I'll be honest, as refreshingly simple and fun as this movie is, a spinoff about Furiosa should have come out a DECADE ago. This is the definition of striking while the iron is ICE COLD.
@misaelbarrientos4922 He's not far off, moron. Furiosa should have come out no more than 2 or 3 years after Fury Road, so around 2018 at the latest. It came out 6 - 7 years too late at the least.
I never once considered why Furiosa had a mechanical arm in Fury Road. What's to wonder about? Look at the world she inhabits. You're lucky to be alive!
I really kind of wish she made it through the whole movie without losing it and just left it ambiguous how it happened. They kept putting her in situations it could happen and then it didn't I was honestly disappointed when she finally lost it
The only film truly about Max in the franchise is just the first one, and he is otherwise just an outsider in someone else's story trying to benefit from it before he finds a better reason to be more firmly involved in all the sequels.
3:07 the tent flap is sabotaged by Mary so the guy goes outside and she can kill him. Literally happens moments before this part but you somehow missed it
0:58 that whistle gets a sin for every dog owner that is now saying “really? Seriously? I JUST got the baby to lay down”. 😂. Like, the ONE thing, had to be a whistle huh?
this movie was a fucking treasure and a half to see in IMAX, Makes up for completely missing out on 'Fury Road' when that first dropped. Hemsworth delivered a performance of what I assume was just the average Aussie HURRY AND SIN EIGHT LEGGED FREAKS!!!!!
Clever af yall!!! At 11:10 i thought the same thing about her arms 😂 and then how the freeze frames make you think "whats comin we cant see" fake outs lol
I think the biggest mistake this movie made was coming out almost a decade after Fury Road's hype had all but dried up. Imagine how much more buzz this film would have gotten if it was released in 2017 or even 2019.
I don't think that's COMPLETELY true. People do still talk well of Fury Road even today, but at the same time, I do agree it would have benefited from coming out earlier.
Yeah, if it came out a couple years or so after Fury Road, I would've gone out and seen it, but in a post-COVID world (where one of the casualties was the nearest theater at the mall that was a 15 minute walk to get to) a movie really needs to convince me to go out and see it (since the other theater I go to is about a 30-minute drive).
That was the original plan from the Fury Road script. But you can see in the movie they tried to put her in the wife room when she was a kid and she had to escape herself. Jeremy was specifically asking about the second time when she goes by Furiosa instead of Little Dementus. So it’s probably not true that she couldn’t give birth only the second time.
"Why is she scrawny?" Genetics. It's genetics. Women tend to have slighter bone structure than men and that is probably the biggest influence on how much muscle someone can build. The only way women can build serious "show muscles" is via chemical enhancement and I doubt they're making steroids to give out to their workers in the Citadel. Granted she may have been a little more cut up and muscular than we see in the film but she'd never be jacked.
0:11 - One sin to you for missing the opportunity to point out that the word "apocalypse" itself literally means "revelation," and has nothing to do with end-of-the-world devastation.
The biggest sin this movie commits is the recasting of adult Furiosa when that part of the story doesn't take place too long before Fury Road to justify it. Even if Charlize Theron isn't available they can put off filming her scenes until she is, this replacement actress just doesn't cut it.
It's Mad Max Saga for the obvious reason that they never established any other name in that specific post apocalyptic series. His name is the only constant.
You missed the part where Furiosa could not have worked the clutch on her escape motorcycle with only one arm, causing the bike to stall out when she tried to shift it into gear to escape.
I loved this movie but the constant stopping to see how far something was in front or behind drove me nuts. JUST KEEP DRIVING. If Furiosa kept running after her mother was found like she was told to, she would have been fine.
Enjoyed the film, but it somehow takes away some of Furiosa's motivation in fury road. In fury road she says immortan joe took away everything from her. In this movie we learn that's not really true. Not that she needed more motivation to kill a rapist tyrant, but just something i noticed
Alas, you may have been a box office failure, but you will always have a strong place in my heart and end of year list, Furiosa. Also, really enjoy for as much as this is made to be a prequel for Furiosa, it also serves as both a showcase for more understanding of the land set up in "Fury Road", the makings of the War Rig, seeing Joe back when he was still a bit levelheaded and even seeing the idea of the wives who, even those who WANT to stay, if they don't met the healthy baby condition within 3 times, they get put to the milkers. It's actually more enjoyable to see how the film livens up the world than it is as a prequel to Furiosa herself.
There’s something about Anya Taylor-Joys face that gives me the creeps… I don’t know what it is. Nothing against her she just has an Indy horror game, jump scare demon vibe… Just me ?!
