The hardest part of an OSCE now will be remembering not to introduce myself as “Andrew, one of the final year medical students”
Lol true
machschau Lol😂
machschau 😂😂😂😂😂
Amazing! 😄😄
😂😂😂
As a medical student, these videos were my go-to for OSCES. I am now a doctor, and I've unconsciously incorporated elements of Andrew's mannerisms and expressions into my routine physical examination.
LOL I cant believe that after passing MRCS, I am here for a quick revision for ST3 clinical videos and geeky medics is still my number 1, although specific tests are needed for the FRCS. Definitely adequate for medical students
Happy to still be here for you Jeff! Hope ST3 is going well. 🙂
Is this man gonna be a 'Final Year Medical Student' forever? lol
Thank you so much for the amazing work!!! You are the best channel on UA-cam and you have helped so many med school students!!!
Nice video guys, i thought it would be much better if you added more special tests.
These are the general important special tests and what they test for, look for them on youtube for how to perform them:
Apprehension test- Test glenohumeral instability
Painful arc test, neer test, Hawkins test - Impingement
Jobe's test, empty can test - supraspinatus tear
Scarf test - test the AC Joint
Speed's test - Biceps and check for biceps tendonitis.
Gerber test (lift off test) - Subscapularis
Thanks

My OSCI will be after two weeks and I am little bit confused about the physical exam 😔😔
I think he did painful arch test wrong as you are testing pain during abduction not adduction
ToXiCOnE100 eccentric abduction still loads structures that are affected in the painful arc
@@Dr_Footbrake both movements will elicit a pain response in the event of GH joint pathology. however, you should have your patients actively abduct the arm. No idea why he passively did it.
Dr Andrew what stage are you at in your training now? Thanks - M
Andrew is currently an Emergency Medicine trainee
I thought it was regarding gym training
@@geekymedics May I know what is Dr. James doing at the moment? I assume he is a doctor too.
@@jaynade2248 He's currently working as a doctor in New Zealand!
Lol I’m here again after three years of watching this for the first time
Glad to have you back!
Everyone who studied medicine knows that James has a flat belly
Mashallah ❤
Second year medical student 💔

Anyone else here for ASMR? 😂
Yes lol
Yes fam

On that note, imagine a video with Andrew and Colin again. We can dream.
