Hey Stewart. Could you show us how to use the EQ (and Compressor if possible) on the CT-X3000, let's say for a Song you recorded and you'd like to mix it within the device, how would you go about that? Also, is there a Master EQ and Compressor (like Master Bus on a DAW)? Thank you in advance, Stewart. Best Regards.
Hi Stewart. How's it going? On the CT-X3000, i understand that you record the whole drumkit on 1 track/channel. My question is, 1. Can you record each part (kick, snare, hats, toms, etc.) of the drum kit onto each separate channel. 2. If the Drums can only be on 1 Track/Channel, can you Export/Render Out each of the parts (kick, snare, hats, etc.) sepatately? Thank you in advance.
Let me be a little clearer. My main goal is to record the drums for a whole song (intro, verse, chorus, bridge...) but play back each part separately so i could record each of those parts so i coukd process them separately in my DAW. Best Regards.
@@khaoshellatron7721 Yep you can have up to 16 MIDI channels of drum sets if required - they can be different drum sets too. MIDI CH10 is "stuck" as a percussion-only track, but the others can be anything - piano, drum set, bass, synth, sample, etc. Audio renders can be made for each channel, or combinations if you mute/solo them. I hope that helps.
Thank you. However, let's say you already have a Drum Part with Kick, Snare, Hats & Toms, can you mute/solo just 1 part, let's say the Kick only? All the best.
@@khaoshellatron7721 If the parts are on several different MIDI channels/tracks, yep - no problem. If it's one single channel/track with several percussion parts playing at the same time, you'll need to filter them out separately - just make several copies and delete the kick/snare/HH/tom etc parts leaving one behind each time. These could all be on the same MIDI channel, spread across multiple copies of the same track, and you can mute/solo each one. I hope that solves it!
No - I've just expanded the 4-track 2-bar sequence with another 7 tracks, and everything appears to playback OK. I can't see anything in the manual or spec that suggests MIDI files are restricted to 6 tracks - I think that's just the internal song structure. At some point polyphony may become an issue, but 11 tracks with mostly single note lines and a few chords (strings, piano, guitar) all remain intact and sound fire. By the way, the "Firewire" tone with some added modulation is starting to sound Tangerine Dream-esque! All the best.

Ok, got it. Thank you. I very much appreciate you taking the time & effort to help.
When you import a midi file into a user song bank does the keyboard restrict playback to six tracks?
