@@sa9861 We can criticise the govt. In China, every city has a mayor hotline and mayor platform. If people are dissatisfied with something, they just make this phone call. If a problem is reported more than three times, a dedicated team needs to handle it. And a response must be given within three days. My son's school has been reported for evening self-study. The principal was invited to have a conversation. I am in Beijing and have called the mayor's hotline in Chengdu city because Panda Fu Wan has been staying inside for 1 months. The specialized agency in Chengdu provided me with the followup. In the West, it is common to make appointments and wait for a long time before seeing a doctor. If this had occurred in China, it would have been reported countless times. The rectification must have been carried out in the hospital.
@@sa9861 you can, ppl complain about the gov on social media, you just can't organize protests to overthrow the government or go online and start social media groups about taking down the gov. You can't have insurrection like jan 6 or start a movement to take down the gov...
Han Chinese ppl had lived in that region since the time of Christ, Han dynasty. Urigurs were actually migrants from Central Asia who moved here in the 1700s. They only constitute 45% of the population.
Uyghur is a mixed ethnicity that formed during Tibetan rule of the region around 900~1000AD. The Tibetan ruling class were ruthless so the Tocharians, Han, Tuckics and even Tibetan peasants banded together to resist the inhumane treatment from the Tibetan nobilities. So it would be incorrect to call them immigrants as they have ancestries pre-date the formation of their ethnicity. It’s less the ethnicity moved there after Han dynasty but Islam moved there during the few centuries where China didn’t rule the region.
@@rickfeng4466 You are wrong. There was no Islam in Xinjiang before the Tang Dynasty. In 60 BC, the Han Dynasty defeated the Xiongnu Empire and the remnants of the Xiongnu fled westward. The Han people officially ruled Xinjiang and the rule lasted until the Tang Dynasty. The Tang Dynasty not only ruled Xinjiang, but also ruled today's Kazakhstan and other Central Asian regions. In 751 AD, the Tang Dynasty went to war with the Arab Empire in Hajj, Kazakhstan. The Tang army was defeated and Islam began to enter China. Before the Tang Dynasty, the Han people ruled Xinjiang. Soon after the war between the Tang Dynasty and the Arab Empire, both empires began to split and weaken. In 763 AD, the Anshi Rebellion broke out in the Tang Dynasty and lost control of Xinjiang. A thousand years later, the Qing Dynasty ruled Xinjiang. Later, the Han people overthrew the Manchu rule, established the Republic of China and today's People's Republic of China, and continued to manage Xinjiang.
In Xi'An, my wife's hometown, there are lots of Muslim people living there as well. They work hard to run their small business. They are honest and happy. China is actually one of the most multicultural countries in the world. And diversity and coexit is our significant core value.

Xinjiang is the largest province of China. The total population of Uyghurs, who are the Muslims has grown from 3.5 Million in 1949 to 12 Millions in 2023. The land area is 1/16 of China's total area. The province is an autonomous region and the Hans are the minority race here.
@@jeremyxu8155 The Han population has also grown so that it now mirrors the Uighur population in percentage terms 42-44% in 2021.
So the CPC is reverse genociding??
The chinese are not doing a good at "ge no side" unlike US,UK they are the real master of ge no side, on multiple continents and even today both are funding gaz an ge no side!
1/6 of China's land area.
1/6 of China, not 1/16. There are 49 different ethnic groups living in Xinjiang now.
Super fantastic video. Really makes me want to go there.
One of my favourite videos about Xinjiang, nice editting, music, narratives....we hope you guys can make more of such videos
I am a South African who visited Kazakhstan as a tourist one month ago. This place is definitely giving me Kazakh vibes.
There are Kazakhs living in Xinjiang. And yes, there are a lot common things, food, costume, culture in that region, across different ethnics.
Yes their facial feature is a bit chinese a bit european
All the TAN countries tajik, Uzbekistan, Kazakh etc etc
@@keangwooichoo6138 it's central asian, not european, european would be like the hutchinsons, europeans evolved from central asians
What a peaceful place ❤thanks for the lovely video I'm really considering a visit to it thanks
Great video reference for my trip coming december
Uyghurs' spoken and written language is Turkic. the Turks' forebears were Central Asians marauders. they were driven out from Xinjiang (New Frontiers) during Tang dynasty.
Thank you The Hutchinsons family for making this video. It is important that the western world understand that Muslim in China can practice their religion freely without any problem. Unlike some western media who make false allegation against the Chinese Government that there are concentration camp to keep the Muslim. The western media should report more on the middle east now especially GAZA !! Long live CHINA
Very good coverage and thanks for telling truth to the world
Lots of love to every Chinese people ❤
I love China so muchhhhh 😭✨
Such a lovely family. God bless you, and thank you for showing us the real side of Xinjiang.
Live your video. Great job!
Much respect to you two as parents who are opening their children’s minds and eyes to the truth about the world & different cultures, instead of relying on mainstream media to teach them about it. And thanks a lot for showing us the truth about an area that we thought was too dangerous to visit. Lots of love & respect ❤
MashaAllah nice to meet my brother Muslims in PRC China, good work with your beautiful family all the best
my god,the little fairies so cute
I personally really love the way 'you guys' travel as a family... defiantly reminds me when I was 'a wee lad' travelling with my parents and siblings, exploring, learning and experiencing new and different things. Awesome! ♥
the chinese government is not against muslims or uyghurs. they're against you only if you're against them, no matter you're muslim or christian or buddhist or falungong, they don't discriminate. but as long as you're not against the government you do whatever you want in peace.
Right, so I can’t criticise the govt then?
This is my first time seeing this beautiful family,May God bless you all
So devoloped muslim state .👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽❤❤❤
Han Chinese ppl had lived in that region since the time of Christ, Han dynasty.
You have given the children a broad perspective and let them know what the truth is. This is of endless benefit
Wonderful & Amazing Muslims in China 🇨🇳 💚
