Bodycam Footage - 20-Year-Old is Caught with Fake ID and Won't Tell Police Her Real Identity

- On February 10, 2024, Pullman Police responded to the Valhalla Tavern for an ID check. The manager suspected that a woman was using a fictious ID to enter the bar. Officer Westerman went to great lengths to try to identify the woman who turned out to be only 20 year-old. When her real identity was discovered, she was arrested for Criminal Impersonation, Minor Frequenting a Tavern, Making False Statements to a Public Servant, and Minor in Possession (MIP) Exhibiting Signs of Intoxication. All suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
She may be able to impress a few spotty college boys, but the police?? embarrassing..Girlie..

I understand the sentiment behind your intention to hold liars accountable but how would you determine if an accusation is false? Would charges on him be filed? If he was not convicted, would you assume she was wrong and prosecute her? Or would he be required to somehow prove his innocence? Which is antithetical to our judicial system. Fewer victims would come forward for fear of being prosecuted if a conviction isn’t proven. It’s a slippery slope. False accusations are reprehensible. Thank goodness for body cams.

I reviewed the body cam footage again, and while the officer was talking to her just outside the doors, that same dark haired girl kept looking at them through the glass, before she finally walked out and said “Bye Josie”. It was so obvious she knew this girl was using a fake ID and was just trying to help her friend. And then she “claimed” she didn’t know they were talking, when she was watching them. Thank gawd for body cam footage.

Usually when kids her age are using someone else’s ID for a bar, it is just a friend or sibling/cousin’s ID being borrowed for the night. The odds that she was going to con someone with that ID (that it’s stolen) is a rather silly, because she’s not very bright.
