It take time to keep up on it, but it is worth it.
REMEMBER: The dates on 99.9% of food is NOT an expiration date, it is an "Best Use By" date and those dates are an arbitrary date set by the manufacture. Originally to be a date the the food was still at its peak of flavor. But over the years manufactures have shortened that date to get people to throw out good food to get them to buy replacement food.

I think you did a great job. I've been looking at my newest shelving unit still in the box for forever (it seems) like it's going to open itself up and put itself together 😂 I'm still undecided just whete I want it and have to clear out some space. Im slowly turning my "craft" (aka crap) room into a pantry.
Keep up the good work. And give Roxie 🐕 an extra treat🥩 😂. She worked hard, too!
Too bad it doesn't already come put together. lol I have a craft/crap area too that is taking up too much space in my living room storage cabinet. But I guess that's what that cabinet is for. 🩷

Thank you! lol anytime. I struggle with the organizing too. Sometimes I just sit there staring at what needs to be organized trying to come up with a game plan for everything.

I use thpse Blue Runner beans in chili ... never thought about in Red Beans and Rice. I may have to try that. I add a can of them plus a pound of red kidney beans to my chili.
They make a creamed great northern bean, too, but they are hard to find.
You can also use the red ones mixed with can of refried beans in burritos or a 7-layer dip.
Never thought about adding them to chili. I might have to try that!
,Mary if I was you I would put those two shelf stable milks in your refrigerator if you have room, use it in your coffee if it's not good throw them out, Dollar tree has them for a buck and a quarter, Mary don't buy no more beans, next time chop meat is on sale make a nice pot of chili, if you want to have beans in reserve by dry ones and vacuum seal them. If you wouldn't mind next time you make that sausage Green Bean over rice dish could you post it I'd be interested in trying to make that myself, thank you
Thanks for the tips. Yes, for the dry beans I like to put them in mylar bags with oxygen absorbers. The green beans and sausage over rice is delicious with the Cavender's Greek seasoning. Super easy to make. I may do a video on it next time I make it.
