the hardest part is to keep your breath steady. Like walking while playing is hard to keep the notes on the key. And they dances and played without interruptingthe music. It's like so impossible but they made it

I can´t stop watching the Tachibana band perform. Every time I watch I feel an attachment to them as if I am a proud grandfather to each and every member of this fantastic organization.

I thought I watched over 200 hours of this band now!! How addicted it is!! I am a trombone player. Under this hot day, standing still and playing 10 mins is already enough!! I don't know how they play and dance through this 30 minutes!!! They are so talented!! Of course there are some notes off, but it does not matter anymore~~ Thank you!!

She played through the morning with that grazed knee until one of the guardians took her off the troupe for treatment. If you watch the afternoon session she was still intent on being part of the group, and in true KT fashion, the injured or resting band members get to follow the band, but not participate in the insane choreography. The new 1st years also just clap and follow along to soak in the experience. They get to perform this parade in uniform the next year when they become the 2nd year senpai. Must have been devastating for them to have this event cancelled in 2020, though. It does seem like 2021 might be a tentative "yes", let's just hope for the best.

I doubt they'd ever drop it. It's their signature song. It was "Sing, Sing, Sing" that started them with the active choreography back in 2005, as one of their then--members saw a TV show called "Burn the Floor where they danced to it, and suggested they try it as a marching style. They still use some of the moves from the show, especially in the CG when they dance to it. Some middle school students try to go to the school just to join the wind music club to get to play it. ..Joe
Patrick Chesbro, In the regular concert at the end of 2018, the perfect copy of original "Burn the Floor" was played by #115. The costumes were also prepared by the #115 each members to look like the original. I supposed that this meant that #115 wanted to keep this song "Sing Sing Sing" the heart of Kyoto Tachibana S.H.S. band. 2018年の定期演奏会ではオリジナルの "Burn the Floor"の完全なコピーが115期によって演奏されたそうです。衣装までもオリジナルのように見えるよう各メンバーが用意しました。これは「Sing Sing Sing」が京都橘の心として継続されるように115期が望んでいたことの現れだと思います。

There was an interview with 6 of the alumnae who went with the composite Green Band this past Rose Parade. half had been sidelined with injuries, during their first or second year. 1 torn meniscus (knee surgery) 1 broken ankle) and 1 shin splints (force to sit out for two weeks to keep from developing on to stress fracture) I would bet that some of them actually get inflamed bone spurs. They work as many hours a week as an SEC player, but without schlarships, training table, or off season. It is a very serious voluntary commitment, which why Tachibana may have imitators, but few serious challengers in this style. I like Tachibana, but I also like traditional military bands. If you are not going to make the commitment, stick with old style and do it well rather than be an embarassment. On the plus side, an employer who sees Tachibana band on a resume should hire and figure out what to do with him or her later.
At 19: 16 she is ok. At 19:31 you can see a pot hole just in front of the cymbal player next to the bass drum. There also seem to be some lesser surface defects in the next few meters. At about 20:50 you can see she is bleeding.

私がブルーメのパレードが特に好きな理由の一つは新入生が一緒にパレードするからです。
一般的に音楽などのアート系の生徒はシャイな子が多いのですがここで先輩達と観衆の触れ合いを見ることで音楽の素晴らしさを確信し、人前で自分を表現する度胸も学べます。彼等はまだ楽器を持っていないのでもっと積極的に観客（特に子供達）と触れ合うように指導されても良いと思います。彼等自身が橘に憧れた日のことを再確認できるでしょう。
それらは厳しい練習に耐えるモチベーションになるはずです。

At this Parade Event the Band does a morning trek & an afternoon trek. Respect. They are so powerful.

They are a Fun Group.
I find that whoever plays the agogo bells have the greatest time marching. The central instrument in any samba in my opinion.
Such good musicians, I hope they carry on playing and become top professionals.
After high school, the majority of them never touch an instrument again. This is just an after-school club for them.

The name of the "little piano" is the Glockenspiel.

映像では広く見えますが、道幅についてもかなり狭くて、4列隊列で演奏して歩くだけでも大変だと思いますが、飛んだり跳ねたり回転技などのパフォーマンスを難なくこなしてしまうオレンジの悪魔さん達は凄いですね😍

僕も脳出血による左足左腕麻痺(左足骨折)で左足に装具を装着しないと歩きにくいというのもあって大変です😖💦

There was an interview with 6 of the alumnae who went with the composite Green Band this past Rose Parade. half had been sidelined with injuries, during their first or second year. 1 torn meniscus (knee surgery) 1 broken ankle) and 1 shin splints (force to sit out for two weeks to keep from developing on to stress fracture) I would bet that some of them actually get inflamed bone spurs. They work as many hours a week as an SEC player, but without schlarships, training table, or off season. It is a very serious voluntary commitment, which why Tachibana may have imitators, but few serious challengers in this style. I like Tachibana, but I also like traditional military bands. If you are not going to make the commitment, stick with old style and do it well rather than be an embarassment.
On the plus side, an employer who sees Tachibana band on a resume should hire and figure out what to do with him or her later.
At 19: 16 she is ok. At 19:31 you can see a pot hole just in front of the cymbal player next to the bass drum. There also seem to be some lesser surface defects in the next few meters. At about 20:50 you can see she is bleeding.
