She's NOT What You Think - Herrscher of Rebirth Explained | Honkai Impact 3rd

- After HoYoverse announced that Herrscher of Rebirth Seele would become a new battlesuit in version 6.8 of Honkai Impact 3rd, a lot of people were confused. As far as we knew, all the Honkai Energy on Earth is being siphoned to the Moon by Kiana, so a new Herrscher should've been impossible.
Despite that, HoYoverse cleverly brought forth a new “Herrscher” while keeping true to their established plot points at the end of Part 1. In fact, Herrscher of Rebirth is not really even a Herrscher. I mean… she is… but not in the traditional sense. In this video, I’m going to explain everything you need to know about Herrscher of Rebirth Seele, including how she came to be, what are her powers, and why is she not considered a NORMAL Herrscher like the rest.
This video also goes over the events of the most recent story arc and talks about some of the most important plot points, with a particular focus on Dark Seele's (Veliona) development as a character and how her relationship with Seele and the people around her changed and allowed her to grow.

Ok… So this will be a long pinned comment. I want to properly explain some things that I believe I didn't address sufficiently in the video, and offer a bit more context.
First, during the video, I said that a Herrscher Core and an Imaginary Singularity are the same thing. In essence, an Imaginary Singularity is a fixed point through which Imaginary/Honkai energy is brought from Imaginary Space into "reality". Chapter 17 confirmed that Imaginary Singularities and Herrscher Cores are related, having the Imaginary Singularity from Nagazora be a result of Mei's first awakening as HoT. During Chapter 17, Mei uses the same singularity to gather Honkai Energy and becomes HoT again. Then, in Chapter 26, we learn that each Herrscher Core has an Imaginary Singularity from Telsa and Einstein. Better put, the Core is the singularity itself. But… even so, Chapter 17 shows that an Imaginary Singularity can also exist as a fixed point in space without being a Herrscher Core necessarily. While not that big of a difference, I wanted to point out that all Herrscher Cores are Imaginary Singularities, but not all Imaginary Singularities are necessarelly Herrscher Cores. (although all of them are associated with the awakening of one as far as we've seen)
The second thing that I wanted to talk about is the relationship between the Cocoon of Finality and Sa. During the video, I said that both Sa and the Cocoon can change the laws of the worlds/bubble worlds that they inhabit. And while they explicitly say that a being "on par with the Cocoon" can do it, we've never seen the Cocoon "change" the laws of the real world to the extent that Sa did to the Bubble Worlds of the Sea. Since they didn’t go too much into detail about this, it could have something to do with the fact that the worlds on the Imaginary Tree are more stable and their "laws are fixed", and this only applies to the Bubble Worlds. But, both the Cocoon and Sa, put in place "a system" that can do certain things regardless if it's the Tree or the Sea. For example, creating Herrschers.
Third. When I talk about Herrscher cores, I also mention that they don't necessarily manifest inside the body of a host and gave Sirin's Gems as an example. After thinking a bit, I realized that Sirin was "technically" the host, so that example isn't the best. All the Cores from the CE formed inside a host as far as we know. It is only after the original host dies, that the Core can become "masterless", a trait that is specific only to the Cores of the CE.
It is good to mention that not only the two Seeles had a character growth but also to Susannah and co..
To the last point , I wanna point out HoC , which birth as literal virus and not inside people and have no core found when defeated

@@muhamadrizkyanandathe video already explains that IMG singularity doesn't necessarily needs a host, it could manifested in different shapes or forms depending on the "shadow".
Also, HoC is not masterless, per se. In PE, HoC cores are dormant under Rin's body as a "host", or in this case, a seal, and propagates after she died. In CE, it latches onto Mei as temporary host and propagates to ER system after she re-enters.
The real reason why the Herrscher of Rebirth can exist is because instead of being sealed, the Honkai is being Seele'd

@@skistorm739 for now, we don’t really have quantum singularities, unless perhaps “portals” like the Eye of the Deep count. And imaginary and quantum energy are opposite and equal, so merging the energies would most likely induce an annihilation reaction, not unlike matter-antimatter annihilation reactions.

i always thought that since seele became a herrscher in a bubble universe instead of the original hi3 universe she had a different source power, and thus the moon could not take hers
Yeah, the Honkai Energy in Bubble Worlds from the Sea is not affected by the siphoning of Finality. They only needed to find a substitute for the Cocoon itself, which they found through Sa.

