Actually, it's closer to the 556. The 556 has a 38.5mm case, 656 is bigger. Same dial, though. I had a 556 and was not impressed with the movement for the price I paid. I've had Seamasters, Speedmasters, Submariners, Seadwellers, etc. My passion shifted gears years ago when my Rolex was stolen out of my hotel room safe. I decided that I would focus more on the cheaper timepieces so I wear an SKX instead of a Submariner and I sold the Sinn 556 and bought this little gem from Berny and couldn't be more pleased. I might even buy another.
I just got two of the Sinnful version. One for me; one for my wife. The dial is fantastic. We got one from AliExpress with no brand. The second from Amazon with BERNY on the dial. She didn’t seem to want to express a preference, as hers was a gift. But she did say she liked the BERNY on her other titanium (same model - white dial) so I put the BERNY one in her watch box. Now for my only concern: the titanium bracelet rattles. This is when I just hold the watch by the case and shake it. Haven’t sized them yet, so I can’t say if the rattling translates to the on the wrist experience. I doubt it will, and I know I won’t care. This Berny will be a strikingly handsome beater watch with a bulletproof crystal. I love it. Your review ratified my confidence in my purchase. Thanks.
This is a great size and super legible. If only the crown was a bit bigger! This really is a great GADA watch! I can live with the lume and the water resistance. Hope you are doing well bro!
Funny I complain about the like but…when the watch is in my wrist, it’s oriented to a degree. The real issue is how groogy am I at 4am and is that orientation still working in my foggy mind! Take care Johan. Have a great day. Stay well.
@@Realidealgear I hear you bro! That makes total sense to me and it certainly is a valid point especially considering how great the loom was on their pilot watch. That's why I have a huge digital display clock so that I can see what going on haha! I hope you have a blessed day and that whatever you touch will prosper! Stay awesome Brother!
I love the deep black dial in contrast with the white hands and the red seconds hand as an accent. No lume other than on the hands is a deal breaker. No matter how inexpensive i no longer want to spend money on something I am not satisfied with. I have the Casio MRW-200 which has very poor lume but this case it is $20 and I love the overall look of it. So, I do make exceptions.
It’s a hell of a watch for the price. I think we should just call it the Berny Ranger or Berny Explorer. I can’t imagine there will be a problem with that. 🤔 Thanks for the great review!
Absolutely. It’s doable because it’s quartz the adjusting of the time is minimal. Daylight savings time is the only time I complain. Otherwise it’s spot on. Thanks for watching.
Looks like an amazing watch for the money, just not sure how I feel about "Berny" as a brand name. Off topic, can I ask where your opening theme music comes from?
Old radio show in MN. My dad listened to it and…and so I had to. It a nod to my dad. The songs name is ‘What do ya mean you lost your dog.’ Thanks for watching.
Thank you Tim for another interesting video. I think Berny has put lume on the markers of that particular model. They offer a variety of choices. I'll check your video about "the chunky factor". I wasn't aware about that ratio. On my side, I have to deal with "the wife factor": 'you have 5 watches so it's enough'. Ah! Ah! Ah! Keep up the good work. Bonjour from Montreal !
Thank you for watching. Here’s what I know about the lume on the markers regarding the model I reviewed (and variants with the same model number) in this video and other similarly designed Berny Watches with different model numbers. AMT143 model has lume on the hands but that is the explorer styled watch. The watch I reviewed T2576 does not have lume on the markers and the other variants of this model do not have lume on the markers. They make a full lume dial version but does not have lumed markers, just the handset. There is another model sharing the exact case and crown location and is the Type B Flieger style with lume on the markers T2566. The T2576 model doesn’t have lume on the markers.
Sinn 656. Great review, thanks for all the good work you put in.
That’s what I was thinking as well. Thank you and have a great week!
N... Wayyy cheaper too. 😁

@@timmmax Well shared indeed mate. Who said that Great watches must come with even Greater price tags? Oh yes, Rolex.
So good it's a 'Sinn'.
Clever! 😆👌
That’s what I think.
Indeed. Makes one wonder... For such generic dials...
Do we really have to pay so much... To Sinn?
Upgrades needed but I love it. Hanging for V2 with 3 o clock larger screw in crown 👍👍👍👍
That’s a great upgrade idea!

You’re welcome my friend. I’m glad the watches are working. For the price…not perfect…but a great value as you’ve said. Have a great week!

That’s a great Casio! I’m ok with the watch overall. I simply do get why they didn’t lume the 12, 3, 6, 9. That would’ve done it for me.
I have the full lume dial and I was shocked at how much I liked it. It is a great grab and go!
I was strongly considering that dial…glad to see it’s an outstanding performer! Have a great weekend.
Agree about the crown. From an Aussie. Appreciate your reviews. Stay healthy.
Thank you! Stay well and keep in touch.
Just picked this one up myself.
Agree about the lum .... Crown isn't too much of an issue for me.
The crown only bothers for daylight savings adjusting. Other than that, I really like this watch. Thanks for watching.

Great name choices! It’s a great value for sure. Thanks for watching and commenting. Always appreciated my friend.
I wish the crown is at 3 o'clock and larger - that would have been perfect for me.

Bring the lume, Berny! 😂
When they have it, it’s well done. Thanks for watching. Hope all is well with you Witt. Take care and have a great week.
Looks a lot like a Sinn 556A, doesn’t it?
Is say so! Thanks for watching.
Other reviewers claim there is AR.
Ther is an inner coating.

You can also get it unbranded.

@@Realidealgear that is really cool 😎 thanks for the answer!
This is Quartz not Mecha-quartz which would be a Quartz time with Mechanical Chronograph watch.
Excellent point

Yep!!
