She’s a great old truck. The more I see it going down the road, the more I love it just the way it is. A truck like that is dead simple, reliable, and useful. If she were mine, I’d replace the tires, fix the lights and the heater, and use it just the way it is.

Great job on the “Binder”! I can tell you from experience, preservations can sometimes get way more attention and admiration than restorations. I would keep the truck and preserve it as is, the best you can.

Now you need to get a set of what my dad called cowboy "Sunday go to church" bed rails... simplified explanation, three horizontal wood slats that mount in the stake pockets, bottom slat full length down the bed, middle slat 2/3, and the upper slat is 1/3 the bed length.

The old girl drips with cool. Maintain her mechanically but leave the rust alone.
Would love to fill in the rust holes and paint match to keep the patina!

Repair all the rust and add it to the stable. If you can't or don't want to keep it, take it a little further, then sell it and use it to fund the channel's next project.

She is a cruiser. It's got to be a great feeling when you were driving it and people were enjoying as much as you were. As far as restoring it, seems everyone is incorporating the "patina" into the look. Finding decent body parts may be a challenge. She's a great old looking truck.
I've definitely been turning the world wide web upside down looking for some front fenders! Such a shame if I can't find them.
There is a channel 406 garage that does strictly internationals he may be able to give you a lead on some fenders

I grew up with that same pickup for a few years before it was sold/traded for a newer model Dodge D200. Ours had the big 6 cylinder engine with a three on the tree. Grind the rusty metal clean makes for a better weld. Sorry to see the eyebrow rust in the fenders. Well done with the fuel line repair. Great rig, keep it!
Hoping to find some donor fenders to fix those eyebrows. That's one of the best parts about the truck!

I have a 67 4x4 short box version of the same truck. I have the same experience when I take mine out for a drive. A lot of people tell me their grandpa had on of these cornbinders on the farm. Unless you're a huge die hard International fan, I'd either throw a new set of tires on it and drive it as -is or send it on down the line to someone willing to spend a lot of time and money making everything right. Parts, especially sheetmetal, are getting hard to find for these IH trucks.
Sheetmetal has definitely proven to be a problem! Such a bummer. A lot of guys out there that can make that stuff from scratch! Wouldn't that be a skill to have.
Classic vehicles are like boats. Best day of owning it is the day you pick it up. Second best day is the day you sell it. Love the video and great job as always! looking forward to the next one.

Man I have no clue what you should do with it really. Cause it is a super cool truck. But to even start making it "restored" would be a lot of work. So much rust on it. Would definitely love to see more of the truck though. I personally haven't ever seen one until you drug this thing out of the weeds.
Tough decision, isn't it! I think I'd like to keep doing some small things and see where we can get it.

@@NockRanch she is more of a rat rod look. Lowered old school with axles on top of the leaf springs. Pretty solid body,, bad paint. Still has the tired old BG220ci and 3 on the tree putting along. I would really love to see it with a 4BT Cummins and a 4 speed floor shift but my wallet disagrees

People LOVE old internationals. I've driven a scout 80 a few times recently and the amount of attention it gets is crazy. Even non car people like them.
As for yours I'd just leave it the way it is in terms of looks.
