Coming from the initial Samsung Galaxy buds, I basically like everything about the Pixel Buds Pro, from the fit, responsive touch controls and audio quality. My favorite is the multi point connection. Love these buds, great job Google
Hello! I'm in the same boat and looking for an upgrade. I really feel like I'll miss the fins on the OG buds. What's your thoughts on that?
My only issue is even the smallest fitting feels a bit tight on my ear but thats a issue with my ear not the buds so
I'm iphone users from 11 years in apple ecosystem and slowly move to pixel ecosystem 😍😍
Had mine for about a week now and I can say it's better to wait for a sale or a promotion for free. I'm one of those with weird ears that cannot wear typical earbuds and these are no different sadly. However a pair of memory foam tips fixed that for me but the downside is all memory foam tips I've had with different buds do inevitably wear out.
The biggest issue is the shape of the Buds themselves. It's almost as if they rely on the tips to be what keeps them inside your ear when the bud's design does not help. I still have to occasionally readjust them even with the memory foam tips. When the weather gets warmer I can see these frequently falling out of my ear because I sweat easily.
What I'd like to see is Google to make a Pixel Buds Sport with a longer cone shaped style tip meant for runners and people who exercise, but with the features of these current buds.
I will say the features these come with are great. The touch controls like you mentioned are fantastic, the noise cancelation works well enough, but I love the transparency mode that lets you hear your surroundings easily. Definitely a massive plus during my Pokémon Go sessions outside as traffic can sneak up on me even when on the sidewalk.
Which foam earbuds did you go with? I tried the Comply but none of the sizes seal for me.
I got mine free with the Pixel 7 which was great. I miss the fins from my previous Pixel Buds 2, so they need pushing in a little more often than I'd like. Wish they'd do some xs tips as well.
i received them today and i love them! I think the fit is weird because at first i wanted to put them in the ear more straight like the older buds but the bean shape it meant to be laying in your ear and after couple of tried and a long walk i must say they stay fit pretty great and the touch controls always worked so smoothly.
My only gripe is the audio lag. 😐 There is a tremendous delay while watching UA-cam videos while connected to PC.
Hmm. I have no lag with anything on my laptop either
All these new earbuds coming out tempting me to upgrade. ANC would be really nice but my current Galaxy Buds+ still work perfectly fine and because it had such great battery life at launch it still lasts longer than most
I'm looking to upgrade too. I'm on a pixel now and I don't want to upgrade and the sound isn't better than the buds plus
As a Pixel Buds A user, love using them and their design.
I have the a series and they're super underrated. I have pros on the way, but I'm keeping the a series buds for running and working out as they're smaller and have the wings to stop them falling out
I've loved Pixel Buds since the gen 2, A Series were awesome. I bought these to go with my phone and they were the new product, the ANC and transparency modes... They're game changing features for me, couldn't take a bus trip now without anc .
I purchased some foam tips that are compatible from Amazon and that solved my issue with how they fit in my ears. They are snug and secure and they don't move at all. I don't have to fidget with them as much anymore. I will say as far as the sound the vocal preset is very good for podcasts. As far as phone calls, I haven't had any complaints. As a matter of fact, they've been my best pair of earbuds for calls. Audio switching is a very underrated feature of these earbuds. If you have two Android devices connected, audio switching works seamlessly... Most of the time.
What's the name of the foam tips?
Can you share information on the foam tips - thanks
Foam tips info please.......
Someone doesn't read their messages. He he
@@JayCreates I just posted the information. I thought I did earlier. Sorry!
Ive got the lemon grass colour,, and i love how they work with the Google assistant integration noise cancelling and calling quality
Was in the Jabra camp before and got mine via a promo essentially for free. Audio lag is really getting on my nerves, ANC let's a surprising amount of high frequencies through, transparency mode doesn't allow control the amount. All things the Elite7 just did much better.
Sound is good enough, controls work fine, even though I do occasionally pause music accidentally. Hope that will change with practice.
Summary: good enough for free via a promo but I would buy a Jabra again if I had to spend money on it.
For what it's worth, I bought both and returned the Google Buds. Jabra Elite 7 Pro are fantastic.
