How does this compare to the Alpinestars Gp Plus R V3 ?
Seriously, why only CE level 1 armor ? Level 2 should be built-in for these jackets.
Disagree on the sizing, wear a 50 normally with the Tech-Air 5 had to go to a 54. The module on the back of the airvest is like a small racing suit hump, 1.5" (4cm) airbag deploy clearance is needed and the 54 does that. The top fits perfect waist adjusters take up some of the oversize issue but they could do a better job there.
I agree. I wear a 54. But I have long arms. I had to go 56

Humid and 100° is a normal Sumer for me, is this enough air flow or will I get sticky?
My Klim air induction in pushing 80,000miles so I’ll replace it with this or the induction pro.
If you are coming from Textile / Mesh jacket for that weather in the summer, you are going to be much much hotter in a leather jacket regardless of perforation. If airflow is your main concern, sticking w/ a Mesh jacket like the Klim Induction might be the best route for you.

My chest and waist measurements are 100cm & 92cm respectively, i don't intend to use this with the Tech Air 5 system. Should i get a Euro size 52 or 50?
Size 50 should be the best fit after the jacket has relaxed and broken in.
@@RevZilla Would size 50 work if I intend to fully spec the jacket out with the nucleon flex back and chest protectors?
Is it good for winter?
Depends on your winter. Better than textile mesh, but not as good as non perforated leather.
will i be hot and sweaty in the summer?
What are you guys talking about,no waterproof Napoleon pocket?
The Alpinestars YT channel has a video on this jacket and they say the pocket is waterproof?
Can promise you they are mistaken, the pocket is made with mesh and therefore cannot be WP. Alpinestars also labels their WP pockets with a bright red zipper and a tag that says "Waterproof" when it is. You can see that in our other videos. Must've just been a mistake by their video crew 🤷♂

Why do the models wearing these jackets look like they can’t move
Sport jackets are meant to be comfortable in the riding position, not really designed for standing upright and modeling in a studio. Same reason why MotoGP racers look odd when standing upright in their race suits, they are designed to be on the bike and riding more than anything else.
