Wood-Mizer lt40 restoration!

This is part 1 of hopefully 2. I'm going through a mill that has been sitting idle for almost a decade. Covering all aspects from the engine, driveline, hydraulics, electrical, and alignment. Hopefully, you can find information here that may help you with your sawmill.

Great video. I have the same engine on my LT40. I wonder why Kohler used the fuel shutoff selenoid? Is there some advantage to shut the engine down by cutting fuel vs cutting spark? Or maybe the spark is cut also?

Never 1200 hours, i own a lt 40 too. It looks like max 300]400 hours
