Nice editing, proper tips for fishing, well done. Defining a Switch rod as a fly rod to be used both single and double handed doesn't make much sense to me, because Antti carried the second (single hand) rod with him anyway. Switch rods are small double hand rods as Antti demonstrated by how he used it. The name Switch rod was all about marketing, expect for a few ffm who can handle an 11 feet or more rod to be casted with one hand. I would get tired in 10 minutes. 😂
Hi Antti I really enjoy watching you fish. I also am taking in all the instructions and tips on flies and techniques. I do want to know what brand of reel you are using on the two handed rod. It’s enclosed on one side like a Hardy or Tibor. It’s also looks bright silver or pewter.
Very nice video again, just like the last salmon video. Please keep it up!! Can I get some advise on the weight class for the rods? Especially what gear is used all the way to the tippet when using the single handed. I’m a seatrout flyfisher in Denmark, I use a #6 and #7 for my type of fishing, however I to start and try something new I addition. Any help is much appreciated and given back for any seatrout questions. Knæk og bræk🇩🇰
Great film!! A bit of advice needed. I'm new to Salmon fishing and fairly new to fly as a whole. I like the idea and tactic of going through with a dry first and skandi after that. I've got a 10" 7# with an WF8 for the dry and an 11' 6/7# switch with a skandi head. So that seems to match up. But what if I hook into something big? (I can hope...)
Always really enjoy watching your videos . Very well done ! I'd like to hear you mention some of the brand names and particulars of your rods and reels , and lines. Thanks again for the awesome entertainment !!!! Wish I was there as well.
For that sized Salming would you not need to have at least a #10 Class single hand rod because When piké Fishing you use #10 class and a big Salomon is much more powerful than a big piké
@Flyfishing_enthusiast -98 yep it's up to you But in days past most quality reels were delivered with right hand wind. Hardy ETC it had a lot to do with casting (the line didn't catch the handle
I’d love to see more of these videos especially with antti!
Nice video Antti, we need more of this... best regards from Germany

I actually love ALL my switch rods!!
I have a bad back/neck and I have a #3-#5 and #8 and I use them about 50/50!!
Nice editing, proper tips for fishing, well done.

The rating on the switch is single handed weighting
I wonder what fly line Antti uses on his single handed rod? is it a XO float line?
Where is that location your demonstrating those casting techniques...?
Any new vids of salmon this year
Hello, what kind of single handed rod you use (weight)? And what kin of line to it? simpe WF? Also, what kind of line you use for spey rod ? Thank you
I am looking for the same answers ☹️☹️☹️

Sharp scissors on your vest is a bad idea mate. Poke a hole through your waders or your eye.

On the single hand rod are u just fishing with a weighted fly or do u have a split shot above it?
What line is Antti using for his single hand setup, is it a single hand skagit line or a normal wf line?
Salut super vidéo bonne soirée l'ami
Good job bro 😄
Cracking pair of salmon 😁😁 cool video 😁😎
Nice video ,regards from GB.

You generally cast smaller flies to salmon than you do with pike
nice video ,informative
👍👍👏👏💪🤝
He kind of looks like vladimir putin in the eyes lol awesome video for the rest though!
😂😂😂
Reel round the wrong way. This seems to be a habit that still water fisherman seem to have. Right hand cast Right hand wind
12dougreed Fish however you feel, for me as a right handed it's natural to wind with the left hand therefore no need to change hands to wind.
@Flyfishing_enthusiast -98 yep it's up to you