Many seem to not realize that the core actually goes to Veliona (which implying it is from imaginary)but veli subconsciously rejected it.Then,the core goes to Seele and decided to choose her as it's host

One thing i noticed about is their sig weapon, all Herrscher have 'Key' on their weapon names and 'Domain' in their PRI-ARM variants

not just any simple name either, but a name that has a connection to Honkai Star rail. Now whether the inclusion of Path in the name is coincidental or on purpose, who knows.
To be brutally honest, i love this Seele's arc more than the herrscher trio arc because of a number of reasons. Its more simplified, but does not feel cheap.
Something left out was the differentiating nature of Seele's core and the cores of the Cocoon.
The ones from the Cocoon were not true cores, rather projections of the Cocoon that as a result were not static in location in space, which is why Senti was unable to be used as an anchor for the bubble worlds and they needed another option such as a SoQ born Herrscher or the Cocoon itself in the first place.
Seele as a Herrscher is more similar to Herrschers from GGZ. In GGZ each Herrscher core is an independent one that with no relation to others. Seele's core has no connection to other cores and is its own static point in space that does not change, which is why it was able to be used for anchoring the worlds. Birthing the core in SoQ allowed it to be seperete from other systems that would prevent its independence, which is why the option was put on the table.
Another thing is that it has been stated that the Authority of the Herrscher of Death can manipulate souls to some extent, and while it can not bring them back after they have degraded and are no more, if they are still relatively in tact they can be latched onto a body to survive, which is how Seele brought everyone back.

I don't think that many people complained about authority of Death that cannot resurrect people, it was questions about authority of Life that Seele got with it(that's why Life+Death = Herrscher of Rebirth)

It would have been interesting. If the Elysian Realm still existed, and it had the flame chasers data, could she have theoretically created new bodies and revived the flame chasers that way?
This is a great video that highlights the whole purpose behind the Dance of Life and Death story arc very well. I think it's a shame that a subset of fans write the whole arc and Seele's development off as being "too little too late" just because it didn't happen during Part 1. Because the developers made it very clear during the HoRB development interview that they always KNEW that Seele was going to become a Herrscher, the question was just how to get there. Sure it took a lot of catharsis and it's a shame it took so long at all, but I think it happening during a story that Seele could be the central figure of, a story where she actually felt relevant was for the best. One of the biggest issues I had with Seele all throughout Part 1 is that it didn't feel like the writers could figure out a way to naturally include her in a lot of the story. As Kiana, Mei, and Bronya matured, the history of the world + the true nature of the Honkai and the Flamechasers were revealed, it just never felt like there was a place for Seele to truly shine anymore. Until now, and I'm more than satisfied that she finally could.
Now the question is if Dark Seele will get an upgraded battlesuit as well or if Starchasm Nyx is going to be it for her.

I agree on what you said in this video, however, when seele was giving bodies to those that ''died'' Senti rejected the body and gave two reasons, the first was because said body simply didn't belong to her, the second was that leaving aside their preferences they are of opposing natures due to Senti being born from the cocoon and Seele from the sea (not sure if she means only Sa system or something else).
This leads me to believe that even if Seele is an Imaginary Herrcher her Quanta ''nature'' has not disappeared and is ''integrated'' in her Imaginary authority.
This is a very good point. However, it's a bit difficult to say what Senti meant. She said that Seele is a Herrscher "born in the Sea of Quanta". It's not clear if she means that Seele is a Herrscher that is Quantum in nature, or is referring to Sa - who operates in the Sea of Quanta. Either way, that's a good point that is worth noting.

It may be that the Sa and Cocoon systems are incompatible due to their locations; however, they both operate on the same kind of energy (honkai) and have a similar enough framework that Prometheus can use her knowledge of the Cocoon to manipulate the Sa system on the spot, which leads me to think that they are extremely similar and compatible.
I may be reading too much into it, but I think that Seele's ''lantern'' kind of has the same shape as the symbol of quanta when you look at it side by side, and the nucleus also has that dark blue color associated with quanta.

