- I was passing Howden and popped by to film some of it. I have always liked Howden, it’s a lovely place. Years ago, I would go there often but its be many years until this visit since I have been there. I hope you enjoy this drive about.
Howden is a market and minster town and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It lies in the Vale of York to the north of the M62, on the A614 road about 16 miles (26 km) south-east of York and 3 miles (4.8 km) north of Goole, which lies across the River Ouse.

Thank you for the great video my dear friend. really like it and see you
Back in late 80s I was a howden school, we use to go walk around howden in lunch time.
It's very much a small York in centre
In away it was interesting.
Always liked Howden, sadly character about to change with a massive building programme I read on the news.
thanks for the video
My home town, haven't been for a few months. That entry would have looked different a few years ago. So many new builds.
It had changed so much since I was last there 5/6 yrs ago. I always liked Howden and wouldn't mind living there, maybe one day 🙂
@@WelshRob1964 I live on the South Coast now so can't just nip in. Hope to keep a link to the town.
@@laurawalker1509 I have only just moved back nearer the area, hence to visit 😁
Great video thank you for sharing. I lived in Howden as a teenage, but now live abroad. Only good memories from the town although it's changed so much.😊