This probably one of the most disappointing movies I’ve seen so far this year, acting could have been way better Day 31 of waiting for CinemaSins to react to both VeggieTales movies
Please ding the title. Please ding the title.....please ding the title. Mad Max, Max Rockatanski does not appeal in this movie, for even one single second. But his name is still on the movie. If you ever want a super obvious rule of working in a franchise, that absolutely MUST be spelled out, in giant glowing letters for idiots. If you are working on a franchise? You have to include the character the franchise is named after, when you use their name in the title. It has to be spelled out for them and they think we are stupid.
Saw the movie in theaters and felt kind of let down that it didnt have the same presence as Fury Road. But watched it again a couple of months ago and yeah it isnt Fury Road but the movie stands alone as an excellent piece of cinema. This movie should have released first that would be my only true gripe now.
Wasn't Scrutus Nux's lancer in Fury Road? I mean not in universe but that has to be the same actor. Also, we already got a Furiosa film. It's called Fury Road. I myself was quite furious the first time I saw it because I wanted to see a Mad Max film and it wasn't. The second time I saw it I decided to take it on it's own merits and I really enjoyed it. It is a very good film with fantastic lore and world building. It's not a Mad Max movie though. This movie is pretty good too but I don't understand why they went with a Furiosa origin story. Something like that is for books or video games. She's not Darth Vader. The character isn't compelling enough to warrant such a film and I think that's why it bombed. It's Fury Road just smaller.
There is to much furiosa slander in the comments. (Mr sin I understand it is your job) This movie is amazing. Not as good action as fury road but still close. But it is in my opinion a better movie than fury road. It also came out after a decade because of how hard it is to make a mad max movie. It took over 20 years for fury road to come out. Also this movie is not fury road. People should not have expected fury road. It is a different and better movie.
Fury road was the best action movie since The Matrix but Furiosa was crap. Biggest disappointment in the theater for me in recent memory. Hell, even JOKER 2 had more redeeming qualities when you know what was going on between the director and the studio.
My soul died when I saw this title and I groaned like there were brussel sprouts on my plate. You could have had at least sinned The Blob 58' so I could watch your mum for 20 minutes.
I'll be honest, as refreshingly simple and fun as this movie is, a spinoff about Furiosa should have come out a DECADE ago. This is the definition of striking while the iron is ICE COLD.
Fury Road came out in 2015 lol
@misaelbarrientos4922 He's not far off, moron. Furiosa should have come out no more than 2 or 3 years after Fury Road, so around 2018 at the latest. It came out 6 - 7 years too late at the least.

@@hilburn- what does this even mean
Furiosa a.k.a. the movie where Chris Hemsworth gets to speak his natural Aussie accent on-screen as much as he likes.
I don't care what anybody says: This movie did not deserve to get beat out by the Garfield Movie at the box office.
Doesn't anyone remember the last Mad Max movie was basically a Furiosa movie anyway.
With better special effects
The only film truly about Max in the franchise is just the first one, and he is otherwise just an outsider in someone else's story trying to benefit from it before he finds a better reason to be more firmly involved in all the sequels.
Yes. That's why I didn't like it.
We’re still getting this tired-ass argument in 2024?
all i remember is a 2hr car chase and a flame guitar
3:07 the tent flap is sabotaged by Mary so the guy goes outside and she can kill him. Literally happens moments before this part but you somehow missed it
0:58 that whistle gets a sin for every dog owner that is now saying “really? Seriously? I JUST got the baby to lay down”. 😂. Like, the ONE thing, had to be a whistle huh?
The war rig is incredible in this movie
0:40 😂 that’s hilarious. Does the movie really start that way? A guy delivering exposition then disappearing into a green screen lol
I really liked this movie
this movie was a fucking treasure and a half to see in IMAX, Makes up for completely missing out on 'Fury Road' when that first dropped. Hemsworth delivered a performance of what I assume was just the average Aussie
HURRY AND SIN EIGHT LEGGED FREAKS!!!!!
I love watching this in high school with nothing better to do
I honestly thought Dementus was going to become Immorton Joe for some reason.
Still my favorite series
i am also curious why the PeopleEater has a gas mask on his dangledinglebits 😆
Clever af yall!!! At 11:10 i thought the same thing about her arms 😂 and then how the freeze frames make you think "whats comin we cant see" fake outs lol
Furiosa enjoys a very enthusiastic walk and asked her enemies how's their health plan.
Apparently it was great.
I think the biggest mistake this movie made was coming out almost a decade after Fury Road's hype had all but dried up. Imagine how much more buzz this film would have gotten if it was released in 2017 or even 2019.

I fucking loved this movie. It's a masterpiece. George Miller is invincible. Remove all sins!
Each time you post, it's a treat!
I read somewhere that the reason Furiosa didn’t become one of Immortan Joe’s wives is because she couldn’t give birth.
But how long do they give a woman to give birth before they either kill them or let them do something else?
9:00 Is that Wade Wilson in the back?