First of all, I'm sorry about the wall of text.
The reason why I don't believe that's the case is because in Chapter 39-17, it is explained that in order to fight the honkai, a system called ''Soul System'' was implemented in order to combine all of the humans processing power in order to find a way to fight back. The honkai eventually invaded this system, and Sa, desperate to win, used the sea to cause what she called a tsunami and afterwards called the honkai complex, but not all powerful, which leads me to believe she used this opportunity to study its inner workings.
In chapter 39-6, called Gamebreaker (and overcome finality once more), there is a line of dialogue between Prometheus and Schrodinger where they talk about the code used on the cocoon to create the Will of Honkai and manipulate it; they also talk about how that same code can be used on the Sa system to create a Herrscher.
After that, they also talk about the possibility that Senti could have been subsumed into the Sa system and become a Herrscher under its authority.
When Prometheus entered the world origin in chapter 39-9, she was able to immediately recognize the way the Sa cocoon worked and barely took a few seconds to configure it (by the way, the symbol of the Sa cocoon is almost identical to Finality's Cocoon), so fast that Sa wasn't able to fully stop it, which leads me to believe she copied the code used in Finality to grant Seele full freedom, as seen by the fact that Sa has no control over Seele even though she's under her system.
All of it leads me to believe that Sa copied the system used by Finality and used it to create her own cocoon. Which makes both systems compatible with each other.
On the matter of Seele's ''Imaginary'' or ''Quanta'' authority, I believe she has parts of both; her core is indeed imaginary; however, her authority has way too many references to the sea to be a coincidence. I took a look at her lantern, and it is indeed the symbol of quanta (or minimun shaped like it), which is also used in her ultimate, in which she calls the spirits of the sea and creates a zone that resembles the inside of the sea.
For the gameplay standpoint, this also explains why her weapon doesn't follow the format of "Key of ___" (normal) and "Domain of ___" (PRI-Arm upgrade).
Apart from this, there are a few things I would like to add from several points in this video that may give you an idea of your future videos.
First, the Honkai itself. As far as we know and agree with, Honkai is actually being siphoned to the moon by Kiana in order to allow Earth recover after Project Stigma and finding a way to make Honkai into a new source of reneweable and clean energy. Meaning the most popular theory of "Kiana sacrificed herself to seal the Honkai" is officially debunked, and Kiana can communicating with her friends and loved ones just fine... unless something wrong happens to her. Then again, this ties with the theme of fate and future in the game where someone's future isn't set in stone, and their actions have the potential to change it. For better or worse.
Second, and perhaps the most important, Sa herself. Especially understanding what she really wants. Even though we are still really unsure about Sa is, what is certain that she is likely to be set to become a major threat that equally, if much worse than the Honkai; provided if she makes her movement in APHO or Part 2 storyline, or even better, both. Her backstory in Chapter 39 really shows what an opposite to what happened to transhuman characters from earth (i.e. Kiana, Mei, Bronya, Seele, etc.): out of sheer desperation and desire to "persevere and going above and beyond the Honkai", she will giving up everything in the past and throwing away her own sense of humanity to become a godlike entity, and destroying countless bubble worlds to empower herself, which makes her no different than the Honkai she and her former Venusian coworkers faced. This is the first time we see a victim of Honkai willing to cast aside her humanity and committing countless cruelties upon others. There are two words to describe her current state, and that is "transhuman treachery". That's exactly what Sa is doing: transcend into an entity that equals to Honkai, chooses to do something no different than the Honkai.
Also, with the revelations of Sa is the true master of the Sky People, it's possible that the invasion of Sky People on earth in APHO was her doing, while Void Archives only serves as an intermediary to the proper world. And considering what happened to St. Fountain civilians that mysteriously disappeared, it's likely that Sa erased any and all of them, just like what happened to Senti and Kira, then sending the Sky People scouts to scoop out the remaining Honkai energy while observing that no one will hinder her plans to implant her "rules" on earth.
Lastly, just because Sa is weaker than the Cocoon, doesn't mean it can't evolve. It's possible by the events of APHO, she manages to reach the proper world and starts implanting her "rules" on HI3's earth.

