@@ScottHillOutdoors No machine to get out on the Bay?? I just hammered em out there Saturday Night fishing into Sunday Morning about 7 miles out in 31 fow. Got 7 Eyes all from 16 inches up to 23 inches and only threw 2 smaller ones back. Also got a 32 inch Lake Trout at 11pm Saturday which was a nice bonus for sure. All the big mommas are still out in the open water it looks like but they should be moving into the river or closer any day now. Cool video man appreciate the content. 👍
Great vid, seen the ones on the D too. Suggestion to ya, a bump board. I made one from 1x4 scraps I had in the garage, I cut it at 13 1/8” exactly, that way if the pinched tail clears the end, it’s a keeper, if your keeping 13’s. Good luck out there
The rivers still have plenty of ice, 8-12 inches depending on where you go and the Saginaw Bay has 12-16 inches or more depending on Location. The ice fishing is in full swing up here right now.
Great outing. I’ve been ice fishing for years and never fished the Saginaw river. I think it’s time to give it a shot. Cool video.
Looked like a fun trip!! Thanks for sharing!
Still looking for some bigger fish. Hopefully the next week or two will get better
Gonna warm up a bit, so hopefully that will help push some in some better fish. But at least they were snapping.

@Gummo been telling myself every year that next season I will get a machine to get on the bay
Nice Northwoods shirt! I fish that river a lot!

I had one but I made it at work out of aluminum and never got to paint it so the fish were freezing to it
I'd rather be catching shorts all day than sitting on the couch catching nothing !!!!!!!!!! Great job !!!
I was thinking about trying that area on the ice. Last year I lived on the same road as it. Bank fished it a ton!
Nice work...where you outside the channel to keep that Swedish Pimple vertical like that?
The current is very low as of now. But yes I was in the 15-18 FOW range
Looks good I will be out there early tomorrow morning👍😎
Things should only get better from here on out
@@ScottHillOutdoors Did you go out of Smith Park
@Quest 2 outdoors out of the DNR launch at the mouth next to Bay City Yacht Club
How thick is the ice up there now? From Ohio and been wanting to come up
We had 8"-10" at the mouth on Sunday