17:00 the bike horns part 😂
Where's Bluey? HISHE promised there would be Bluey!
"Why is she scrawny?" Genetics. It's genetics. Women tend to have slighter bone structure than men and that is probably the biggest influence on how much muscle someone can build. "I bet he knows what baby tastes like"
I understood that reference!
I loved this movie, despite the special effects
Furiosa roll credits!
0:11 - One sin to you for missing the opportunity to point out that the word "apocalypse" itself literally means "revelation," and has nothing to do with end-of-the-world devastation.
I always enjoy movies people seem to dislike. So thankfully you guys can do the criticizing for me.
I just watched this, timing is immaculate
Hollywood needs people like George Miller more than ever
I’m pretty sure there was no unreleased footage in the ending credits… unless you count them getting from the wives’ room to the car.
I had a lot of fun with this one in the cinema
She did so good. She definitely carried our guy Chris lol
A movie that did not deserve its underperformance.
The biggest sin this movie commits is the recasting of adult Furiosa when that part of the story doesn't take place too long before Fury Road to justify it. Even if Charlize Theron isn't available they can put off filming her scenes until she is, this replacement actress just doesn't cut it.
Furiosa was incredible. so sad it was a flop. Its only real flaw is not being fury road
17:50 I want to know how she is shifting that bike when she has no hand to pull in the clutch.

😂😂😂 Where's Taintus? Well played sir, well played. 😂😂
16:00 You dont shoot the camera man
Great visuals but at the middle I was lost in plot. its like we forgot her origin place
Sin: this film exists when everyone wanted a sequel with Max, not a pointless prequel
It would have had to be Mad Maxine. Strong male leads are not permitted in modern cinema.
@brolohalflemming7042 At least we have John Wick
Do Total Recall
Enjoyed the film, but it somehow takes away some of Furiosa's motivation in fury road. In fury road she says immortan joe took away everything from her. In this movie we learn that's not really true. Not that she needed more motivation to kill a rapist tyrant, but just something i noticed
It's a good day for a.... forever purge!
Please sin the 2017 and 2021 My Little Pony movies
Not much, Max Scene thats a Sin
Unreleased footage? It was the entire movie of Fury Road.
Furoisa is the villan in both the movies she's in.
Their first and biggest mistake was not using practical effects
Alas, you may have been a box office failure, but you will always have a strong place in my heart and end of year list, Furiosa. Ay! Finally an hour gang. 😂😂😂
You are awesome 😎
2:54 She just used a thumper the sandworm(s) did the rest.
20:46 The nipples thing was more than 45 days, his nipples were ripped off when furosa was given to immortal Joe, but it's been time since then.
15:39 Why is Furiosa driving on the left hand side of the car?
What is it about this franchise that its latest entries are considered great but they don't do well in the box office
Some movies seem to flop because people expect too much of them...
This is another King Kong situation where you all are hating on a movie that's better than it has any right to be
The movie was pretty good but when can we expect a Mad Max sequel?
Roll Sagits!
There’s something about Anya Taylor-Joys face that gives me the creeps… I don’t know what it is. Nothing against her she just has an Indy horror game, jump scare demon vibe… Just me ?!
The sixth day please.
The 6th day.
Armazon!!! Hahaha!!!
WITNESS ME!
Please do speak no evil
"Taintus"
1-1 million
The entire movie
Skip I'm dead 🤣
This was a great movie. I saw it twice. Sucks it flopped.
This video was posted 2 minutes ago and it already has more views than me!
Why tho
Dumb, nuke inbound
nah
This probably one of the most disappointing movies I’ve seen so far this year, acting could have been way better
Day 31 of waiting for CinemaSins to react to both VeggieTales movies
Obvious hater is obvious
@ 🤷♂️
Ooooo do the democratic campaign or MSNBC 😂😂😂
Remove your Wish video.

Glad I didn’t go to the theater for this
You missed out. Best theatre experience of 2024 except maybe Monkey Man.
OMG! Who. The hell! Cares? lol
So many parts where bro made a statement without clearly paying attention to the whole scene 💀
There is to much furiosa slander in the comments. (Mr sin I understand it is your job) This movie is amazing. Not as good action as fury road but still close. What a crappy movie! It's hard to believe someone spent $168 million on this.
Better than the first one
This movie looks boring. Glad I missed it.
Another wrecked franchise
Femnoid propaganda
compared to mad max road fury, this movie was such a bore and a slog to finish. would not watch again ever. road fury was straight fire though.
No Mad Max was the problem. Hemsworth was good though!
2 minutes into a video and I can already say this movie is a peace of crap.
P.s Just finished the video and yes... THIS MOVIE IS A COMPLETE GARBAGE
This movie sucked...
woke bait and switch saga ppppffffttttt!!! 😠😡
