I love lamp
I saw a regular white 2018 GT just a moment ago and the front end just looks so aggressive. The bullitt is a phenomenal car and it's not that much more than a similarly loaded performance 2 GT. With the Bullitt you get a special mustang, more power, and better resale value. Sure the GT350 is a more exotic animal but to the old man that wants confort and a unique Mustang this is it! I can only dream of owning either one in a few years, one can only dream off.

I think the exhaust note is about the only thing about this car that's like the original. That and the color of course.

Awesome video. I always appreciate you guys keeping it real and giving pros and cons. I also like the new editing and music, one thing I'd suggest is possibly lowering the b-roll music volume as compared to the talking volume. Just a sugestion, I felt volume jumped up and down throughout the video. Thank you guys! I love all the new series and the "guest" reviewers.
I love the S550 platform. They are on the heavy side, but they feel like go carts compared to the Challengers. The aftermarket for these cars is so stacked you can make the car excel at anything your heart desires.

I was able to drive the right hand drive Bullitt at work tonight. It's odd being on the opposite side of the car. They also sound amazing in the building.

I tell you what, if you go back and watch the bullitt chase scene, they got that exhaust note down pat.
Exhaust notes can't be beat..it has to put a smile on your face if you're a muscle car enthusiast!
And that is the magic of the Mustang 5.0 engine...
No matter what happened all day at work - all I need to do to get a smile on my face... Is run it through the gears and let it sing at 7K rpm. Brings a smile to my lips every time!!!

That startup intro on the dash should show a big ass Magnum 45 shooting a Mustang Bullitt out and part of the gun smoke is from the Mustang doing a fat burnout as it shoots out

Pretty good review, a bit lacking in what "Bullitt" is all about, the movie and character. Anyways, the car is what it's supposed to be, and I think the video hit it perfectly; it's between an SS 1Le Camaro and a Challenger, but with a lot more cache, style and presence. I dare say this is the best looking Mustang ever.

I've read/watched other reviews like this one that scoff about the weight of the current GT and hint that the car has some annoying understeer at the limit. I know those stock Bullit wheels have traditionally been quite heavy and I would assume that continues to be the case w/ this 19" version. I'm wondering how much handling and steering response could be improved by swapping to good set of light weight 18" wheels and also some lighter weight performance break rotors?
18" wheels wont clear the brakes on this one. Have to find some lightweight 19s or larger

Do the 5.0 still have that ratatata sound problem coming from the vct solenoid? You see that topic a lot on the ford forums. Especially on the F-150

They said it was bad casting and said the new batches should be much stronger we shall see
I just couldn't justify spending over 50k on a Bullitt if the clutch fork are going to shatter with just a little abuse
Did Chevy every Fix their Key-Switch that Killed 125 and Maimed 250 more?
Did Toyota ever fix their sticking gas pedals? Did Jeeps quit catching on fire? none of these questions are relevant to this conversation.

Italy? Netherlands has the highest tax on large displacement engines and most other countries aren't far off that mark. Where I live this 5.0 liter engine will run you about 2500€ yearly tax (compared to a normal car which hovers around 200) and that will add up real fast
That fender t-shirt is overkill
Sounds like a subaru and the front looks like an Aston Martin. Headlights and "brow" are cool and super aggressive, but the grill kills it for me. I do love hearing that flat plane crank motor scream to 7500
turbo2ltr this car doesn't have the 5.2 Voodoo engine. This a Coyote 5.0. Cross plane crank. And the 5.2 red lines at 8200rpm not 7500.

Ben Bullitt, really any mustang gt transmission isn't exactly heavy duty. The t5 synchros aren't great, the t45 has bad shift forks, and the early tr3650 has a mixture of both problems. Think the s197 tr3650 might be good, however it should be, considering how many revisions the previous tr3650 had (final "fix" tsb didn't come until 05, kind of FU to 01-03 buyers out of warranty).

Old Gear Head I waited four years for a Mach 1, I originally wanted that cause it was rumoured to come in 2018. I'm getting a bullitt now since I love how the green looks. And now the Mach 1 is said to be a crossover or something.
This will be my next and last mustang! To bad by the time I can get it it will be used and driven for 5 or 6 years. Collectors item that I would drive all day

In Austria you pay ~30% Additional taxes and thx to a 5.0 V8 you have to pay 32% taxes extra (NoVa). Here it costs 80k bucks... Highest prices in EU. My dad's rs6 had 80k€ only taxes
I like the bullet, but it's far cheaper to Buy a GT tune exhaust and put a Gt350 intake on it

Wayde Sutton oh no. I’ve seen numerous dynos showing standard gt’s making 500 crank hp. I dont believe for a minute the bullitt makes less than that, In fact, if it made less than that, you’d have a lot of upset bullitt owners.

No it's been updated. They took some parts from the tremac in the 13 14 gt500s. It's now the mt-82-D
So it's a stock mustang gt with cold air intake to get to 480 and then just cosmetics? Hmmm... so color is the main difference and a couple of badges?

'60's music would also have been a good idea, but I figured they already had the rights to this or whatever and didn't want to pay royalties. I was surprised hearing the Camaro is a "sports car" too.

Why when Mustang is talked about overseas it always is Europe this and Europe that? You should see whats happening in a much more closely related place, my home country, Australia. Mustang has been the biggest selling sports car here, now 31 months in a row!! Mustang is also entering V8 Supercars next year. Also, Bullitt is pretty much already sold out here too

If you want a muscle/pony car, get a challenger wide body. If you want a sports car, get something like a M240i. Both are faster than this. I'm not saying mustangs are bad cars, but there are just better options out there.
