The star that burns twice as bright burns half as long.
Best way to describe her ❤
No training no computer, just a love of music. How we wish she made it past that bad place in her life. Imagine her growth over the decade. Gorgeous
She’s still the “Queen of Camden Town” in many peoples eyes, sadly missed
You were reading her body language and I immediately knew what you were thinking. I felt so sorry for her at that moment since I had been there and almost went down the same track. I was given 2 years at the most, wake-up call for a panic patient that was afraid of dying, now 20 1/2 yrs of sobriety later I am still around - Thank you for everything you do for us and being such an empathetic human being. I hug you across the Pond ☮
Tony Bennett, God bless Him, only sang with the best, he asked Amy to be on his Duets II album, at 85 years old when recorded, I think Tony who had been at the top of his craft for over 60 years, knew talent when he saw it. Rare rare talent. Miss you Amy
Her acoustic version of I'm No Good is just as beautiful
But WHICH acoustic version? Oh right, all of them...
So much pain, so much passion. Effortless for her. One of the greatest vocalists of all time.
Fact
Amy will be missed! Forever part of the 27 club, so many talented artists gone way too soon
OMG! This got me crying! The love of my life, Lihnda , sounded just like Amy. She sang to me with the same passion and no one have ever loved me the way she did. And they both met the same fate. I miss my Lihnda so much! 💙💙💙
RIp girl , a natural born singer , she was my mums friend ❤ you wouldnt believe she was in that bad place here but still doing it better than most . if you know what i mean Cliff . Thanks for this man il show mum the reaction x
My heart goes out to your mum. I'm so sorry she lost her friend. Not the star or the powerhouse, but her friend... Much love.
@@jessicacaruso6261 🙏🏻 thank you
I get ya point bro but you can clearly see her withdrawal symptoms on this
I call bullshit just another drunk online claiming they know Amy lol , fun fact Lewis capaldi is my blood cousin let's have a competition 😏😏
I was going to say... you can see she wasn't well. Such a beautiful voice!!! 🙏❤
Never fails: still get chills. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 time. ♡
Amy is a legend in my eyes man xx her voice was powerful but had loads of soul to it xx ❤ xx such a shame she was troubled 😢xx
Always loved Amy Winehouse. Her voice is one of a kind. ❤❤❤ Stronger than me, from her album Frank
As soon as I seen u were doing this, I figured it came from BP! She was so amazing! So very sad that she wasn't able to overcome her demons! This woman is sorely missed!!
Thanks B.P.
Amy had one of the best voices ever 🙏
❤
It's such a shame that the people she loved and trusted in her life screwed her up so badly . A pure god given talent and a genius unfortunately inspired by inner turmoil and pain . RIP Amy Whinehouse may you finally have the peace you deserved in life .
I adore that her friends from high school loved and supported her with such abandon; remembering hearing them say, "Come 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲, Amy. Just 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘. We'll take care of you."
she was one of the few true "extra special" artists that blew up majorly mainstream for good (her name is known by most) and bad (toxicity of fame ultimately pushed her to her far too soon end) She is so dope
Her phrasing is perfect. That puts her head & shoulders above a lot of singers with voices as good as her…I think her voice is great. Art is always spoken of in present tense. I’m sad she’s gone, sad I won’t hear more music from her. She was in so much pain. ❤❤❤
She was so amazing. 💔
Another great reaction. I'm late to the Amy Winehouse fan club, but she has touched my soul. This 61 year old man highly recommends her first TV performance from 2003 she was said to be 19 or 20 years old at the time. It is from Amy Winehouse - Stronger Than Me (Live On Later... With Jools Holland / 2003). This is one of the performances that helped boost her career.
Her voice is hauntingly beautiful... touches your soul 🖤
One of the few voices that come up from deep in the singers soul and grab your attention from a deep place.
I'm convinced if she'd have a sang to animals they'd have listened intently.
Something very primitive about it, its so hard to explain, yet so very very real. Her voice makes you feel.
She was truly something else.. There's this young Brit performer who reminds me of her, she goes by Ruby J, Ren even did some stints with her busking, and got her to appear on his Twitch once. You might wanna check her out..
Thanks for the reaction Cliff, 🔥as always..