I love how the development of two Seeles are almost opposites of each other.
I’d say Light Seele’s development was more subtle since it went over the course of the story (from Ch. 23, waking up alone on the moon and made her way helping the people in New Atra, to the latest arc).
It showed us that Light Seele is smart, dependable, and brave; very different from the girl we encountered back in Ch. 12. She accepted that she was weak and still needed help (from Dark Seele) while also continued to improve herself.
While Dark Seele had one theme and it was acceptance. The first time we met her, she was intimidating, ruthless, and violent; but now we know she wasn’t always like that. Dark Seele is anxious, has low self-esteem (and self-worth if I may add), pessimistic, and childish (lol).
We always got the impression that Dark Seele is more mature and independent when it’s actually the other way around.
Her whole world revolves around Seele (heck, her main goal was to keep Seele alive, no matter the cost) and when that’s taken away from her, it’s like losing a part of herself.
She doesn’t see herself more than just Light Seele’s shadow, while Light Seele has always treated her as her own person and wanted to give her the same life she has now.
I’ll stop here, I could write pages about these two lmao.

So she is still like other Herrschers but with a different origin, Convergent Evolution is the only good analogy to explain. So she is still an Imaginary Type, however for balancing purposes Hoyo had to change her to PSY. The reason is actually simple because IMG is neutral against the OG types, if she's IMG she would have the ability to brute force all Hare's bosses, which will make her irrelevant (but still meta for Top Score) since HoRb can just brute force her bosses, not only that she has to be PSY so she is heavily countered by Hare's bosses. If she's BIO she will still be able to brute force it. This also applies if she's QUA as well, as QUA is also neutral against the OG 3 types.
Also double quantum collapse with Susannah sounds broken
@@akila3002 to be honest, not really. We already have the ability to do double quantum collapse with Nyx and HB + Collapse Cannon a while back. And again Lorewise it also doesn't make sense since Herrschers are Imaginary. Most of them aren't IMG because either the IMG Type doesn't exist back then (HoV, HoR, HoT, HoS, HoF), or again, for balancing purposes (HoH and HoRb). HoH is also PSY because we already have Meta and/or Relevant Ice DPS for almost every Type back then.
This remind me with 7Thunder Divine Key which released after Aponia patch which make HoT can brute force most of Aponia's bosses (and only leave Sushang) and made CN players angry since they have no future looking like GLB/ SEA players lol
She would too broken if she was QUA or IMG, I think PSY is the type they go for balancing reasons just imagine if Elysia HoH was IMG (which would be logical)
@@rensike569 tbh PSY is also not that balanced because that's the type of all Herrschers of Brute Force. HoT 7T, HoF, HoHE, and now HoRb are the valks that have extremely huge coverage that you can just go unga bunga on most stages. BIO and MECH are by far the most balanced type in this game, however Hoyo doesnt want Hare to get irrelevant real fast because those two types also brute forces all of Hare's content.

Great video as always Homu Labs. I am glad to see I caught most of that myself when going through but there were certainly some hazy parts (the specific lead-up to Light Seele being made the Herrcher) but this video did a great job solidifying my understanding of the events of those chapters. Super excited for the next arc telling us more about Sa as well.
It's a Visual novel type game, having a pacing issue seen normal to me.
Think about it, Dark Seele's best new friend is... technically a child herself.
Nice summarize. I just want to add that "Singularity" can be understood as a point with so much energy that it can't be observed, and it no longer follows the rules in the current dimension, just like a real-life black hole. In Hoyoverse, a Singularity's real position is on a higher dimension.
Hence, the real Herscher cores have their own unique location on a higher dimension, and their appearance on a 3D plane is also a projection or Anchor point, that's why they can appear in another place/individual right away. Rather than Herschers "owning" a core, it's more like they are authorized to interact with it.

And if I'm right... basically Herrscher Seele is made from a discount version of Finality which called Sa... so basically Herrscher Seele is a mirror of Sa power just like with Finality and it's Herrscher's... right?
Then.... do it mean that if there are other Higher dimensional Being like Finality & Sa. Does that mean that they can technically create there own Herrscher's if they wanted too??? For example Aeons from HSR?
Aeon in *HI3 term* are *observer* in their own universe. After gazing to worthy person(SU/story for example), they'll give blessings or power that's called *path* to path-rider in HSR term.
Aeon of Finality maybe potentially related to the *Honkai* in HSR(since Kevin said *Finality* have authority of time, and Aeon of Finality in HSR story it's said move backward time)
Well, if anything, this arc shows us that it's possible for multiple entities to make "Herrschers". It's also important to note that Sa is imitating the Cocoon specifically, so it uses the same system. Other entities may do it differently. It's a little too early, and we know very little to tie this to Aeons yet. But I can definitely see a similarity between Herrscher and Emanators.
Herrscher Of Rebirth/Death can actually Revive people however Seele doesn’t know that along with Otto And it can Revive People without creating New bodies For Them
I thought Otto knows that HoV has Gem of Death or something. That is why he tried to revive and gather data from HoV through Kiana. But ultimately, he found a way to "let Kallen live" in another sense. My man defied time and all laws to "change" the past.

