i think he should be cousin and stepfather of dragons
My poor little thing, he thought he was an incest baby for a few seconds
😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂🤣🤣
Tbh I laughed really hard
That would have been a really crazy twist 😂

"Your mother was ... Leana Stark"
"WTF!!!"
"And your father was Rhaegar Targaryen."
"Oh ... oh ok, I see. So not Leana and Ned ... Ok."

it's so funny how even when targaryens don't know they're related, they still end up doing it with each other. World full of people and Jon and Daenerys still slept together.
Lol what to say, love is blind, love find its own way
One factor in people's attraction to one another for sexual purposes is if they have a lot in common, and that includes looks. You don't hear this talked about much, but there is actually something of a risk that close family members who did not grow up together will commit incest if they ever meet one another. Sometimes you hear about that happening with reunited siblings after an adoption, for instance. There's an instinctive thing that happens when these family members grow up together where they automatically develop an incest taboo, but they have to grow up together for it to really kick in.
So yeah, it isn't just Targaryens.
I'm not saying this is a good thing, I'm not suggesting it's a good idea, but it's a thing that happens and people don't like to talk about it.
@@urthboundmisfit Actually, I'm very familiar with that phenomenon. My siblings and I were raised in fostercare. My sister was adopted to parents though and never had contact or visits with our bio family until she was 18.. then her and my cousin started sleeping together. Our dad and his dad are brothers.. I was so wigged out about it and I went off on them one day and Jason's explanation was "we weren't raised together and didn't grow up as cousins" ... my biological uncle had SA'd me and my sister for 2 years before he was charged and we were removed.. I went to therapy for years and learned about this... it's why you often see couples looking alike who aren't related as well.. when you are not only attracted to but also acting on seggsual desire with a very close family relative tho there's usually an underlying mental health issue ..... with the targaryens it was just normalized so no one thought it was morally wrong. Pretty much every monarchy has incestuous marriages to keep their royal bloodline pure.
Makes no difference
Because all the Targaryens where in breeds that's to keep the dragon genetics....
That's why the uncle had a bigger head than most it was a sign of the in breeding w family it was natural in their culture/house....
They where open about that fact....
? well rheanerya married her own uncle daemon
incest runs in blood
I LOVE that they had Sam tell him since Jon would know he wasn't lying to him
Sam and his family was the heart of the show. His loyalty, kindness, his intelligence was warm and gave you a safe place to watch ,Winter Coming.
And yet script writers mocked him in the last episode as if he was a pile of waste.
U can tell exactly what he was thinkin at the end of the scene " I don't want it"......
"Damn you writers" 😂
Yea I think this was after he was bangin his aunt. 🤣
It’s an Aegon thing not wanting the throne, weirdly gentic
@@vincenzinasoos9587 I wish they had named him something else. Hopefully, not a naming starting with an R either

"The prince who was promised"
So much for that.
Oh and in HOTD they talked about it too 😂

Um
... This is EXACTLY why a song of ice and fire existed you wellnit. John snow IS ice and fire. The joining of ice and fire was always the prophecy, and the prophecy was also in HIGH VALYRIAN, SO... if you also weren't paying any attention to THIS plot point; "the prince who was promised" is actually properly translated as prince/princess. The word in H.V. has NO GENDER. are you like "Harriet the spy " level understanding television shows??
"But she is muh' queen tho!"
Where is the self realisation? probably running late 😂
'You will always be my queen'
She actually f*cking was they should’ve just got married n jon should’ve got himself some heirs his first son should’ve been Ned Targaryen
He may have been your father, but he wasn't your Daddy. - Blue guy from Guardians of the Galaxy
Yondu
@@dannyd7714 Yeah. Him. Thanks, his name slipped my mind.
Ned stark was an honorable man, who chose to save his nephew by any means necessary because he knew the ways of that world and for the good of the realm, he kept his promise to his dying sister and did what he had to in order to protect her son who's fate was all but sealed. And the realm got Jon Snow because of it. I find that pretty honorable. Plus, Ned actually WAS honorable. Did anyone really think he violate Catlyn's honor by banging out some no name chick that no one ever knew about? Come on, now. I always thought it was weird because Ned was absolutely the pinnacle, the standard of honor. I was always confused about what it was that would compel him to mess around on his wife. He just didn't seem the type to do something like that, even when he was young. He always had respect, for men and for women and even for his enemies. It just didn't make sense. But there was Jon. And in retrospect, the way he treated him really was more in line with a nephew than a son. Weird.
