You're sawing exactly the same type of logs I am, and I too have been frustrated with the log dogs and stops. I'll be anxiously watching to see what your your final version looks like. The only problem is I don't have any metal working equipment, but I could possibly have something fabricated from a picture. I really think Frontier should address this and offer alternate dog points.
Your stationary blade holder seems to wobble around on camera. Might want to modify something to hold it tighter? I know that they make this stuff as cheap as possible.
Thanks for pointing that out. It drives me crazy to see that when I’m editing. Although it appears to be loose, it’s actually flexing with the cut. I think I’m going to have to make a brace for it. Maybe I’ll bring it into the shop in the next cold spell and figure that out before the metal fatigues and it breaks off. I’ve already had to rebuild the sliding stop.
Good stuff I'm always trying to come up with things to make it easier to mill smaller stuff myself
It seems we all are! I’ve got a solid idea that will make it really easy. Just going to need some time to fabricate it. Stay tuned!

Maybe I should start selling this stuff! Lol!