Your explanation at the end of the video for character growth and development is WHY I love the fact that these arcs feel somewhat longer than they needed to be. It just further drives home the impact needed for the players to actually care about the cast of characters. Elysian Realm was and still is my favorite because the writers had to create 13 new personalities and make them all work together in a cohesive manner that actually makes sense to that Arc and the overall HI3rd story.
Great video as always HomuLabs, I really didnt have trouble understanding all of this when playing these chapters and I could feel the same about dark Seele and her growth but I didnt have really a way to explain it thanks for that comment, but I really hope many more people reach your video to clear their doubts and/or confusion as I too seen many complain as to why Seele isnt Quantum and that it goes against the lore, like as aways and keep the good work

One thing I'd like to ask; The alien key of the SUGARs is simply just like the divine keys, a "weapon" made of a herrscher core, right? Do you reckon that an entity like CoF/Sa is required to put laws into place in a world to make it able to "create" herrschers, or that imaginary singularities can happen "on their own"? I'm unsure whether CoF has possibly been on the SUGARs ex-home planet before, or if CoF has been active in HI3s world and solar system on the imaginary tree solely, as those were the only things we saw memories of in Chapter 35.
The Alien Key is said to function similarly to a divine key, most specifically the Cosmic Juggernaut since both have powers related to manipulating space. This arc implies that the Cocoon, or a being similar to it, is required in order for a Herrscher to form. But, even without them, Misteln points out that Honkai manifests in many ways in different Bubble Worlds where the Cocoon and Sa have no influence. The SUGARS also fought the Honkai at some point. While never stated that it was CoF, since the word Honkai is used to describe 3 different things, (Cocoon, Honkai phenomena, and Honkai Energy) I think that it's most likely that it was indeed the Cocoon.

Even though it was late, I am glad that they didn't just throw Seele to the wayside, like I feared; but my saving since Senti paid off, I got my SSS 4/4 Seele. Really enjoyed Seele's story arc. Banger video as well, I woke up saw a new video and instantly got out of bed for it. 💯

Thank [Honkai God] I'm not the only one that feels the same way. Yes, as said in the video there were a few pacing issues, overall this felt like Honkai when it's at it's best. Part 1 Finale in comparison was.... overwhelmingly meh. It's kinda sad that the same emotional and storyline beats that we felt shine during this storyline were markedly absent from Finale (with a few exceptions).
Moon arc was just shit honestly, the concept was good but the delivery was absolute dogshit
shoulda cut down the physics talk and added a chapter inbetween to make the powerups make more sense instead of rushing for releasing battlesuits and gain money
@@unknown_unfoundgod yeah Herrscher of finality was fully shown before her debut in game - so dumb honestly XD and honestly the short disappointed me as well - like I don't want Kiana to die but the fact is she's just going on vacation and they can eventually go visit her completely disregards any emotional impact the short and the goodbyes had.
Sorry for the rant I just have a lot of feelings lol - I thought I was going insane watching everyone wax praises for the short (which is still amazing don't get me wrong) when all of the emotional impact is non existent

I tried to avoid the skip button...but eventually I wanted to do some combat and not listen to characters talk all day, so I gave in.

Finish it! If Part 1 Finale left you feeling disatisfied then this will be the palate cleanser. It stumbles a little here or there but overall I think the writing and gameplay will help you remember why Honkai can be so good.

So this video made me like the arc a lot more generally because of you looking at it through the lens of Veliona's character growth. I have a lot of issues with the arc, more than pacing, but that mostly depends on Seele's fate. Is she tied to this world instead of the real world? I don't think with the happy ending shot, but I do think they missed a massive opportunity for us to actually care about this place in the same way you saw that Durandul's bubble world was real place with people you could connect to. This bubble world is like a tower, maybe 300 faceless people, and the only one we actually met turned out to be the antagonist and not from it anyway.

