Okay. There is a huge difference between "grilled cheese" and Toasted cheese sandwiches. Companies call them the same thing, but they aren't. Grilled cheese is delicious! The coin counter: the tubes that hold the coins ing the machine are supposed to fill up first so you know how much you have. Then you slide the rollers on while its full of coins so the coins go into the rollers from the plastic tubes.
Line the tray with foil or parchment paper if you don’t want them soggy. The thing works great. We have a large one similar to that. Great around the pool so the kids can just run up and grab them a snack whenever they want.

It's weird that the smore holder is shown that way because I feel like it would work better upside-down. Putting the ingredients in the cage part would help hold them better.
I was thinking build the smores in the square parts, fold the other side over, then flip the whole thing over so the little square cages were on the top.

I've never seen anyone put Hershey's lips in a 4x1 configuration on a smore. It doesn't even make sense. Usually it's 3x1, because they're sold that way, and with four 2x2 fits better.
Tyler! At 2:22 when you put the buns in the top, possibly try this so your buns DON'T get soggy, wipe off the inside lid and the bottom top compartment (as best as you can considering the boiling water in the bottom creating steam) and then , cut to size and place some parchment paper. That may perhaps, work to some degree? It doesn't necessarily HAVE to be parchment, any cooking paper will do. Good luck! Happy hotdog cooking with your new hotdog cooking machine!
The coin counter just reminded me of seeing that exact same model being sold at Service Merchandise in the early 90's, then been sold years later at McFrugal's (before becoming BigLots)
If you steam a bun, only do it for a minute maybe two. The buns will get soggier the longer you leave them in there. Sometimes, depending how hot it is, sometimes could be done in 10 or 15 seconds...
Put the s’mores fix ins in the basket part of the s’mores , the coin tubes are a little wonky, the bag for toasting is interesting, the musical timer is cute!
I love how you will build an entire chainsaw that attaches to a drill without instructions, but when you get a hotdog steamer you do 😂 😂 I love this channel
I have the crank version of the coin sorter, and I would say that the heavier, cardboard-ish rolls work better than the cheaper, paper ones. They hold their shape better in the tubes and the coins fall in easier.
Looks like the quarters were having an issue because the paper tube was sitting taller than the rest. Maybe they're like that or maybe it wasn't fully seated.
If you put sauce on your spaghetti, you need to cook it until it is a bit under-done, then add it (along with a bit of the water) to your sauce to finish cooking. It lets the sauce permeate the pasta. Tastes SO much better, that way.
Steamed buns are better in the long run cuz you get the flavor of the steamed food and it doesn’t absorb all of your saliva an dry your mouth out. It’s very good

The hotdog thing says "Salton" brand - I just saw a video earlier that mentioned the Salton Sea where I'd only ever heard of that like one time before ever - as I'm 3/4 across the country from California. And, obviously, I know the movie "The Doors" with Val Kilmer but it had been years since I thought about it and now I've seen videos popping up everywhere making mention of it.. I know those aren't a big deal but this algorithm stuff is getting weird - or maybe interesting. There are probably even more I haven't noticed. But it seems like these things happen in bunches..
If we do smores at a campsite. We roast marshallows. (Its most of the fun) and use those celebration branded cookies with the chocolate on top, cuts down on space in the vehicle for stuff.
When steaming a baked good it is important to not overfill the water. Water from bellow is a problem. Also condensation on the sides and lid should flow back to the main water and not touch the baked good. Works good on home cooked bread and rolls that harden faster than store-bought.
Just a heads up Tyler great video as always but the coin thing what you do is let it fill up then slide the coin roll into the tube after it's stacked to the top.
For the coin counter, you arent supposed to put the paper sleeves in the plastic tubes. Youre supposed to let the machine sort the coins into the tube, and when it reaches the top of the tube it is a perfect roll, at which point you insert the sleeve upside down over the coins inside the tube. Then you invert it and take the tube off and the coins are all inside the sleeve.
The main thing wrong with the s'more thing is that it isn't how you make s'mores. You roast your marshmallow (like on a stick over a fire or grill), then stick it with the chocolate between two graham crackers. The heat of the marshmallow melts the chocolate just a little. It shouldn't all be a soupy mess like that, but there's no avoiding it if you have to put the whole thing in the oven/on the grill.
