This video is exactly what I needed. Thank you! I ran the cable(s) on my old Ridgeline by taking the panels out of the box and it wasn’t that difficult, but my “new” Ridgeline has a tonneau cover which makes it pretty much impossible to run it that way. This way will be PERFECT. You are awesome!
Very nicely done! I wish I had watched your video before I installed one of these last year on my '07. I used similar parts with similar installation technique, however, your approach was better from a standpoint of protecting the wire and connection points from water or some other disaster. Installing a fuse at the rear of the wiring is a brilliant idea! That is something that I will do next month.
Good morning. I’m replacing the gps/ radio unit (the radio failed so I’m replacing the unit)the back up camera was working fine on the old unit, now I have hard time at the new unit camera hook up,wire from the camera as a yellow banana, with coax and red wire sticking out from the back of the banana. The new unit as 3 banana slots , 2 video out and one video in, so I should plug in into wideo in? And what about the red wire? Thank you
Would it be possible to add wireless transmitters to this instead of running wires all the way to the front? I've got the OEM camera but it doesn't have the guides and the picture it gets isn't that great. Have trouble if its cloudy outside or shadow from the back of the truck. I would probably add some doublesided sticky tape to the back of the camera to make sure it wouldn't move if the screws ever came loose somehow. Good idea to hide the wire. I was thinking of getting stick on wire clips but they might come off too easily. I was thinking conduit would be in order to run the cables safely. I have to put it on my computer wires bc cats are jerks.

Unfortunately it comes in and out of production. I have previously reached out to the distributor and they don't have an ETA of when it will be available again. It is the best camera I have used. It's a shame it isn't more readily available. I have never had one fail yet.

I have not had any luck with the wireless setups. They usually are very susceptible to interference and a grainy picture, so I don't use them.
Can you provide a link to what in-line fuse holder I should use?
Any in line fuse holder will work just fine.
Will this work with an OEM head unit with Navigation? if not can you recommend a system?
