    I have been using the Pixel Buds A-Series that I ordered with my Pixel 6 Pro. They are awesome! I play games quite a bit and they have no issues. I thought I would share my experience. I want to say that I only have to charge for about 15-20 minutes to fully charge the ear buds, but, don't quote me on that.

    Do you or anyone that sees this know how these buds compare to the Galaxy Buds Pros? I've been waiting for these earbuds with baited breath, but refused to purchase them before hearing what you had to say. I have the A-Series as well and I love them they're not like my Galaxy Buds, but my Galaxy Pros are not that comfortable and don't sit in my left ear well. I'm looking at these buds as kind of a replacement to my Galaxy's
    I wonder if Europe's law forcing everyone to use USB-C charging is the reason they're not sending a charging box or cables anymore? My wife has a habit of losing chargers 😡 and it'd be nice to keep getting them. At least when I bought a phone. Loved the cliff notes review! Looking forward to your in-depth word on these buds. It's funny how the closer you get to 40 the more you realize you're unwilling to deal with the BS of others. When people I don't care for are speaking to me I just walk away probably why I'm my own best friend anymore. Anyway I look forward to your next review.
    Thanks and praise 🙏 regards

      The not including a charger thing started way way before the European usb c requirement thing. It's probably got more to do with profit margins. Chargers cost more to make now for a variety of reasons. With most devices using standard USB c, and with most people already owning a charger, companies would rather not spend a couple bucks including a charger

    • @viktorcapulet6708
      @viktorcapulet6708 2 роки тому

      @@Toblerone5 I'm aware that the law was recently imposed, but it was being spoken about for a long time before this. I wasn't saying that it had anything to do with the EU's decision. I was simply postulating. However, what you stated makes perfect sense. It's all about profit margins these days. And I understand not including a charger with headphones, but they should at least give us one when we purchase a phone, especially when it's over a certain amount. I didn't read a lot about it so I don't know what happened and why, but I know there was a person suing Apple for not including a charging setup with their phone. I spent almost $1,000 on a phone. I don't want to go and spend $50 or more on a proper charging setup when the phone should have just come with one. Not to mention wireless charging leaves a lot to be desired. I have several wireless charging devices and rarely ever use them for my phone.

    • @Toblerone5
      @Toblerone5 2 роки тому

      @@viktorcapulet6708 Yeah I agree it's dumb but without a law mandating chargers, now that the precedent is there it's just how it'll be because it's cheaper.

    Good Review Adam, thank you, I found your channel when looking for reviews on these as I am considering them. Honestly the top things that I am looking for in Wireless Ear Buds are 1. Fit/Comfort (I have ear buds in more than I have them out) 2. Battery Life (even though I have the 2 gen Air Pods & of course the battery life has deteriorated some as to be expected,) they still die incredibly fast & I don't like that & they don't even have any ANC & while there will be times that I will certainly use ANC & I am thankful for that feature, I also like & need to hear my surroundings at times so ANC is (almost) a bonus feature. The Touch Controls on these especially the swipe back & forth for Volume I think sell me on these too. I also don't like Super Heavy Bass Ear Buds Headphones & I also need the ability to switch between my upcomming Mac computer & my Upcomming Pixel 7 Phone. I think between your's & Mike O'Brien's Initial Review of these, I will pick up a pair this Fall.

    Thanks for this honest review. I have used wireless earbuds since I had my iPhone 7 Plus (I’m now on an iPhone 12). I have used literally everything from the Beats Powerbeats3 to my current AirPods 2.
    My problem is that everything I have used since the Powerbeats 3 falls out of my ears. I somehow broke them and was not able to replace them. I even bought a pair of ear hooks to keep the AirPods (1 and 2 generations) in my ears. I even have a pair of Motorola VerveOnes+. Those are the most uncomfortable earbuds I have.
    I don’t care about ANC. My requirements are battery life, comfort and stability in my ears (earbuds must stay in my ears). I also don’t want to spend an arm and a leg. I do like a few earbuds:
    1) AirPods 3 or Pros
    2) Beats Fit Pro
    3) Beats Flex
    4) Beats Studio Buds
    Which ones would you recommend??? Thanks

