Baby Bentley // GV80 Review

Now, let's forward 15 years, we have this BMW M4 Competition, with all wheel drive, 0-60mph times that are crazy, a turbo 6 cylinder with about 500hp and whole bunch of electronic gismos to keep you planted, s...

Coolest Family Sedan??? // 2020 Avalon TRD Review
Переглядів 472Рік тому
Now that Toyota has decided that the Avalon is no more, let's take a look at why it was one of the greats and will be missed for... The Avalon has always had a nameplate of being your grandparents car, but your grandparents were probably smart to pick it and this last generation was made to appeal to the younger crowd, especially with the TRD. More aggressive styling, a low stance and an exhaus...

In a dying market of full size luxury sedans, does Genesis have what it takes to stand out and make a name for itself? Well, see it for yourself. The completely redone Genesis has a lot to offer at a substantially lower price. With Genesis finally finding it's identity and making a name for itself with it's SUV's, should it finally be looked at as a worthy competitor to the German dominated cla...

Is this the best looking gas sipper? // 2023 Elantra Hybrid Blue Review
Переглядів 11 тис.Рік тому
Welcome to my channel! This is a review of my own 2023 Elantra Hybrid Blue. If you are looking for a Hybrid with exceptional fuel economy, but don't want to look like you are in one, I believe this is your best option! Great styling, ergonomic interior and a 6 speed DCT makes for an enjoying, yet efficient driving experience. Tired of the car that screams I AM A HYBRID? You should look no furth...
Hyundai really missed the boat with this one. The car is really nice otherwise with all of the "bells and whistles". There is power to the mirrors, they should have had the auto adjust side mirrors!
I bought it used for $30k. Prev owner bought it new and owned it for 5months putting 2k miles. So far, so good. Its more car and price than I was looking for but I think I got the quality I paid for. My biggest complaint is that I get 15 mpg city. 30 mpg hwy. I don't need AWD, especially since the winters here keep getting milder, but oh well. It sux that with AWD, if one tire goes bad then you have to replace all four at the same time. The rear camera is a game changer. But I think all new cars have that. I also wish the screen buttons were mechanical. Their touch screen seems to need me to push for a long time to be recognized. The auto stop and start is kept off most of the time. But there are a couple red lights on my normal route that seem extra long so I enable it for them. When I have the a/c on high, the autostop turns it to minimum which is annoying. There are a few more nice things that I don't need and wish I didn't have to pay for but oh well. Otherwise there are minor things both good and not so good but not worth mentioning.
I have a 2024 GV70 Sports Prestige. I enjoy the car. However, the service & dealer experience is not great. They push the 10 year warranty and complimentary service for 36,000 or 3 years, but it’s lacking. My Mercedes service experience was exquisite, at least at my dealership. Genesis said I could have a loaner. I made my appointment 2 months in advance, and called 1 week prior to confirm. Get to the dealer and had to argue and was eventually brought a Hyundai not a Genesis. Second trip was a recall. Couldn’t get a loaner, waited over 4 hours. Brought my car back and said they accidentally changed my oil but they wouldn’t charge me? What a joke! I brought it for a recall and they accidentally changed the oil and tried to make it seem like a courtesy for not charging me. My car was brought back to me dirtier than what I dropped off both times. I don’t trust Genesis to fix an issue if one arises. I don’t trust Genesis to pick my car up and bring it back to me in the same condition. Part of the “luxury” experience is supposed to be service and I would say it’s anything but luxurious experience. Again, I do enjoy the car! And it’s a bargain for what you get. But I think they have major work to do with dealer experience.
Not sure why you get that in US. We have beautiful 3D digital display in Aussie 😊
Looks so nice! Very stylish 😊
Thanks for a great review! I’m from Australia and this GV70 top of the line sells for approximately AUD$100,000. As I’m retired, I’m praying for a lottery win, so I can buy one of these luxury SUVs.
Just got one amazing car traded in my Camaro and bought this
Too bad their dealership network is the pits. That's the only thing that keeps me from buying one.
Not everywhere, Bud. Mine is pretty great .....
I bought the Macan S with the sport chrono package. It is a 911 on stilts! The Genesis is nice but when it comes to driving dynamics Porsche is hard to beat. IMO.
Gv90 is one of best
That beam coming down the middle of the front seats looks pretty bad. Did they fire that designer or is it needed for structure? If structure… they seriously need a new design engineer. If esthetics… try again.
Too much light techy that can go bad over tim otherwise nice.
I just bought mine,it drives like butter 🎉
I own a 2022 and I really do like it is all you need
A well done review! This car is amazing in almost every aspect! It's just missing the 8 cylinder. I recently surprised my wife with this 2024 E Supercharged in Makalu Gray with the all white interior. This is our 5th Genesis vehicle and her 2nd G90, which is a 2021 5.0. In silver with the taupe interior and the crazy Maybach looking wheels. Although my wife says the 2024 is quick enough for her but not like our 5.0 8 cylinder. If she wants more acceleration, she just jumps in her 2022 C8 Corvette LT2 with the Z51 package. 0-60 2.9 seconds. I am an exotic guy myself, but I must admit Chevrolet took the Corvette from an American Sports car into an exotic class for a lot less money. Wait until I take delivery on the 2024 C8 Z06 I ordered. She does have access to my car collection! Remember, a happy wife makes for a happy life!😊 I must admit that the 2024 G90 ride, comfort, and tech is amazing!!! I told my wife is I am buying her a black limo drivers cap to wear while driving me around in the back seat! She also has a 2020 G80, which is now our family loaner as we have seven adult children. We also put one of our sons in a G70 (he's my employee, and it's a perk). I have become a big Genesis fan since 2017. I am no longer drinking the S Class and 7 Series koolaid. My wife actually says enjoys the Genesis G90s over any of the S Class and the 7 Series!