I think Sa might be an equivalent of the Kiana becoming a Herrcher of finality but from the sea of quanta.
The Imaginary and the sea of quanta have always been opposites of each other so it’s not surprising to have a finality born from the sea of quanta and have herrschers with quantum type in the future

In the Second Key manga, Su mentions how he had peered through multiple leaves on the Imaginary Tree and said not one of them won against the Honkai, while a picture of the HoTE/HoFi is shown. This implies that the Cocoon has influenced every single leaf on the Imaginary Tree. Is this yet another straight-up retcon or what? 🤷

@weirdocreep2471 Right, but it most definitely CAN exist on every leaf considering that it transcends all dimensionality as a whole, which puts the Cocoon above the Imaginary Tree itself. If something is so powerful, it requires breaking the 4th wall to beat, then that something is at a narrative level higher than the lore of the story itself.

This was A very good summary that made me understand the Jargon of their explanation more how the Herrscher happened. And also cleared up the whole u and I sequence. But im still confused about the whole light and dark seele situation. So as the bubble universe merge and everyone died, does this mean the dark seele has light seeles real body now as Was mentioned in prior chapters?

So you're saying that since Herrscher of Rebirth is a creation of an imitation, she is by nature an imitation. But bcs she has Honkai energy which under the jurisdiction of the whole imaginary tree - sea of quanta relationship back in the "real world", this makes her as a Herrscher real. Thus "convergent evolution". She adapted to the reality inside something that isn't real.

I dont think she's imitation. Sa only imitated how Cocoon works and both of them still derived their powers from the same source. Herscerrs of Cocoon and Sa are still real and the same but with different origin.

In Sumeru, the Irminsul was contaminated with forbidden knowledge (akin to incompatibility to the current programme in Teyvtat), with the side effect being Eleazar and Withering in Sumeru, Oozing Concretion in the Chasm. Also even if something was removed, only memories/perceptions were altered/fill the blanks, but actual events and end result is still the same, akin to Schrodinger's cat theory.

Honestly, my issue with HoRB wasn't how she turned into a Herrscher (this was admittedly rationalized pretty well in-universe), but rather that she exists at all.
I would rather this entire arc never happened if it culminated in a Herrscher Seele, much as it pains me that "Seele" wouldn't have gotten her own body out of it in exchange.

Chapter 31, right at the end of Act 1 after Eden vanishes. That is when it is mentioned that she "cut the threads of fate" and freed humanity from its "density". Then, after the fight with Mei as they talk on the swings, Mei basically thanks her for the fact that she allowed them to fight. It's never fully stated in one place. It's implied through multiple pieces of dialogue throughout the entire ER arc.

I think the core of this argument heavily relies on the definition of “what is Honkai energy?” From this video, it’s “Honkai energy = Imaginary Energy,” hence “HoRB, born from Honkai energy, is Imaginary.”
I want to argue that that is NOT the case. Rather, I don’t think MHY themselves have been good at discerning or defining this either.
Let’s look at previous Quantum characters. We have SP, SN, and Nyx Seele. We have Vill-V, and Susannah. The latter of the two makes zero sense to be Quantum besides balancing reasons, but all of Seele’s make perfect sense lore wise to be quantum… but do they?
Seele’s powers all come from her natural Stigmata that’s a pass down from the Previous Era, but she’s not the only one who’s powered by Stigma power, the other one being Durandal…. But she’s Imaginary….
So what about looking at the definition of Honkai energy? What is it? Early on, Honkai was theorized to be a mysterious energy that grows along with civilization for the sole purpose of destroying said civilization repeatedly in a cycle, but this changed as we learned more about the Sea of Quanta and Imaginary Tree.
Turns out, the Sea of Quanta and Imaginary tree are constantly consuming one another. Worlds on the Imaginary Tree, ie. The leaves, when fully consumed by the Sea of Quantum, is deemed “destroyed by the Honkai,” and said world falls to the Sea of Quanta. In the same way, bubble universes destroyed by this consumption process, becomes sustenance for the Imaginary Tree.
Honkai itself manifests differently in different worlds. In the main story “proper world,” it exists as the Cocoon of Finality. In some bubble universes, it could appear in the form of a Demon King, or a natural end of the world outside a certain barrier, etc. Point is, Honkai in itself, is *not* necessarily Imaginary.
This is further proven by how Senti was unable to function properly with the Sea of Quanta’s Honkai energy when given a body by Seele. She stated that a body provided by her own powers (Imaginary) or by the Cocoon/Kiana (Inaginary), it would’ve been fine, but a body produced by Seele’s Herrscher Honkai energy served only to obstruct her.
So to correct your video, I want to bring to your attention that not all Honkai energy is drawn off of the Imaginary Tree. Stigmata dimension Honkai energy and Sea of Quanta Honkai energy both exist.
Is it possible that Sa is a being from an ancient civilization from another world or from a previous earth civilization from before the PE that learned about the Herscher of Finality and learned to imitate that power in the sea of quanta, and became Sa as a way of trying to survive the Honkai or challenge it? Also do you think Sa is the same one that Su saw in while he was searching the bubble universe and warned Mei about?
Sa is the original Vita. We learned her backstory in Chapter 39. She is from Venus. They also fought the Honkai back then, but after they opened the "doors to the Sea", some power killed everybody on the Planet except for her.

