Heads up! This was a long recording and has an abrupt ending! Sorry about that!
👍
I forgive you 😂😋
Edit: for legal purposes I am teasing you 😉
No worries, gurl. It makes for a good cliffhanger, and cliffhangers are great!
Nah, it's all good.
@@JJ_Rliteral cliffhanger, lol
Maya throwing hands with a lady in the gallery is something I'd *love* to see.
Forgot to say this on the last episode, but I love that Sadmadhi went out of his way to make a pun name for this guy who didn't know his actual name
What no this is no pun. It's a real Kura'inese name. How dare.
it's probably kura'inese for "john doe"
Damn I can't say I wouldn't like Franziska to give me lawyeritis
That would be quite painful though...
@@nettojms5083 that's why they sedate you during surgeries, includng top surgery
Mia definitely had lawyer-tits… I mean itis.
Ah, good old Anohn Ihmus. Definitely a reliable witness with that name.
Anohn Ihmus TBD!
To be fair I think the government gave him that name. Like in America unknown persons are John Doe or Jane Doe.
I like Maya's attempt to quiet down the audience's slander of Phoenix by doing a cheerleading chant. She might not be a lawyer but she still fights against injustice in any way she can.
Just the flat way you said, "Birdwatching my fucking ass, sir." 😂
Also Ihmus just makes me think of Robin Williams when he pops back out of Jumanji 🌿
I just realized that Ihmus reminds me of Larry Butz, and now I'm even more annoyed with him.
Ya, it’s not even a stretch or a spoiler to confirm that he is indeed Khura’inese Larry Butz.
Give him a defense attorney childhood friend and then it’d be almost impossible to deny.
As someone who never played the game, I kept expecting him to say "Hey, Nick, don't ya recognize me" and it turned out he was Larry.
19:44
Man, the people of this country hate lawyers so much that they believe you're trying to frame an unreliable amnesiac with some of the dumbest testimonies ever.
A variation on Lucah's catchphrase when dealing with perjury witnesses.
"Khura'inese Judge Judy would have none of this!"
Her magistry judge Juh'dee
@@flowersandchocolate14 is she also from the earth kingdom 😂
@@lamegamesunanimous3445Is she asked often the words “do the thing?”
@@runningoncylinders3829 does she also take frequent vacations to a lake😂
@@flowersandchocolate14 Or Joo Dee, if you want an ATLA reference
Ihmus as the Swedish chef is perfect.
You can't have an Ace Attorney game without at least one witness who tells nothing but lies!
Loved lucah's "NOOO! D:" when the witness started eating lizards! XD
18:47 is another ridiculous rebuttal. phoenix just established that if he saw the shadows he was there. how he got there is irrelevant lmao, either he was there or the testimony is invalid
Nahyuta being, "an international prosecutor who has solved many cases," makes me wonder how many innocent lives he has falsely accused and have been imprisoned, or worse.
No worse than the von Karma offices or Chief Prosecutor Debeste.
To be fair, you could say the same about every prosecutor in the series. Hell, Nahyuta is one of the least corrupt in the series, hes just an asshole. He has shown himself to quite intelligent and fair, at least compared to people like Godot, Franziska or early Miles Edgeworth.
Other than Gavin, Nahyuta is currently the least corrupt prosecutor we've met. The laws themselves are the problem in this game.
@@darrenmcconville7762 Godot has not condemned any innocent lives. Not because he's smart and fair, but because prior to his coma, he was a defense attorney. And after his coma, he *specifically* went after cases Phoenix would perform, because his ulterior motive was testing Mia's replacement.
@@Rot8erConeX Okay, fair. I forgot that Godot only took Phoenix's cases. The rest of the points still stand though.
I can’t speak for anybody else, but Mr. Ihmus gets two thumbs-up from me!
Don’t forget to show your badge to everyone.
Wait a minute, a person using a paraglider that stops by a shrine whilst dressed in green?
Of course! This guy is Link!
5:01 What if after shaving the dude looked really handsome? Just a thought. 😅
He looks like handsome squidward
Maybe we will find out. Maybe we won't. Who ever could know. But right now he looks like a puppy
"Phoenix Wright is very trustworthy, I'll have you know! ...except for that one time where he lied to a witness to trick them into revealing that he was presenting the wrong piece of evidence. And that other time when he didn't check the source of a piece of evidence he was presenting at a key moment in a trial. And that other time when he-"
"Maya, please, stop, you're killing me."
Already enjoying this guy already are we lucah
Cant wait for the next one! ❤
3:39 Huh, it seems Mr. Ihmus is a Jack Frost fan! I can respect him for that :)
Phoenix has seen Spider-Man in MvC3.
Pretty unexpected accolade in comparison to Prof Layton.
HERE WE GO
I unexpectedly enjoy following these royal shenanigans along a lot. I feel like new stakes really make trials more engaging!
23:40 I'm so glad we can be reminded of Mia and her big, perky personality in our time of need.