battery drain problem fixed?
I have the exact same car,its a real treat to drive.a total gem of a car.Best car for the current times in my books.
I’m going to submit a factory order for mine, 2024 Uyuni white, vanilla beige interior, Prestige sport package with 3.5T. Yeahhhh buddy! 😂
I was waiting for you to tell me how to use the gear shift , where it pulls to the left. What’s that for? What does it do and when do you use it?
Black wheels are hideous and they always will be
I'm worried it's not going to handle well in the snow should I be? I was going to lease one....
My Wife recently bought a base 2023 Elantra Hybrid. Did you order navigation as an option. Hers does not have it. WHat is the round device attached to the dash?
I can't wait to get mine!!
No one talks about adjusting the side view mirrors on the 2023 Tucson. Do they adjust automatically to each driver?
I have one. They do not have that function to remember a setting. You have to use the widget to change the mirror angle yourself.
Personally, I don't like the grille. The original grille looked much classier and more elegant, strongly reminiscent of Bentley. I don't like the instrument panel. I think it should either be all analog or all digital, not half and half. It just looks goofy. But I do love the steering and handling. And the price is right!
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Getting my 23 Blue tomorrow. First thing I'm doing is putting LED headlight bulbs in
*225 in the front
You lost all credibility with your Kia Stinger remarks. Try reviewing something a little more your apeed, like the model T.
They share a lot of stuff....
I wonder if it’s a bit too close to the ground. How is it gonna get through the snow bank? 😮
What color is that? I’m having a hard time with the electric shadow/ fluid metal
Great review ... Keep it up !!
don't like the round exhaust and the starfish rims are UGLY....also not sure why the steering wheel has that big thick center that looks like someone stuck it on there...personally, I think the 2 spoke steering wheel is much sharper than the usual 3.
Gee, I do NOT know??? Like the car however OUCH! Twin as is (2) Turbos......I have done lots of research and have shied away from Euros or any vehicle with a turbo as Naturally Aspirated is far and away more reliable....Turbos run VERY HOT and melt engine components i.e. wiring fuel pumps and cause oil Leaks after about two to three years....READ You Tube on are TURBOS a Problem. Then I checked the mileage predicted on this car and they said 17 to 19 miles per Gallon PREMIUM gas OUCH! This coupled with consumers reports article saying Genesis are Korean and thus far nor reliable...leaves me in question..... I guess I will go with a Highly reliable Lexus as I know I do Not want the stress and the depreciation and Re-Sale on a Lexus will be a far better investment! Soooo maybe like me, you might try to do your proper research on a $60,000 investment / loss!
Nice vehicle but the laptop on the dash makes it a no go.
Good review. I just love that rumble at low RPMs. Really adds character.
I am awaiting my Hybrid Blue to arrive at the dealer. Can't wait.
First tried to buy a loaded '23 M240i AWD since rear seat space was unimportant. They wanted my paid-off trade plus $18,500. On a whim I looked at a new G70 3.3 AWD with an MSRP a few hundred more than the BMW. I went home with it for my trade and $9,981. Oh, and this is from someone who has owned 15 Bimmers. This is a screaming deal!
Really great video!
Purchased mine on 6/30/23 the SEL w/out convenience package and I'm loving it.
I’m a G80 owner, will you speak about the Genesis you add the parent company! Nobody does this with Lexus, Infinity, or Acura! Oh by the way in the video the iconic LS made a cameo it you video!
rear reminds me of the old Dodge Stratus
Is it true that on an AWD model, if one tire goes, you have to replace all 4 because of how the system senses the tires?
The problem with Japanese luxury SUV's is that they are ugly and underpowered, but reliable. The problem with German SUV's is that they are unreliable, expensive to buy and maintain, ugly (with the exception of the Macan imo), and some of us don't want the douche image that comes with German luxury brands. The Genesis on the other hand is beautiful, reliability is an unknown right now but will be cheaper to maintain than the German brands, better value, loads of tech, and a fresh new brand image. Test drove the Macan S and GV70 and ended up buying the GV70.
Nice review! Most people are reviewing this as a crossover. It is not lol definitely more of a hot hatch.
I know this was months ago but I was wondering about ambient light adjustments.. I know how on the limited trim with the navigation screen. And does the plain sel with no convenience package have the 10 color ambiance lighting?
Purchased a new 2023 Tucson SEL with the convenience package on June 4th I am really impressed with this car
I’ve had my Tucson for exactly one year, I love it! It’s sharp looking, drives great! The only thing I’d like to know is on the gear shift when you’re in drive, the gearshift a move to the left, and there are other numbers. What is that for? What does it do? When and how do you use it?
I have a toson I love it all wheel drive average 30mpg,I have 2023
I've got as high as 35.7 mpg. On smart mode.
i have been wanting to get the SEL w/activity package. i love the car/truck just scared of long term quality. the brand has had many issues over the years. i have a Maverick hybrid ordered since 9/17/2022 but no build date as of yet. i do so much more like the Santa Cruze for the upscale items, and it has everything i would want to put on the maverick for only about $2500 more. i wish i could jump on board, but i plan to keep my next car for 20+ years. my last Firebird i have had since 2001. i want to be persuaded one way or the other. any ideas out there??
Run in first 600 miles keep under 106 mph and 5000 rpm 😆👍
This brand is so overrated. This model looks good but looks unfinished at certain angles.
