Even if he went in without being powered up I wouldn't have felt any tension in the confrontation at all. Godzilla is King of the Monsters now, the alpha of all kaiju. The only ones Godzilla was challenged by was Kong and King Ghidorah. Tiamat was never a threat to him.
Jokes aside, Godzilla using the coliseum as a "bed" makes more sense than you think. He has been around long enough, destroying this and that without care, but keep in mind a dangerous creature doesnt live without thought. I saw this movie on my birthday back in April 18 and I really did loved this film and I saw it in 3D with my mom and my nephew and we had a good time watching it too and it was so epic and amazing in 3D too CinemaSins bro 😎 and glad to own it on 4K
I know there's supposed to be some sort of silly lore reason why Godzilla is now sleeping in the Colosseum, but I could care less. All I care is finding a 3D print large enough to make little colosseums for my geckos to nap in. Because there was nothing cuter to me than the giant radioactive lizard curled up and napping in there.

When skar was riding her she seemed similar to his size, but in the fight scene she was much bigger than Kong. We never get much Mothra in these movies because shes a lovely idea but a ridiculous reality. So I appreciate keeping her screen presence to a minimum to preserve her coolness.
From what I've heard, Mothra was a last minute add in. The production wasn't sure they'd get the rights, so they wrote an OC ready to scrap. It worked. Also, the anti-gravity fight with Godzilla having a blast should have knocked a few sins off. It was fun! Great video 👏🏻

There's always going to be two flavors of Godzilla. Godzilla as a serious no nonsense terrifying embodiment of nuclear annihilation, And Godzilla the giant lizard who can perform a flying drop kick completely parallel to the ground and does a little jumping victory dance after all is said and done.
Even with how ridiculous most everything in this movie is, you can tell once the gravity went away Godzilla's just roaring, "This shit is fun!" as he proceeds to continue to whoop ass. Really thought there would've been sins off for it....
