I Love my g3c 40 and 9. I fill the mags i just had to clean them lube them then put them back together . I also took a scotch bright pad to the slide made it look sweet
@@mick5740 I have 2 G3Cs. One I bought used and it had a major feed problem. The feed ramp had a razor sharp bur on the bottom edge and the ramp was slightly rough. I deburred and polished it. Now it feeds like it should. The new one had no bur and was a lot smoother, but I polished it anyway. The barrels have a bead blasted finish that shows shiny scuffs from rubbing the inside of the slide after you put some rounds through it. I Scotch Brighted mine to shine them up and that gets rid of the shiny scuffs by making the whole barrel slightly shiny. I like that look a lot better than the bead blasted finish that shows scratches and scuffs.
I like the G2C better just because i like the loaded when up plus i like where the SN is located instead of a cut out on the side like The G3C has I've seen alot of people who carry it get alot of dirt stuck in the cut out which is a pain to dig that out not to mention the look of it
179?!?!?!? That’s the steal of the year right there 😂🤙🏽 at my bass bro they got for 270🤦🏽♂️ I’m still thinking about picking one up I haven’t been to the store but I just saw it on the website
Hahah no joke I wasn’t planning on buying a gun that day but how could you pass up such a good deal!? Oh wow I would keep an eye out for a good deal but in my opinion it’s easily worth 300. But for that price might as well spend a hundred more and get a Glock. Either way tho it’s a great little pistol so you won’t be disappointed. Check some pawn shops as well as lots of people sell them cheap. The older series like my g2c are just as good if you buy a keep tinkering trigger for 35 bucks
I have the full size g3 the spectrum the g2s and g2c I bought a new g3c and didn’t like the fact it had issues loading th digging crown I carry sold it to my gun smith for 100 bucks all the rest of my Taurus fire a m are completely reliable and I carry them when not carrying my xd9
You might want to try to order ammunition! I payed less for 50 rounds of Federal HST +p than the 25 CD. Free shipping if you order 200$ worth. Outdoor limited
Nice video brother, quick question so the holster is interchangeable between the two? I'm getting the Taurus TORO G3C soon and kinda hard to get a good iwb kydex for the G3C where I am. So in a pinch it's ok?
@@fil-amphilippines5157 the g2c holster will not fit the g3c because it’s a tiny bit fatter but the g3c holster I have here will or should fit the toro because the top is cut out for an optic. I believe it should. Def type g3c toro holster to make sure if you can order from Amazon
@@GarrettChumchal thanks bro, now I gotta find one that's really ment for the G3C. Sadly for some odd reason Amazon won't let me send holsters overseas. So gonna have to find one locally
@@fil-amphilippines5157 of course! Dang that sucks but good luck. Worst case you can probably make a leather one that would be more comfortable anyways. Just need some sort of metal clips
I noticed this. I literally took my hollow points out of my G3C because it's true. I have only tried critical defense hollow points though and never ran them when I carried the g2c though. Not sure why but with the g3c you can only carry about 10 hollows in a mag in the or it will jam sometimes. I still personally like the g3c due to no manual safety and the keep tinkering trigger but the g2c is pretty good. I plan on adding a keep tinkering trigger to the g2c as well and it remains a backup home defense that I can rely on.
I did a whole video review on it here ua-cam.com/video/knB-1X43yEs/v-deo.htmlsi=tRJH2n_Vv6G4dfda and here's the link to buy it www.amazon.com/Holster-Valkyr
If you go to that video and click the link from there it works but doesnt seem to work from this comment. Hope that helps tho. It was only 20 bucks on Amazon
OK awesome. I did polish it just last night as I was giving it a good cleaning and was seeing how shiny I could get it. I'll have to test it out. Thanks!
Yezirr! They are exactly the same mags. That’s one of the nicest things about it. Now I have 5 mags ready to go. You can buy an extended mag which works for both as well if desired
I won't buy or own a striker pistol without a manual safety. Something can snag on that trigger when its least expected and with a light sloppy single action striker a negligent discharge is more likely. I will say my G2c has never had any problems feeding hollow points or any type of ammo. I have heard that also about the G3c having feeding problems with hollow points. As far as holster fit I use leather so the manual safeties don't bother me like a rigid plastic holster would nor does leather poke me. Leather is more comfortable to me and its quieter and less bulky depending on the holster. For my G2c I use a Galco Stow N Go STO286 leather IWB that also fits my Bersa TPR9C that is my favorite sub compact. For OWB I use a Bulldog leather slide medium belt holster and it also fits both. My micro compact SIG P365 also has a manual safety and I use a Kusiak signature minimalist leather IWB holster. It will also fit in the OWB Bulldog slide holster just pushed down a little farther until it stops. I have a BugBite neoprene calf holster for the 365 used for large legged dress pants if I want.
That sig is nice I would def like to get one. The stow and go looks like a good option and I will have to see if they have a light compatible version thanks again! I see what you mean about the safety but for me it feels safe to know its snapped in a good holster and that it is always ready to go warning me to be more careful when it comes to the safety. But to each their own. I still like the G2C but I just love it without the safety. The trigger is a bit harder to pull on the G3C as well. Wish I didn't have that hollow point issue but I will have to do some research and try a few different brands of ammo.

Did anyone else have their G3C frame crack on them? My frame cracked and is currently being warrantied out… the frame plastic seems very thin…