    I've had mine for a few days and I disagree with some points. I too have weird ears but the stock tips don't fit at all; had to buy some memory foam tips to keep them in but despite that, it only keeps them in for about an hour when not moving. However I do have to shake my head rather hard to get them to slip out with these foam tips.
    One thing I noticed is the design of the Buds themselves don't adhere inside of the ear and rely solely on the tips to keep them on, which is a bad design in my eyes as these buds are somewhat heavy. (For earbuds) Since it's getting colder I imagine people who use earbuds for running/jogging or any physical activity where you build up a sweat may find these earbuds problematic. I probably just have nasty ears but any sweat or moisture will absolutely loosen these with minimal effort.
    In the future I hope Google releases a Pixel Buds Sport that are designed to use the whole bud to fit in the ear and not just the tip. Probably could use something like a cone shaped tip to better fit inside. (Used those with a pair of Nokia earbuds that would not be rocked loose)

    Can you make a poll to see if other people feel the way I feel but can you ask the people if they would like to see you either rate or give a dollar value on how much you should pay for the product. What you consider the fair price is or if you should until they are sale at this price.
    An example of this would be the pixel buds pro they sell for 200 but you would wait until they are on sale for $$$.
    Or compared to other buds the pixel buds pro should only be worth this much $$$.
    Or if you pre-order this product it comes with this included which increases the value of the product and this is a fair price?
    In the initial review I feel like you won't be able to do that, but after a week or two you should be hopefully able to tell if what you think is a fair value
    And I posted this before watching the video so I have no idea what you are going to say

I am not an Iphone owner/user, I use Android, although my music collection is all Apple/Itunes. Honestly, I find & prefer to listen to sound profiles as they are out of the box & not really mess with the EQ & since I plan on getting a Google Pixel phone soon, I may consider these as long as I can use Bluetooth to connect & listen to my music collection on the Apple Device I have for that.

      I'm the same way, the Buds A-series that I've been using up to now are the only earbuds I can confidently wear without worrying about them falling out because of that wing tip so I'm a little weary how these Pro models are gonna work for me without that wing tip. Mine are arriving Monday so I'll find out then. The estimated 11 hour non-ANC battery life was just too good to pass up though, I am getting just shy of 5 with the A-series which for me aren't cutting it and I don't wanna pay over $200 for the Sony's which don't have 11 hours of non-ANC battery life anyway.

      I think the sound experience is about the same. I like the Jabra app and the bass hits harder in the 75T, but the natural sound profile and vocals/mids are better in the Pixel Buds. If I remember correctly the highs are better in the Jabra. Pixel Buds ANC is better than the firmware updated ANC on the 75T, plus better battery life and you get transparency mode. I think comfort is better too with Google. 75T you can get much cheaper now though and are excellent.

    Received a $20 off coupon due to being a pixel super fan, so waiting on a set of these to arrive still. The form factor of the case, and design with wireless charge are some of the biggest pluses of my pixel buds, so the pros definitely sound like a nice upgrade in sound quality which I would have just rated as ok on my gen 2 buds.

      @@TechOdyssey Thank you sir and yeah the only things I could find were for the PB2/A and since these are slightly larger they don't fit. I just got mine like five minutes before watching the video but I'm so afraid of dropping them lol

    Did you have any low maximum volume issues? My A series still has that even after the latest 3.415.0 update and customer support can't seem to help.

      No. I thought the volume was good. Louder than my Sony XM4.

    Pixel buds 1 original are the best Bluetooth eapbuds I've ever owned. Fit and performance is unmatched, sound quality and battery life are better than Samsung and apple

    Got the jokes today😅. I have gen 3 AirPods and pixel buds series a. I love both but when I’m not on my pixel and using my buds with iPhone the connectivity is so bad and there’s sound latency. I never have that issue with AirPods across any devices. Google is definitely making improvement to all their devices and overall ecosystem especially with a possible watch and small rumor of a tablet but I really think they should be focusing on software. Updates give solutions, but recently ever new device they drop has so many bugs. The one thing keeping them strong is their cameras with new software but same sensors. Impressive, but not enough for me. Solid video.

    I think they are really over priced. Sure they have features that other earbuds don't have but, I have the JLab ANC Sport which seems to have better transparency mode, ANC, and bass. I've even heard that the call quality sounds more realistic on the JLab ANC than the Pixel Buds Pro. The JLab ANC is $100 whereas the Pixel Buds Pro are twice the price. I like the multi-point feature but until Google expands the feature, I don't see any reason to spend the extra $100 for a device with lesser quality. The Pixel Buds Pro charges faster because of the usb-c vs the usb-a on the JLab.
