- Western NC is home to many beautiful sights and sounds but one of the best Kept Secrets in Western NC is the Brown Mountain OHV Trail System.
This is one of the first trails that Me and Kim completed when we bought the Jeep and it is still fun to use for shakedown runs etc.
This trail is very easy because there are bypasses to almost every obstacle and is perfect for a stock jeep.
Even though this is an easier trail system you'll see that you can still get yourself into dangerous situations if you're not careful!
Let us know in the comments what you thought about this little hidden trail system!
My wife and I got home last night from NC. We stayed at a friend's cabin in Mars Hill and rode around all over the place up there. We did the Goat Trail and Buzzard Roost was going to do hurricane but decided against it also did the Rich Mountain Paint Creek Loop, we had a blast but it didn't last long enough and my old YJ did pretty good.
Nice those places are great!
This was the first place we went to test our Jeep. Perfect for beginners!
Absolutely!
Brown mountain is good place. You can go with just a stock truck ! Great place for any rig . Anything can go!
You’re absolutely right!
Another good vid! Awesome guys!
Thanks Jerry!
Awesome video. great have this in Burke/Caldwell county. You been up back way from Wilson creek or over to Grandfather Mt so many back roads up around area . Both Jeeps looking great .
Thanks buddy it’s always nice to be jeeping in the backyard!
At 5:12 mark of the video someone said “should probably buy some skid plates?” Or something like that. Or maybe just move the rock that could easily be moved. If a path can be made better and easier I say do it.
If you're going to offroad your jeep you need under body protection period. Every obstacle can't be moved.
🏆🏆🏆👍🇺🇲🙏
Thank you for sharing.
As always buddy thank you for watching!
Hope to get to meet y'all on the trail sometimes Ronnie from Georgia
Yessir! Be safe out there !
I remember that trail in my Renegade lol
It’s a fun little Saturday for sure nothing hard or technical
Both jeeps look great! Are you taking both out West?
No just Bella, due to gas cost
how well would a factory tacoma trd offroad do on this?
You would be fine just take it slow and watch your lines. We saw a factory Jeep renegade go through it.
Would a stock tacoma with all terrain tires be able to do this?
Yes I think so.
Does nc have any good trails I just moved here from Washington state and all the trails I’ve seen are literally baby trails where use to crazy rock crawling anything that like here in NC?
Watch our videos on Uwharrie national park. There are some great trails there
Will a RAV4 TRD make this trip?
Potentially, we saw a stock jeep renegade make it. just choose your lines carefully
I live 4-5 miles from here and have been everywere on Wilson's.If anyone gets the chance check out Harper falls its beautiful..Ps nothing wrong with peeing outside we was all born naked its man that invented clothes.
Absolutely! We love Harpers falls as well
I live in between lenior and hky NC.I have a 20q6 jeep wrangler unlimited and need a good mechanic that knows their way around a jeep and want shit me on price like a dealership... could someone give me some help.
We Absolutely love Outlaw Offroad in Charlotte NC, and Motoflex in Lincolnton NC....it is worth the drive. Multiple local shops made a mess of our jeeps before we decided to go to a "Jeep" garage
Oh... Man... That's a man.....
This is probably coming from a little soy infested fella that wouldn’t make eye contact with either of us in public…
Do me a favor and look me up on Social media...
