Glad I could help. This is why we make videos. Appreciate the feedback
This video is fantastic. Thank you for doing what google couldn't. If I am going to be adding multiple users, is it best practice to set up the TXT, SPF, DMARK, and DKIM records before adding all the accounts?
@@chloetopf374 your welcome. At minimum you should add the Mx records first before adding users. But if it were me, first add all records and then users
@@onescales thank you!

What if we want to transfer the domain to another hosting company. Do we have to change the email address? Or will it affect previous emails?
If you transfer domain to another host but still want Google to host the emails which is what most do then just check that the dns records on new registrar you transferred over as well. If you want a new system for emails then you will have to follow their steps . Let me know if this makes sense
@@onescales So which means I will just update the DNS records on the new domain? Because I want to still use Google.

Hi, I have a doubt if I configure the workspace mx records on the domain provider, without deleting the old mx records of the other mail provider, will the emails that I have not yet added to the workspace be sent to the old mail provider? Thanks
You have to delete the old Mx records as you can only have one set of the new google workspace
I have multiple emails set up on my domain. Do i need to add all these in dmarc record. Please reply
Dmarc is only to be done per domain not per email address
@@onescales Thanks a lot for your quick response. I am grateful 🙏🙏

If I added prior DKIM, SPF and DMARC TXT records for a domain do I need to delete them if I'm using the domain for a different email platform?
it will depend. in general you should only have 1 BUT if you have multiple systems that send on your behalf (for example your mail provider, your email newsletters) you might have multiple TXT records. Note that DMARC record will always be one. If you are not sure, you can share more information and we can try to help
@@onescales Thanks for the reply. Can I send you a NotePad file or a Screenshot of my CPanel TXT Records? I'm still getting errors. Do you have an email I can send to? Thxs

After setting up my DKIM, Google Workspace is saying Email authentication was not verified even though i've waited for a good amount of time, do you know how to fix it?
Can you share your setup details? The domain?
any update ?
I use Hover for my DNS and when I try to copy the TXT record for DKIM, it says it's too long.
Try to contact hover customer service
Hello , my domain and hosting from namecheap and i use cloudflare name server in my domain. So when i was setting up my google workspace it’s verifying my domain it ask to set google TXT in DNs record. So in namecheap i was not found the dns record update option. And it’s says change the dns to namecheap basic dns . When I change it to namecheap basic dns then i found the option to put txt records. But my cloudflare name servers are removed because of I change it to custom nameserver to namecheap basic dns . For this reason my website is not working 😢
You can only have one dns records with txt records. In your case, namecheap will point DNS to cloudflare (via the NS records) only. Then you will setup ALL your records in cloudflare. When you add a new record in cloudflare, see the dropdown menu which you can type TXT or scroll down the dropdown menu to find it. Make sure that you have all records that a website needs. A record, TXT, MX, etc. If you want more help, just post more details.