This session is amazing
I love her voice. It breaks my heart to know what she went through 😢.
More please
So much power in her voice.. damn.
The footage of her performing for execs at record company, which lead to her deal is staggering.
It’s that pain and raw emotion that made her voice so unique rip amy 😢
Ive heard this song loads, whenever its played everyone always sings it to me, i wonder why 😂😂
Goosebumps without fail every single time I hear this.
Thanks Cliff, beautiful and sad all rolled into one - a true gem
I still remember listening to this for the first time on😂 my space😂 and thinking how amazing it was❤
I love Amy’s voice!!!!
I DIED A HUNDRED TIMES
❤❤❤23.07.2011❤❤❤
AMY, WE WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER
I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I heard on the radio that she passed away!!!
She is my absolute favorite voice to this day!!!
R.I.P.✌️
Amy is surely missed to pass away at 28 years old is so sad, checkout Angelina Jordan live on Germanys Next Top Model sing Valerie a amazing stunning performance from Angelina,AJ was 17 years old, Heidi Klum one of the presenters on GNTM gave Angelina the Golden Buzzer when Angelina performed at 13 years old her arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody, AJ and Heidi have remained friends ever since and are often seen together socially! Great reaction thanks!
She was 27. Part of the 27-club.
The loss is incalculable.
Damn I cant even , goosebumps head to toe.
This is such an amazing performance from someone who was in such bad shape. It breaks my heart every time. I really wish she had had someone in her life who could have made a difference.
Cliff! Your face gives you away, bless your heart, your an empath!
I kind of suspected, so I've been binge watching your reactions today.
I had already pretty much decided you were, but this video confirms it!
No one can hide their emotions from you, even if they try.
It's a blessing and a curse, but definitely weighs more on the "blessing" side because it proves you have a good heart!
You just have to watch out for the "bad apples" they see it too and will try to use it against you or anyway to their advantage!
Stay strong my brother from another mother! Fly gentle as a dove but wise as the owl! ☺️❤✌️
💥New sub because of Amy!!! She was incredible her talent for writing songs. You listened and understood the multiple meanings.
I absolutely love this song, and this is the absolute best version. It has been on my playlist for years. Thank you for responding, you are so damned positive, and uplifting. Please, keep it up. You, unknowingly, have helped me through my own ptsd, anxiety, and paranoia, so thanks.
This one hits me much the same way it hit you. Not because it's my name. (I mean, let's be real, it's not exactly flattering to we few who wear the name). But I can't help but love the song; a next-door neighbor-turned-dear friend I've long since lost touch with used to sing it to me every time he saw me. I miss him & his gorgeous tenor, singing my name out of nowhere, happy to see me.
I hope he's not with her yet. I hope he's well now. But wherever you are, Chris, I love you, brother.
Well said mate, what a great tribute you laid out for this rare gem we all lost too early. Another great reaction but the first time I saw something really hit you. Please continue down this rabbit hole for a little while.. ❤
Clearly in this video, she was suffering from withdrawal. Drugs and alcohol ended one of the greatest talents seen in recent generations. An immeasurable loss. Sometimes I find myself wondering what it would be like if she were still alive. What new songs she would make and how it would be. Unfortunately, I'll never find out.
💯 love her voice and have heard and seen her every performance🙏🏽✌🏽
HTF did that voice come out of that absolutely beautiful girl? It is crazy how great she was. So sad she lost her way.
The recordings from this session are my absolute favorite performances Amy ever put to tape. She was incredible 💙
Rome Ramirez has a great rendition of her song "Rehab" that he recorded and dedicated to her after her death.
This song was originally sung by a Liverpool band called 'The Zutons.'... They wrote it about a girl from the US, who the lead singer used to date, but she couldn't come to the UK due to a drink driving charge.
Thank you for the info ❤
Tell me you didn't watch the whole video without telling me you didn't watch the whole video 🤣🤣
I’m from Liverpool and never realised this. Thanks for the info
Still prefer Amy’s version
The zutons..damn now I feel really fkn old thanks bro 😏🤣🤣
Like Sinatra, her voice never failed her.
