I like how you release some of the the big females of perch and walleye. Too many times people are focused on getting a limit only, not matter what. Good job!
I think Caleb tried a few. We switched baits often as it seemed every other fish was in a different mood. The lures that made noise worked best. Good luck!
Way to go fellas. Love the Aqua View footage. Still trying to figure out how to space the holes. So I can view two people jigging. Any suggestion for spacing my holes with the camera to catch both jigs? Go to try get it right on Fletcher's pond before I go to the big waters.
Caleb was using a lighter set up. But yes, I use a 4-6lb leader because the water is so clear. I switched to a 10lb leader once it got dark, for two reasons. 1. The visibility is decreased and 2. The bigger fish come out to play! You can get away with a heavier leaded when fishing on the mud by beating the bottom and kicking up some silt. It decreases the visibility for fish coming in to investigate.
Bet your line broke when your buddy pulled your line through that walleyes teeth earlier in the video that he caught...you can hear it rubbing against them teeth good video tho

Clear water definitely helps. Split the holes and put the camera no more than 8 feet away. 👍
