Re rawness: this a Mark Ronson track. It's so raw, (even on the club track) because he appreciates sound. Such a perfect player as Amy's a great instrument for those things we hear and can't do. Found dude in liner notes producing but his output, it produces incredibly better pieces than its pieces. You'll find out. Don't believe me? Just...
Her acoustic performances give me chills every time. She makes it look so effortless and the emotion that comes through is absolutely incredible. She was an amazing talent.
My brother, she did that performance sitting down! Ask the singers how hard that is! God really must love the blues to take her so soon. Even though the footage is getting to be that 'old and aged' way, she lives on in our hearts. We miss you Amy...
@@arcillasteehouwer48 whats my point? These people could have actually helped her. She was only like 23 or 24. She obviously had an issue. You can glorify her problems if you want. Thats not being a fan. Peace god. ✌️
Her last recording was the duet with Tony Bennett of Body and soul. It's an amazing cover and she looked so cute fan-girling it up as Bennett was one of her musical heroes.
Jamel Needs to react to her duo with Tony Bennett! Tony Bennett was her dad’s favorite singer back in the day and she wanted to sing with him because of her dad and became a huge fan of Tony Bennett it’s a great duet
I can't believe that I had never listened to Amy Winehouse before two weeks ago when my friend recommended I listen to her. I haven't been able to stop listening to her since. She had such an amazing voice. It reminds me of a mix somewhere between Aretha Franklin and Billie Holiday, both of which I absolutely adore. I am kicking myself that I didn't realize her talent before she passed because I would have loved seeing her live.
I had the pleasure. She was amazing when i saw her. I know that she had some rough performances when she was really high. The night I saw her in Edinborough she was sparkling!! A true generational talent gone too soon.
Impossible NOT to get goosebumps listening to Amy. This is my favorite version of her most upbeat song. Wish she could’ve done more like this one. RIP dear Amy! Blessings to you all!
Dear Amy! Bless her heart. She sang so effortlessly. We miss you, girl, but you sure shined bright during the short time that you were with us. Thanks for your beautiful music. RIP, dear lady!
Got to love The Zutons, there were a few great but underrated bands around this time like The Coral, The Bees and even Gomez all, except The Bees were from the, Mersyside, in the UK there was some great music around at this time.
Such a great song and also a cover. According to Mark Ronson Amy really didn't want to cover this song, but he persuaded her. We play this song in my band all different ways..slow, uptempo, acoustic, lounge, etc...

Her Love is a Losing Game demo version will break your heart. It’s definitely one of the best written songs of the past 25 years. She’s a very underrated song writer.
During an interview Amy told of her father playing almost nothing but Frank Sinatra in her home as she grew up. The thought that perhaps this style had an influence on her own relaxed, easy and pitch perfect style. Frank Sinatra was a perfectionist.
What a voice ! I started listening to her a few months before she died , I was stunned . Why , does life have to get in the way of so many young talents ? She was amazing RIP
Amy did a cover of "to know him is to love him" that is just fantastic... That, "Valerie" and "Amy Amy Amy" are my 3 favorites... God bless Amy Winehouse, gone too soon baby, way too soon...

George Michael had major influences growing up like Queen, Elton, Stevie Wonder and a bunch more, but once he became successful the only artist who completely blew him away was Amy Winehouse. He said he was completely obsessed with her music. RIP to both of them. ❤️