❤❤❤❤
Sending support out to you.. very emotional to watch ❤
It's hard to watch when you've been there.💜💜💜
Okay I am not watching it now but I wanted to say I understand totally about it hurting your soul because you can tell she is so strung out and she was so talented and it's such a shame it seems no one was there for her😢😢😢😢 rest in peace Amy
She had such a beautiful voice but such a sad soul
Amy is my absolute favorite artist of all time. Her Frank (album) stuff is the best.
Everyone forgets that this is a cover of the zootons
Love is a Losing Game please
Rehab! says so much and it's truthful to the point of sadness
There are these few moments in the history of music that are magical. Like music for eternity. And this is one of these, isn't it!? So sad she died at that young age, unable to manage with her success. R.I.P. Amy
Man, I miss Her... gone way too soon 😢
You are sooo RIGHT !!!!
RIL❤AMY...🤙☝️😌
Damn, she was good! 😪
Let her all the way into your life. Amy is a gem.
This song is soooo gooooood!
Another legend taken too soon x
Aww bless can see verious emotions in this video
That's such a wonderful cover ❤
I miss her voice
Can't wait for the biopic about her life
This video is fabulous and heartbreaking. It hurts every time I see it. It is so freakin obvious she needs help, so many people failed her.
This is random cliff, but I would absolutely love it if you would react to Hanson. They were so criminally underrated because of their age back in the day, but they are still some of the best musicians to come out of the 90s. Either their BeeGees cover of Too Much Heaven live at the Sydney opera house or their live 2003 version of I Will Come to You. Both are incredible. ❤❤
💜💜💜💎🙂💜 Love her ❤️ 💜💜💠
I love her music but this song is beautiful and tortured. Her mannerisms were reading high and itchy but her talent was heavenly.
Yep! Thanks son for reacting to my girl Amy, left us way too soon. I can only imagine where she would be today if her demons hadn't taken hold, such a waste. Thanks Amy for leaving your music for us.
A Diamond broken on the way of life . RIP still missed and loved
Hauntingly beautiful. ☮️❤️😎
🖤
We failed, as a society and industry, Amy in her final years.
I cried all the song! :( I had tickeys to her concert. she had a tour and she was supposed to come to Bucharest after Budapest and she died before Budapest! :((
Uk artist …. Keeping it Real ❤️🥰🔥
for jazz ... i always go with m/s amy
I loved the Zutons original, which is really different, but Amy's version became absolutely definitive. So much talent but so much pain. ❤
RIP Amy ❤
❤❤❤
I 100% agree, Amy looks uncomfortable, fidgety, sad & nervous here, her hands are everywhere, and she even comforts herself when in a hug at one part holding her biceps and stroking her own arms.
💜💜💜
She would've given Aretha a run for her money for the Queen of Soul title.
It's a goddamn shame she never sang with the Funk Brothers backing.
Still missed. I remember the day a friend called to tell me she had passed.
Listen to amy back to black it’s amazing
She was an amazing talent, with a very confused soul. She looked like she was going through resistance from drug use by her movements. Don't we wish that all the talented people could stay with us a little longer. Bless her for sharing what she could with us.
Thank you for reacting to this Cliff! I hope you are doing well💚🤗🍀 could you please react to Animal by Viktus?
Hi Cliff, ❤reaction,Amy's voice, no one has a voice like her, no one. If they do, I will say "You sound somewhat like Amy W...RIL Peace
Amy was an amazing talent taken too soon , i always thought she was born in the wrong era . As soon as you hear her voice its unmistaken you can recognise it anywhere .
Just sadness pours over my heart every time I hear Amy. 😢
Edit: I totally get it! I feel the same when watching Elvis during the end stages of his life. As amazing as these artists are it hurts to witness the pain.
You should do "Rehab" Cliff. Now it hits different... hard.
This is hard to watch, she's in so much pain 😢
It's just so truly fucking tragic. I absolutely LOVE that woman's singing. I only wish there could have been help for whatever drove her to drink herself unalive.
It upsets me almost as much as losing Karen Carpenter does. Almost.
Just be glad we got this and other songs as a legacy
Your first that said what i noticed as well
She was edgy and unhappy
Hopefully her soles resting in peice now
Something she struckled with here
Cheers mate 🦘🇦🇺👍