Next time, I assume we will narrow it down that he's an escaped convict from the prison but still seen as some sort of reliable witness.
Good lord, Sahdmadhi, not even Winston Payne would mess up this bad unless you are purposely trying to be Manfred Von Karma!
If only you knew how crazy this case was... 😅
2:22 A 'poniponi-ish' moutain? Sounds like the mountain where Canterlot rests in Friendship is Magic, lol
3:08 It's an occupational hazard of being an attorney in this universe: you always encounter witnesses who are either weird or annoying, sometimes both, lol
8:07 Not that it matters, because when has anyone on the witness stand ever been charged for perjury in this series?
I _have_ to wonder where A'nohn is pulling all those grilled lizards from…
Probably the same place Godot kept getting his coffee from :)
Does anyone know the upload schedule? When can we expect the next video? ❤
I AM BIG FAN!!!
A witness who can’t remember anything sounds familiar I wonder who he reminds me of I can’t remember anything at all
Same here. I forget things in literal seconds.
Reminds me of my grandma who often forgets where she is.
Spoilers are not welcome even when spoilers are not welcome!
Am I the only one who was real confused on the shadow thing? Like I thought that he was saying he saw the shadow on the *far curtain*, since y’know that’s where the shadow would be cast, but I guess he was saying he saw the shadow on the west curtain? Which doesn’t make much sense if he didn’t mean he saw the silhouettes through the curtain, but that’s not what I thought he meant. I was genuinely stumped when Phoenix said he couldn’t see the shadow when I’m like, yes he could??? (Y’know ignoring the fact that he’s at a lower elevation which for some reason DID NOT GET BROUGHT UP AT ALL)
23:40 I'm glad it wasn't just me who read that as Lawyer Tits! 😂
ayyyyyyyyyyyy carumba….. this part is my fave…
700 million years of torment sure are absurdly long but hey, at least is better than "For all eternity" like other religions
Mucinex lucah, Mucinex
why the hell is there a fortress-like prison way up high on a steep mountain peak...
above a sacred to its country, religious prayer place?!
Can I say that Nahyuta is the most fair prosecutor I've seen in these games. He doesn't play underhanded games with the witnesses and actually get angry when they lie or obstruct the truth.
What about klavier
i wouldn't "calm myself"
these people keep being disrespectful towards fee-fee,
they're insisting on pinning a crime on someone (i presume to be) innocent,
and the judge himself is letting sadman's witness continually get away with shitty testimony!
"hell _no_ i ain't calmin a **fuckin'** thing!!"
I really like this witness, one of my favorite characters in this game. And they really write it in so smoothly how he gets his memory back at this part. Of course, it's also funny just how much more clear the picture does become coming up. Truly the hero we need.
Not certain why, but the witness reminds me larry butz...no clue why
This country is aggravating
Screw Khurian
I absolutely love Ahnon Ihmus. I can’t say exactly why yet, as that is spoilers for the story, but I will say that he reminds me a lot of Dan Hibiki from Street Fighter.
I'm hoping that Ihmus gets better because right now this testimony is a contender for worst testimony in the entire series. Even Larry Butz gave testimonies that were more coherent and less brazenly false.
Confirmed Ihmus is a brony. Goes to Mt. Poni-Poni and everything.
This LP is a lifesaver. I usually make random squeaky noises when you upload lol. It's how I get by nowadays
Ihmus is a hot bear btw :3
I think this is my least favorite testimony in the whole AA series... for reasons that will be apparent by the end of the case.
23:30 “They are no better than bacteria or viruses.” Yup, that joke DEFINITELY aged well.
8:37 Because Nahyuta is not a nice person. His job is to take the first person they arrest, and make damn sure that they get a guilty verdict.
"Who is this guy?"
The best character in the game, nay the *trilogy*, that's who!
20:21 dont know who has seen hazbin hotel but maya here is giving me major Charlie telling off susan vibes lol
Gotta be honest, I know the series has always had the thing where the prosecution gets to do basically whatever they want, while Phoenix and the other defense attorneys have to fight for every little bit of leeway, but in this game in particular I feel like it's gotten a little overbearing (I know part of that is the setting, but still). Hearing Nahyuta lecture for 5-10 dialogue boxes about why Phoenix's soul is destined for eternal torment when you've already figured out hours ago exactly how to break the witness's testimony apart is just tiring. Like I wish there was a button just to tell him to shut up and listen.
I'd rather listen to religious dribble than be scalded or whipped.
it's what i've come to expect from the "b-team" games. i'm going through the GAA games and the dialogue is so much tighter than in DD and SoJ. they still have stuff like this for comedic effect ofc but it's limited to the beginning of the games, to get a feel for the characters.
First
Well I'm not into guys, but I think Nayutha is lame and boring, Ihmus seems goofy and funny, much better husbando material I think.
Wow seeing this reminds me why I got so frustrated with this case, you know what the answer technically is but there’s something that will just mess with you