Truly said, he was the most honourable man I have ever seen on any series or novel.
It bothers me he didn't trust his wife with the truth so she can at least be nice to Jon Snow growing up. Not to mention, Ned should not put her through the torture of having a constant reminder of his "infidelity*.
@@mariev6108 Who says she did not know. She could of known and acted like he was a bastard as a way to make everyone believe he was one.
@@mariev6108 Um if she didn't hate him, people would've been suspicious as to why the wife was so kind to a bastard son (even though the child is at no fault), it's just the attitude of those times. Secondly I guarantee she would've thrown him under the bus to save her children from the Lannisters. Ned knew this and couldn't risk either scenario.
Ned stark promised his sister that he would keep her son safe, that's what he did. He was honorable and his wife knew that. He would have revealed the truth first to jon and Caitlyn only if he lived longer
"Why you telling me all this? I dun wunt it!"
What an interesting plot twist. Surely it will serve well towards the storyline and fullfil the prophecy😃
Lolz 😂😂😂, this plot twist has even managed to lower the value of hotd, because everybody knows what crap is going to happen with prophecy
🤡🤡🤡🤡
Love your sarcasm.
😢😢😢😢
I loved how this played back to how ned protected darnares from robert. Ned wasnt protecring darnares he was trying to change roberts mindset about killing john sno
Youbqre right ...he was just trying to make Robert soft ...oh my gosh he was such a great man
With better writers, kit Harrington could have become legendary. Up there with Oldman, Fienns, Coltrane, Rickman and company. Kit had everything in this show before the writing turned sour.
Humility. Honor. Strength. Intelligence. Improvisation. Thinking on their feet. Quiet confidence. Appropriate respect for standing on giant's shoulders. Acknowledgement of what brought him where he is. Temperament of a saint, heart of a warrior.
He conveyed all of that and more in his stint as John Snow before D&D massacred him with their pathetic writing.
Hope in upcoming spinoff he redeems himself and become as legendary as he was before poorly written season 8 ✌️
James Morganson • You must’ve be high when you wrote that 😂
@@rmellrobinson821 😅 maybe a little blitzed while rewatching the earlier seasons of GoT
Biggest mistake they ever made was not letting Dany and Jon become the new rulers
Yes at the end Danny should herself bend the knee and acknowledge Jon as one true king, and Jon should sent her ti the wall, that would have been awesome, it is like she goes all through the pain just to be stabbed by her lover cum nephew...
In the end the biggest revelations came to nothing.
Not true at all, it ended up being the biggest dissapointment in cinematic history.
The book isn't finished right? Know this happened just don't believe it did
Terrible writers.
I mean there's a Stark ruling every corner of Westeros now
Bran, Sansa, and Jon
The targarean house depends on you jon. Marry some noble house. Restart you home and find drogon and capture 7 kingdoms again
May be we get to see this in Jon snow spinoff.
@@followthestranger can't w8 4 that the adventures of jon snow
If he destroy the freaking house Targaryen i will hate him forever
That sound like GOT but instead dany, jon recovering his legacy, I almost can see him in the throne of iron again with drogon beside him ruling as aegon, his real name.
he's gonna marry the freefolks. who else he could get down there?
The series should've ended with him sitting on that throne. Im so mad he had to go back. Im so mad to this day bc he was such a great guy and would've been an amazing king.
Aegon the Black, with the honor of a Stark. Lord Commander of the Watch.
❣️❣️❣️
Sam - Your mother was Leyanna Stark
Jon - ….*wait a sec*
That would have given Jon Snow literal nightmare for a sec 🤣🤣🤣
Well, the revelation revealed incest, alright.
After that Jon snow: I don't want it , your my queen 🤣
He was happy as a snow ❄️
What a truth bomb that was. It's a pity we didn't get to see him become king. He even had access to a dragon and the dragon liked him 😂
He was screwed by the script writers big time 😭
We will! They’re creating a new series based around him. I hope I love long enough to see it!
Drogon and Rhaegal liked Jon, when Danaerys Targaryen was alive. I'm pretty sure it'd change drastically when they figured out he killed Dany! Rhaegal would have reacted just like Drogon...
Imagine what this does to a person's psyche:
- was told all his life that he is a bastard
- was told all his life that Targareyan are the devils
- hated by his stepmom
- realised the only family he had and the only person he saw as his father and was honourable and honest wasnt actually his father and lied to him all his life
I feel like Jon's strength of character is greatly undermined by the audience... most would have went insane by the revelation
How lucky of Jon to grow up and have black hair like his mother
Luckiest bass-stud who was not a bass-stud but a born king.
