    I came here because of Niki's suggestion. The information was very interesting. I am from America and have been interested in Russia for several years and I watch several channels like yours. Its so nice to see so many Americans (like me) watching this channel and are truly touched by the circumstances that Seryoszha is unearthing and helping. I am Russian by heritage and have family in Russia and Byelorus with whom I have corresponded with since I was a child. I am multilingual because of the WWII mindset of my parents (and others who were fortunate to escape Stalin) and their peers (speak as many languages as you can learn) and the horrible circumstances (starvation and torture) both my parental families endured that eventually led to their arrival in the US. It is so heartbreaking to see how my babushki and dedushki have been led to such a decline through communism. Although Russia has risen, but the rural poor have not. Alcohol is pervading through the countryside and the least fortunate. And now it seems that there is a resurgence of this ideology to bring it to US and the West. God forbid and I hope my fellow Americans reject this evil ideology. Jacob Schiff. Look this name up and you will learn a lot.

    • @sebastienbolduc5654
      @sebastienbolduc5654 2 роки тому +1

      I work in the automotive industry and you are correct; however, there is a shortage of everything now. Even aluminums, steel, rubber, etc are all in high demand and the world market cannot catch up. As what I assess with the prices of the used cars he shows in his video, the prices aren't all that much different where I live for used as well. I live in Quebec, Canada btw. But these sanctions on Russians are definitely going to make those prices a lot worse for them, especially if they cannot get replacement parts for those vehicles due to the sanctions and boycotting. It breaks my heart seeing this happen to some Russian who has to make a repair and either cannot afford it or not being able obtain the part. If I were a Russian in the market for a car right now I would only buy Russian made for the time being. Just to stay on the safe side.

    Sergei delivers again! Some may not be interested in this topic but I definitely enjoyed.
    Everyone talks crap about junk cars, but I love them. Old, simple, reliable, cheap! Who needs airbags or comfort? I could buy 30 2105's for the BMW and it looks better than all new hatchback/SUV/wagons to me. Tortoise and hare my friends.

    • @MJ-uk6lu
      @MJ-uk6lu 2 роки тому

      In this day and age, you would want an airbag. Those Ladas don't have any safety features, besides seat belt. Pretty sure that it doesn't have crumple zones too. If some moron rams you from rear, I guess you become crumple zone.

    • @LeviGC93
      @LeviGC93 2 роки тому

      I just have to respectfully disagree. I'm not saying airbags are bad, but give me a seat belt and I couldn't care less. I hit a deer a few years ago so hard I thought I totaled my '99, but the airbag didn't deploy. Hit it hard enough that I had to straighten the frame horns to put on a new front clip. At least the seat belt locked up for me and I wasn't injured.
      I was also a passenger in a new f150 that got hit by failure to yield and the airbag never deployed... hit hard enough to pop the rad. It then went off randomly months later in a parking lot when I pulled into R, I guess there was a manufacturer recall they were just faulty lol.
      I bought myself an even worse 1982 and I love it. It's inadequate in almost every way except built like a tank and reliable as hell. I'm fairly certain if one of these pop can and plastic new cars that are shaped like my grandmas skechers accidentally rear ended me, it would need its crumple zones more than I would. No way to drive that thing while you talk on the phone and play with the radio, it demands full attention. It's difficult to drive distracted when you know you have no power steering, a clutch that breaks ankles, and inadequate drum brakes. I think this is the majority of the problem with most younger drivers and the problem intensifies with "easier" to drive, comfortable vehicles.

    Another interesting video Sergei. Thank you for making the video. Prices for used cars also went up significantly (circa 30% for certain models) here in the EU since about 2 years.
    Bye the way: stocked factory new Lada Nivas 4x4 in basic EU configuration (metallic paint, airbags, AC, power windows, ABS, power steering, trip computer, additional underbody and cavity preservation) are selling for 15150€ incl. VAT from car dealers here at my end. Finance available at 0,99%.. Additional towbar plus electrics for 550€ extra.
    New Lada Vestas currently not available in EU markets due to missing environment certifications of the 1.6 engines. Fleet of used 2019 Lada Vesta SW 1.6 16V in full configuration (black metalic paint) for circa 13000€ per vehicle.

    Car prices are crazy everywhere right now. There is a race track in Kentucky that is holding over 12,000 brand new Ford trucks because there is a chip they can't get right now. I also heard if you buy a new Jeep they can only give you one set of keys until more keys come in. Thanks for the video!:)

    Same thing across the world but for different reasons. Used car market prices in the States have also gone up quite a bit from supply chain issues. Chances are used car market it will continue to go up as new car prices keep going up.

      Then where are all those ohhh so great Russian products? 40 years ago some poor and greedy communist lovers bought that crap.. We have loads of 30-50(!) years old Volvo, Toyota, BMW, Mercedes, Saab and VW daily bussing around in harsh Scandinavian environment.
      Not even our junkyards stores that level of Russian crap... 🤔🤷🏼🙈🤣👋🏻