Have had mine a few months now, although i wish i could raise the volume up 25% more than currently permitted and sometimes one of the buds doesn't charge (left bud), so i assume its my fault when inserting back into the holder and the connection on the pins isnt secured... Other than that, cant fault them. love them.
Same Problem here somehow they are not loud 📢 enough... hmmm 🤔
I've got the same issue with the left bud refusing to charge sometimes. I've found that cleaning it and the inside of the case makes it charge ok again. Not sure what caused it tho
I have the A series and the right bud doesn't seat well in the case, causing it to reconnect and not charge sometimes. They have a design flaw to work out on their cases.
@@benjamindover4337 apple has had years to design their cases and those things still drive me up the damn wall. Always one side that doesn’t charge.
I ordered mine the other day bc my pixel buds gen 2s went to crap the other day. I can't wait to use them
0:48 what kind of music player is that?
Great long term review and summary of the pixel buds pro!
Great to see other Tame Impala enjoyers
Furniture polish will stop the plastic creaking 👌
Had mine since yesterday and had the pixel 7 pro for like a few months
Love both so far
I'm really struggling with the fit of mine. They keep falling out.
Yesterday i have received mine love it 😍
I really hope these don't suck; I literally just bought them from Google for $140 on sale.
Picked these up for $149.99 and love them so far
Same. I was getting the Pixel A series yesterday on Black Friday and ended up swapping them out for the pro. Loving them so far!
Completely agree about fit. I have to adjust as well.
You believe this spatial audio to be added?
do you have to activate the charging function of the case first or does it always charge the headphones when you put them in the case. Because for me, it's always like I use the headphones for a while and then put them back at 80%, which means the headphones never go below 80%. In addition, my battery from the case runs out quickly. Is that normal?
Add a third party EQ and you can get these to sound sublime. As good as any other
Wavelett App
@@ZSKiIIa yep
I recommend Poweramp Eq. The best eq you can get.
@@pabblo097 is this also for iOs?
@@pabblo097 IV used it on the past. I agree it's the best. Wavelet is just simple to use. But Poweramp is the creme de la creme
The EQ was definitely a welcome update to help the sound and the battery life is a killer, they last my entire shift without dying.
how has the battery held up over time? do they still hold a charge long enough?
Google gave me a $300 store credit, should I buy these now or will there be a 2023 model released soon?
Good review but is it better than the Bose comfort 2...I have those and the Bose sound is incomparable to any ear phones I've used before.i forget at times that I still have them on because their so comfortable
You forgot to mention the pretty good ambient sound mode. 😆 I've been using my pair since release and for sure the two best things for me have been ambient sound and the long battery life as I wear them basically moves to the day when I'm home in my days off.
Planning to get one this fall. Any suggestions on which color to pick? Not a big fan of vibrant ones and don't want charcoal either, so debating between fog and lemongrass.
I think the new Porcelain colour or Fog. The beige tone of Porcelain is exaggerated in images - in real life it is very much just a slightly off-white, which I think looks pretty nice.
The only thing I want to test is : inside a helmet on my motorcycle when driving, can I use Google assistant to do everything without touching anything on the highway?
I still have the Pixel Buds 2 and the battery only work for 30 minutes. Should I get the Pro?
30 minutes? how long do you have them?
Please make a video on how to check if my headset is compatible to stream flac content🙏
Overall I like my Pixelbuds... But I miss the wing, these don't fit my ear great and the comply tips didn't help at all and just kinda made them worse to me.
Mine keep falling out, can't walk with them for longer than 2min before adjusting
I've got weird ears so the pixel buds don't fit great. The Sony Linkbuds S however are perfect
Has anyone figured out how to make them louder? It drives me nuts, I always have to have them on max and its never loud enough
Go-to developer options, find "disable absolute volume" and toggle it on. This seems to allow you to turn the volume up past what your phones slider shows. (use ear buds to turn volume up). This seemed to help me get more top range volume. this was from dude in the comments
I can’t use a personal iCloud ID on my official MacBook. These have been game changing for me during long work days of zoom calls! Other than that, I agree with whatever you’re saying. That creaking is definitely there but the shut magnets are solid.
