Just an update: The streetwave Olympia skin came out a week after this video was completed which is why it's not in the video. It functions identically to streetwave wrastor. Instead of rollerblades though she as a skateboard. They also gave transparency to champion Olympia (her gauntlets and crystals), champion Mollo's fur, and champion Pomme's hair. Golden Olympia also has sparkles now. Champion hodan was released. He has transparency on his towel, and very slight transparency on his face. For his taunt, he pulls out a banana(instead of a trophy like the rest of the champion skins), presents the banana, and eats the banana. You can hold taunt to continuously eat the banana. Go to sleep Maypul Is out. You can only get this by backing the Rivals 2 kickstarter. Her taunt is that you pull out a pillow and sleep on it. Lily is now a plant holding a candle and sleeps as well during taunt. She also throws cookies instead of seeds.
The Ragnir skin on Maypul has a backstory to it. The Rivals and Brawlhalla Twitter accounts had a challenge where whichever account reached a follower milestone first, the loser had to put a character skin from the winner's game in their game. Rivals lost. By a LOT. But the guys at Brawlhalla were still good sports about it, so in Brawlhalla, there's also a skin for Wu Shang that replaces him with Ranno, complete with custom weapons.
A few corrections on the elli skins: Golden elli is less of a reference to gundam, and more Gurren Laggan which is still a mech anime The reason why is because said anime has lots of motifs & importance on drills, and one of elli's weapons is a drill (Most likely in reference to that.) The pointing up pose references a few moments in the show where characters do this during monolouges And the other is for the champion skin. As far as I can tell, she's more evil laughing that she's won/is victorious before the steam of her trophy overheats and blows up in her face.
I'll be entirely honest, I thought Gundam was the name of the genre of anime, which is why I didn't mention gurren laggan specifically. Kinda embarrassing I know 😅.
I did just realize an actual unique feature about the Abyss skins, that cannot be replicated with custom colors. When you get KO'd, the blast from the edge of the screen is purple instead of being based on your player color.
summit kragg also has the same color-shifting effect to orcane, just a lot less pronounced since he doesnt rotate as much, you can see it pretty clearly when you crouch

To my knowledge yes, but you can only buy some of the skins on steam. All others you need to buy on tournament websites.
