England is so cool. It’s about the size of Louisiana but has the best rock bands, writers, comedians, and actors. I lived in blackpool back in the 80’s and I miss the UK. What a special place
I agree that England has the best actors. In the US most actors have family members who are actors, directors, and producers. They were pretty much born into wealth, so I imagine it's not like they had to work all that hard. Based on reading the bios of most UK actors, they developed an interest in acting on their own as a kid or teenager. Their parents weren't in show business. In fact they had working class jobs. I feel like that's why they're so much more talented than American actors.
@@dreamcollector6811a lot of American actors are terrible. There are loads of British and Australian actors working in LA that dumb Americans think are actually American simply because they can pull off convincing American accents.
Living in a metropolitian city and having to stop every 3 minutes due to traffic, you have no idea how blissful this made me feel. Thank you! Please post more!
So pretty and comforting. Also have Vashti Bunyan songs playing quietly in the background and I'm feeling the most serene I've felt since before COVID.
What a cool village! I love old stone architecture. Also I couldn't help but notice, the rowhomes you passed kind of resemble the ones in Philadelphia. I'm sure buildings and houses in the US were inspired by England. Thank you for posting!
A great drive along the A6. Coming out of Buxton I thought you might be going down my favourite road, the A515 to Asbourne, but I enjoyed the old A6 nearly as much. Thank you.
American here: Hi, thats one of my wishes to drive by myself on the left side of the road. Ive been to England went on the bus and i was totally amazed how you can see the sites so much easier driving on the left side. Cool!
Thank you for the lovely video. Beautiful cities, villages and landscapes. Somehow I miss driving on the wrong side of the road and going through a roundabout every few seconds ;). All the best from Switzerland and stay healthy.
The brown signboards that are passed occasionally, indicate places of cultural interest: castles, churches, country houses/gardens, archaeological sites etc.
I am interested in seeing inside those shops. Even some of the insides of fish and chip bars. Antique stores are interesting also. We have huge stores here in Texas, and little shops like that don’t really exist here. Thanks, loved this video.
Just subscribed this is so relaxing feels like I'm driving the car even though I don't drive ,this is gd for my mental health something which relaxes the brain dave looks like your doing 100 miles an hrs I bet your not seems it nice and fast thank you
Such a nice drive. England is beautiful. Although driving in your cities seems so much more stressful as you have so many obstacles to drive round and just seems like so much zig zagging going on as you maneuver through.
Lovely leafy drive full of places I spent many happy hours in....though the Victorian viaducts along the way were new to me and led to much googling and poking around on google maps! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you. I was looking for videos that would help me get used to the concept of driving on the left, and to recognize road signs and traffic patterns in towns and in the countryside. This is perfect.
this was really nice, i dont ever plan to going on England but videos like this make me feel like im there, greetings from Texas sorry i can't spell to good because im not very great at spelling
Hmmm from what I have heard it is easier to adjust than one would expect as I know a lot of people whom drive in Europe and they have to swap sides of the road there. I would say its probably down to each persons own confidence levels, wouldn't recommend for a new driver.
As an American who has once (for about a week) driven in England, watching this gives me PTSD! 😂 Honesty, the driving on the left was relatively easy to get used to (with some concentration and focus), but I had problems keeping my car centered in the proper lane because I was so used to the typical "sight picture" from the left the seat. Being on the right side of the car while driving was difficult to get used to and several times, I ended up hitting the left curb with my left rear tire when turning left because I was not used to more than half of the car being left of me! It was not easy, and I'm thankful I didn't hit any parked cars in the left shoulder while I was there.
Amazing that England with such a large population in a small area has so much beautiful countryside, reminds me so much of my country NZ Thanks for putting this up really enjoyed it. God Bless
hi,,how did you set this up...? did you put on the hood ? did you use stabilizer ? or only suction mount cup ? do you have the link for the mount suction cup ? its so smooth.. thank you ,appreciated !!
the most cheapest suction cup mount I could find on amazon. (as initially it was just an experiment) you should find one for less than £10 placed on the inside top of the windscreen the smoothness is really down to the GoPro 8 and its stabilization set to boost.
Pretty close to Llandudno which is on my to-do list, so yeah I can do that. Iv'e marked it down. Could be a long while before I get the opportunity to be there..
As American. The english country side is so beautiful. Driving on the reverse side is strange to me. 😀 i think making a right hand turn is hard to adjust. What does the zig zag marked lines mean?
Congratulations ! You have passed the Practical Part of your Driving Test. Now, one short question : You are entering two back-to-back Roundabouts with 4 and 6 exits respectively and wish to exit on the third of the second. ; Answer either A) panic B) Catch a 'Bus.
I wish an England woman would become obsessed with me and couldn’t live without me. Therefore she would want me to move in with her in the English countryside. LOL. It’s soooo damn beautiful there. Thank u for the virtual experience.
Dave, I've been watching a number of you walks and drives. decided to watch the New Precipice walk again today but was disappointed when it cut out at about Minute 48 juST past the white house when you strike up hill beside a stone wall. I was so disappointed not to see the stiff climb and views from the top. any idea what happened?
The Precipice walk does end just after the white house. Straight after putting my camera away I back tracked to the white house and had a picnic with my family there. My first tough climbs that I filmed was Mam tor and Winnits Pass.. not sure if they might be the ones. Sorry can't be of more help.
Can you drive in Great Melvern? If you can that will be appreciated and a big fat like. Go from Evesham (Thats where I live) to Greater Melvern. If you can. This vid also was great just like all of your vids.
