Just picked up my Palisade Ultimate Calligraphy 2 weeks ago. Love it!!! However, nothing is perfect. With all the tech and features in this car, it’s bizarre to me that the following doesn’t exist.

I have the 2023. I love it but I wish it would have had the fold in side mirrors.

This is the Ultimate vehicle, just wish they hadn't skimped on the powertrain, and the oil filter housing underneath the vehicle wasn't plastic and under the hood all the Plastic odds and ends instead of metal, along with the spair tire being stored underneath:((...just little things here and there, but questionable 🤨😬and the lack of insulation underneath the vehicle (for sound barrier) as well...disappointing but the Extra large shock absorber and other safety touches, like ride / drive assist and the cameras and folding seats...are Fabulous 👌Seriously could care less about folding mirrors, can't believe that is even a thing...Seriously!!!
They really set the Bar Pretty high for other's but they Do need to Prioritize where they cut corners, and not on the Powertrain!! The double sun Roof is the Beast😁 heated seating and automatic Tailgate Awesome...

I like your review of the Palisade Calligraphy !!! You provide a different set of detail that others overlook - very informative! I am planning to order one (due to my interest in the Burgundy/Beige color combination, as most dealers only have the dark interior that does NOT show off the gorgeous interior's detail) in mid-2023, which may likely be a 2024 model (at MSRP or less!) when they are released. My ONLY real complaint is that with such a luxurious SUV, there are NO POWER-FOLDING side mirrors! (like on the Telluride, I am hoping I can find an aftermarket solution.) Many thanks for your review. And to answer your question - YES, it is the best 3-row SUV, along with the Kia Telluride.

The only “issue” I find with the North American version - why they don’t come with power folding side mirrors? Other than that, great car for the price.

Yes, I would agree - Kia has had it in their Telluride SUVs since they were released in 2020. Perhaps there is an aftermarket option to add this feature?
Our parking spaces are wider than the European ones. 😂

Do you feel any difference in the engine and transmission in regards to the tuning between the 2022 and the 2023 Palisade? I’m assuming you know since you work for Hyundai 😊
There is no difference in the powertrain at all, feels pretty much identical
This is really a nice SUV.
But, I feel like it won’t be this nice after one year.
Unlike the Toyota, Honda, and Mazda.
I don’t like those type of vehicles 😮. I purchased a new one back in 2000, it didn’t take me long to figure it out. YUCK
Does it have theft protection. Since Hyundai is having massive theft reports this last year.
Theft reports have been only on Hyundai and Kia cars with a standard turn key and no immobilizer. Every Palisade has an immobilizer and to back that up, SEL and higher have 3 years of complimentary Bluelink, which is a recovery system and more
