  • Test for the presence of lateral epicondylitis.
    The examiner asks the patient for the presence of undue pain or discomfort at the point of compression increasing with the maneuver.
    The test is positive if the patient reports pain in the region of the lateral epicondyle.
    A positive test may indicate lateral epicondylitis.