Jace, Luke, Joffrey: 👁️👄👁️

Dragon 🐲 love him so much that even after killing Daenerys, Drogon destroys the iron throne instead of Jon Snow ❄️
you cant deny to hear the satisfation in Sams voice when He delivered this news.
Hey free tip for you, Sam... Start with your father is not Eddard Stark, it was Rhaegar Targaryen and your mother was Lyanna Stark.

Crazy to think Daemon and Rhaenyra are Jons Great great great great great great great grandparents.
Daemon & Rhaenyra
Viserys II
Aegon IV
Daeron II
Maekar I
Aegon V
Jaehaerys II
Aerys II
Rhaegar
Jon Snow
Really crazy, will take HOTD will take atleast 8 season to reach Rhaegar 👀
"Your mother was Leanna stark"
John: "Gyatttttt"
sam deliberately saying jon mother first which make jon think ned stark doing incest.
what a true troll
😂😂😂 Lolz you are funny btw Nice observation power bro
Ned was honorable to the end.
Yes he was
Dany: NO YOU CAN'T BE A TARGARYEN!!!!🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Poor Danny 🥺🥺
@@followthestranger nah poor Jon..
I thought this was going somewhere....and I guess it did, North of the Wall.
Hehehe 😜 😂😂😂😂, it is where the spinoff will take place. Nicely setup for spinoff.
My 2 favorite characters in GOT.
And the man Ned Stark was protecting his nephew from, was also his best friend. Wow... Just, wow!
"Don't worry, it will mean nothing at all. Nobody cares.
Well, only Varys will take it seriously."
Actually he did the right thing, if only he had succeeded, in my view he was smarter than Tyrion not to involve Jon directly in the plot to kill Danaerys ...
They should have done a series about Robert’s rebellion and the life of Rhaegar … it would have been more interesting than the House of the Dragon I guess
I was so expecting him to immediatly go like "i dOn'T wAnT iT"
Yeah 🤣🤣🤣 that would have been epic
This could have been such a turning point to the story, but no…
Bad writing bro, bad writing is to be blamed 😑
This was one of many, my most favorite clip! This scene was definitely in my top 5 favorite’s off game of thrones!
Drogon : I knew it when I saw him up close 😅
POV: you find out your house words are Fire and Blood.
Yo my man ✌️
Fire and blood remembers winter is coming?🤣🤣🤣
We all need a friend like Samwell Tarley
"New caption, was Lyanna Stark"😂😂😂
The moment his character died, "I don't want it!" Was all we heard after this, over and over.
How the truth staggered him!It just had to be told.i felt for him so badly here.💜💛💜
😲 but they (D&D) didn't make use of it, show would have been better without this builup
imagine they cut the scene out, they just implied it by jon and sam talking in the background of the scene. Thats how i felt when Jon was going to tell his sisters the news and we never saw the reaction
The edit that was made with Daemon giggling at the end is what i cant seem to find 😂
he knows it's true immediately because Ned Stark would never have cheated, and the only thing he would lie about would have to be an act of self sacrifice
Yeah Ned is the most honourable man on TV and the first time I saw him I knew he wouldn't be able to cheat anyone, not in his blood
Imagine without this GOAT charector (jon snow) this show is maybe below average......best character I've ever seen Aegon Targeryan 6🔥🔥🔥🔥
To me this is where the new series needs to start. Even though he killed Keliesie , He was the one true heir to the iron throne
Yeah it should start right where season 8 ended. And they better treat Jon well in the spinoff and amend all their mistakes otherwise be ready for backlash n more
Longest running episode of the Maury show
And Ned had every intention of fulfilling the promise he made to Jon the last time he saw him. He said, "when we see again we'll talk about your mother" because Jon would be a Brother of the Night's Watch and out if Robert's reach.
This is the moment Jon decided that he don't want IT
This was me fav moment of the final series
MIND BLOWN. Though I read the first book and figured. The actors play this part excellent.
Kit harrington
N then u remember when he 1st met Danny...all he had on his name was just king in the north..:p
Yeah 👍
This is Jon Snow, Aegon of Houses Targaryen and Stark, the first of his name, King of the Andals, the Rhyonar, and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm, Friend of the Freefolk, Unsullied and Dothraki, the Resurrected White Wolf, the Prince that was Promised and Bringer of Dawn, Song of Ice and Fire.
@@11more40 One true king ❤
I really wanted him to get his own Dragon. Hopefully in the last book IF IT EVER GETS WRITTEN Drogon will come back to him.