7:45 for Audiophiles
Freaking BS that they dont mention OPUS.
I love my pixel buds pro buds honestly they don't sound good when you connect them to PC for watching UA-cam!!! Nevertheless multipoint is an amazing feature!!!
how is the real-time Translation?
Now I love them too..any suggestions for the volume? Sometimes it's good loud 😆 sometimes it's too silent 🔕

@@josephpetrowsky9639 😊 Thx 🖖
They should have added the fin onto these somehow. These don't stay in my small ass ears
I have never owned any of the Googles earbuds but it just sounds like they need I work on the audio quality and the volume.
Memory foam helped them to sit
They are garbage, left or right side drop depending on which side is taken out of the case first. If i take the left side out the right side drops or vice versa
Call quality is great once you EQ it
Warning comments from an "earbud snob":
Comfortable but could offer better sound quality and ANC. Good, but not the best. Samsung Buds 2 Pro is genuinely better for both. I like the Google-exclusive features on the Buds Pro, but they are troublesome to get in and out of their case. For superior sound quality and ANC, I still prefer the Sony WF-1000XM4. Otherwise, consider the Google Pixel Buds Series A is a better buy with equal Googliness-features, similar sound quality and skips the Google ANC (for at least this generation of Buds Pro).
I got the orange ones also
My biggest complaint is the fit. No one talks about walking with headphones in it seems. I can hear every single footstep just reverberating through the buds. I have tried every single tip size too and can't seem to get a perfect seal, especially on my left ear.
I hate that too, and it happens with all earbuds or earplugs. Aftershokz are much better for walking/running, with open ears.
I haven't experienced anything like it with these
I'm glad it got rid of this guy. He was not an Android user. He even had an Apple watch on in his last few videos
No aptx? And $199?
Of course!
Google never ceases to excel at screwing something up
I have returned my one because of the latency issue....be aware guys..
I just got these. Haven't tried them yet. Have a pixel 3axl (I use a phone until it dies completely). I have the beats fit pro, which I love. They hurt my ears alot in the beginning, but used to them now, but they can still hurt your ears after wearing them 4+ hours (I sometimes wear 10-12 hours a day). I have an active job so always moving so the fins are great. But I've been having some small random audio issues,.not enough to be a major problem yet, but afraid it could get worse in the future and apple says they can't find a problem and send them back. So to Google I go. Hope they compare well enough.
I love my Pixel Buds PRO
Can't fit themmmmm
i have the xm4 wireless and i have a pixel 7 pro should i change to pixel buds pro ?
The Mentos buds looked much better.
Your mic is bad. Sound goes low then high
I like the pixel pro.
Awesome products from Google
Don't get these, they are ok when new but they age badly with ANC becoming less and less impressive and effective over time and are not water resistant
6:27
Pixel 7 pro is much better than the pixel 6 pro
I was considering these before settling for the WF1000XM4, which were almost the same price on sale.
Having already used the WH1000XM4, I was biased towards LDAC. So, felt more at home with the WF series. And switching to Best Audio Quality (990kbps) in developer settings is like going Super Saiyan. Sony really outdid themselves!
Pixel is a good phone. However pls don't get the pixel buds. I had a very bad user's experience. I have replaced the pixel buds 3 times since I bought it on Dec 2022. 3 months out of 9 months on the road for exchanging. However, google actually did nothing other than exchange the product. :(
I've had mine for a year and a half now. Horrible experience. The first couple of months were fine but now-and as a diehard Google fan it pains me to say-these are the worst headphones I think I've ever used.
You didn't tell why the reason of it, so you're liar
@@ilhamyahya7 you're right, because after my pixel buds broke, I used the dime xt by Skullcandy, and THOSE are by far the worst headphones I've ever used, so good job
I agree completely!
They've only been out for 8 months....
@@NeonShores 😂 why do people feel the need to lie??
Your facial reflexes are too much sir it looks exaggerated and they're distracting
Awww leave him alone
Was this really a necessary comment to make? No, delete it and move on
Call quality isn't good, ANC sub par and in-ear fit not best for all. For the price, I'd say not the best product.... despite all the paid reviews by UA-camrs!🤌🏻
