That brought back a lot of memories… a lot of the equipment you shown is still being used on our farm

That's the first time that I have ever seen that photo of the 815 hi profile. My grandfather had a 1973 model it was the flagship of our farm for over 30 years. I have photos of it from the time it was brand new until we traded it in, it was on of the most stylish combine IH ever made with alot of extra tin covering the moving parts.

Enjoyed the video! I didn't realize some of the equipment and attachments were made back then.

Nice video. I sure liked the 1256 and 856 standard tractors pictured. They both had the narrow fenders. I also liked the LP 706 pictured working. It's interesting to see the transitions into the 1970s with the 815, 915 and 403 combine offered at the same time.

I really don't like them. They are hot and they are small. We had a really nice low hour 856 with a cab and we sold it because we hated the cab so much. The Wheatland fenders on the International tractors are very nice, and the flat top fenders on the Farmall tractors are also good.

An 815 with a v8 gas engine now that was a barn burner if you know what I mean.

    Cool brochure!
I'm trying to figure out the paint schemes on the tractors that year. Some had the side panel in front of the engine painted red, some white.
Was that international vs Farmall? Or certain models?

Also some of the photos may be of preproduction tractors before the actual series came out.

You have to be careful some of the photos are doctored and are not the right color. IH was good about using Old photos or retouched photos multiple times in the buyers guides.