"No matter how big the neighborhood gets... we're still family"
👉🏻👈🏻
Jon does that move of a few steps back when he sees Sansa again at Castle Black.
...he still is a Stark, just not in name. Also, he's the first cousin of the Starks!
What a trip to lay on this poor guy! What a Mind blower. No preparation just OMG!
A sad ending that should have ended otherwise 😑
Only your best friend will tell you the truth. No one else cares enough about you to do so.
Jon and Samwell best friends forever 💓
I don't know why I still feels goosebumps.
Jon Snow effect, his character was so likeable, and he was deprived of everything in starting even his life but slowly regained everything and then loose it all and back to square 1
Robert would have killed him with prejudice.... even if the marriage to Rhegar was not hidden. Robert was OBSESSED with Lyanna
Yeah , hope we get to see his prejudiced one sided love affair on tv
Robert was not obsessed with Lyanna.
The reason the Rebellion happened was becasue Rhaegar disappeared with Lyanna and the Mad King killed half of her family when they tried to protest it.
The Mad King then ordered Jon Arryn to kill Robert and Ned. Jon refused, smuggled them to their homes, and started the rebellion.
Wow Danny really shot her own foot here
Stop burning people. 😅😅😅
"New caption... was Lyanna Stark" *gasp*
😂😂😂😂 my mistake
"You're the true king."
D&D:
"Whatevs"
We could’ve had such a great continuation of this storyline but we got nothing but madness.
A wonderful moment in a wonderful story ❤
I really hoped they have put more effort in keeping it so but no, they reduced it to nothing
Curious to see if they actually do a sequel with him north of the wall.
Yes they are doing the spinoff, the dead queen (Emilia Clarke) has confirmed it in an interview...
One of my favorites shows
My favorite part is when he was finally named king, killed the Night King, all of it.
And yet Sam never brings this up at the end or Jon, he kills Danny and instead of going, I’m the king, fuck you bran. Nahh, just let him walk off into the woods. Waste of such potential
Sam was as poorly written as Jon snow 😐
So Sad for him because he then realized that him and D was related.(he realized that he slept with his kin)
Poor Jon 😕
Eh, it’s kind of the Targaryen’s thing. I tried to understand their family tree recently, and 3 hours later, was more confused than when I started.
🎼 I am my own grandpa 🎶
@@JenniferSteil28 True, your so right
I was one of the many people who actually read the books. I would watch the program while thinking either that's wrong or it will shock people when they eventually find out😀😃😄
If only "all of it" was improvised and not scripted, it would have been perfect.
The Aegon Targaryen must have been crowned king of seven kingdom. This show proved all prophesies of being Aegon as king wrong.
Yeah maybe they right this wrong in the upcoming jon snow spinnoff
Aegon Targaryen Jon the Queen slayer
Sounds funny...queen Slayer...killer of the mother of dragons....this one has some vibe
I could have gone without knowing this with the way it ended
He's like oh snap I hope I didn't knock up my aunt
Its the "All of it" part that gets me
This was one of the biggest revelations in the whole series. And then.....nothing.
You mean my brother, Bran the chairman, he is the king.
Meanwhile Vaemond: THAT is not true Targaryen.
This scene always gets me teary-eyed... 😢
Jon was robbed!
It was at this point they should have said he was the prince that was promised and gave him the dagger
But Danny was too ambitious and wanted to conquer the world bla bla bla...it was Dnd
Damn good series. True art.
Still with that ending included it is a damn good series
Me encanta...que vaya el vamos para esta serie....
This was awesome
The thing they just completely don’t talk about is he took the vow to go to the wall. He relinquished all titles. It’s literally one of the main reasons why going to wall is punishment. You are banished. So bloodline… yea he was the king. But a true man of honor would’ve stuck to that vow. If Ned Stark said the words he would’ve followed them, regardless of bloodline.
Jon Snow served the Night’s Watch until his death. His path is fulfilled.
Remember that one time this was relevant information to the core plot line of this show? Good times…
I couldn't wait for this revelation. It almost drove me mad!
I guess jon was the only targaryen who didn't wanted a throne but wanted to protect all people
No doubt Dany was grt but of all her main goal was iron throne
Year difference in opinions , different personalities altogather
I HATE that they made Jon’s true name Aegon. Rheagar already had a son named Aegon. Jon’s name should be Aemon in reference to one of his heroes Aemon the Dragonknight
I remember that scene. Awsome series.
Imagine Ned being such a boss that he risked his entire marriage, relationship with his wife to save his baby nephew's life...
