Thank you so much for this very honest and detailed presentation of all of the parts that have to come together and function well in order to run a shop. I did an experiment to see if I could make a lot of pots by a certain date, giving myself plenty of time. Guess what? It was NOT plenty of time! And I was STRESSED OUT and it wasn't even real! I am so grateful that I learned that lesson on my own. I would love to see a part 2!!
Ayyyee I was the first customer. Definitely my favorite coffee mug. Went to Dallas for the Taylor swift concert.. fell asleep after the 1st song.. had fun tho.
As someone with a degree in art I dont recommend college. I went and thankfully here college is cheap and i didnt end up in debt but if you are going to end up in debt dont go to college for art. I have learnt so much from youtube.
I like this, really positive, really good and realistic explanation of the dance between artistic inspiration and business, or the money of art. One tip, when you feel the lord has given you your shop, or the devil takes it away, OK. But also please consider that all things are interdependent/ it means that all things originate dependent on causes and conditions. Enjoy!!!!! Actually, there is endless beauty and endless complexity in all things....
Hello! I’m a sculptor in DFW who is still is looking for spaces that welcome my art. How did you find these spaces? I’ve yet to have a successful show as the spaces weren’t accommodating to potters. I also want to know how you were able to secure commissions. TYSM!

Finally, a potter entrepreneur with a brain. Great video man, but I wish you didn't spend so much time begging people to not be dumb. Lol

Thanks for watching :)
Do you have suggestions for finding apprenticeships?
people are so desperate because they need to do anything other than be extremely burnt out and slave away 40ish hours a week for some loser
And if you do it the wrong way. Youll be burnt out trying to do this just as fast if not faster