I didn’t catch that Sa was actually Vita all along. Still tho, they didn’t tell us which Era the destruction of Venus happened in. I would imagine it would have been long before the PE as Dr MEI never mentions a civilization on Venus also fighting the Honkai. Didn’t they find ruins from the 50k years before the PE during the PE?
@@AstraLuna-o9iactually they kind of did tell you when venus was destroyed. back at the moon arc kiana interracted with the cocoon of finality and it told us its opinion about each planet "the 2nd planet in the solar system, the cocoon has finished its duty there" so we know that venus was destroyed before cocoon went to earth. as for the ruins it was remnants of civilization before the P.E from earth tldr PE wasnt the first era and that honkai had reset the time on earth multiple times

@irisamanda3922 If i remember correctly, some ruins were dated to 200000 yrs old by Dr Mei when she found it. So if that was 50000 yrs ago, then that would mean the ruins are 250000 yrs ago now. That could be the ruins of venus or something

Because that is one thing that puzzled me during the story. How would the Core attach to Blue Seele when she was a stigmata existence?
Vita explain that only Form or Abnormal stigmata that become the sage of the high tower could survive the merge of the twin bubble universe

Could it be possible to explain some things about Honkai Impact lore by looking for possible connections with Honkai Star Rail lore? Such as the Coccoon of Finality possibly being linked to (or being) the Aeon of Finality. It's possible that Sa is an Emanator of the Aeon of Finality, and the coccoon is the Aeon. Or maybe both Sa and the Coccoon are Emanators of Finality.
The connections between the Cocoon and Terminus are pretty scarce right now. Also, keep in mind that while they are both translated as 'Finality' in English, in CN they use different characters. So they are not the same.

It turns out that in hsr, the finality in cn is spelled as this 终末, but in Japanese it is also spelled as what in hi3 finality is spelled which is 终焉. But for hi3, the finality is spelled as 终焉 both cn and jp as what homulabs says. And if you try to search for the difference between the two, 终末 when translated straight up means end in cn, but 终焉 is translated as 'eventually' in cn. Further research on this brought me up to what 焉 is commonly used for(tho this may be not as accurate or could be wrong since i just rely on google and the sites it gave me while researching this) auxiliary at the end of sentence to express mood, etc. And the 焉 as itself can be 'where' or 'how', or a kind of yellow bird.
What I'm getting here is it could be, COULD BE, a mistranslation upon localization of the game. In hi3's case, i heard and read that they started with jp first before cn, but again this could be, COULD BE, wrong. And what's more confusing is when you search for the cocoon of finality directly and check the official wiki, they don't have any language translation on the other names section of it.
So unless hyv decided to expand welt's story on hsr when the signal he ask herta to send to hi3 world do its job and gave us a response back, or until hi3 decided to also expand its story beyond their current world(or leaf) whether it's in between (or during in case of part 1.5)part 1.5 and part 2 or APHO 3, we won't have a decent amount of info if they're the same Finality hdhdhdbd
