Nice fix! I had the same issue, and I just fixed it by swapping Cuora and Beagle, then using Cuora's skill to block the arts guard that leaks through. This works best if you are confident in your DPS on the left side, since if 2 of the big boys stack up on Beagle she will probably melt.

Tip: If you're using Saria as the Defender at the top right, you don't need to put in a Medic at 1:50. It's completely unnessecary if you have her skill set to skill 2.

I really can't be grateful enough for Kyo's channel, I started this game only a month ago and I've been slowly progressing through it. My general rule of thumb for story mode and alternative game modes is to venture into blind runs to get the thrill of the gameplay and learn to strategize better but for resources stages I really can't bother to try the maps because they even gate them for certain days of the week and I really want to progress to then be able to be more experimental and have an enjoyable experience. I can't bother to have fun with the gimmicks of farm stages really.

Worked like a charm, even using higher rarity operators. I didn't have an operator with slow, so in Orchid's position I used another single target caster. In my case, I used E2 Haze in Orchid's position, and E1 lvl40 Amiya in the standard one. Shaw had level 7 S1. Rest was just operators of the same class but higher rarity/level.
To anyone who's struggling with the push rng on the defender on the top right, place a unit as soon as Shaw's skill activates it prevents the defender from moving back, after that he'll fall to his death.
I feel stupid now because I cleared this stage by grouping all my units in the middle choke point and basically 'brute force' my way to victory... and then there's this strategy which is so much simpler... -_-" How did I brute force my way you ask? Well... there was Gitano and Skyfire... Coura and Matterhorn... Shining and Silence... Lappland and E2 Silverash XD
One thing that would improve all SK-5 guides-> Shaw and then instead of Beagle, drop a block 2 vanguard. Courier, Siege, Texas, it doesn't matter. At 22 kills, you withdraw them and place your defender. This gives you an incredible DP boost in the early game which makes the whole run far less harrowing.
Thanks for this. Managed to clear with underleveled OPs. Sometimes Shaw takes ages to push off the last black guy though when the game decides to screw with you on 2x on Auto. EDIT… guess you adressed that on the sticky. But oh well. It works with modifications for me.
Finally playing catchup and I'll say... this wasn't quite as bad as some of the other levels. I did switch out Melanthia with Mousse though, since Shaw couldn't Sparta kick the heavy off the ledge for some reason, even with her skills maxed. But thanks for this man :) really appreciate it!
big bulky enemies weigh more so it takes Shaw more time to push them off, this gameplay feature actually plays a big factor in challenge mode of some stages in that it gives more weight to all enemy types such as 3-3 Hard
For people who have issue with Shaw, I recommend some changes with this: To where KyoStinV added Shaw, replace her with Cliffhanger to pull them to the hole next to her to the right. Then add Beagle or any "Block 3 Enemies" operator at bottom right and add Shaw there to push them to the bottom side hole. This should lower the enemy population. Then add any slow-moving ability operator like Virtuosa at top left to slow them, while you add any Slow effect operator at bottom left covering the whole passage. Then add another defender unit there to prevent them from entering the blue box, and finally add a Caster like Amiya at bottom pointing up for the left wave, and any operator like Skyfire at bottom right to kill those who get stuck at any defender with Shaw cuz Shaw herself cannot push the big bois. This should kill them all in one go. No need for medics.

Thanks for the guide! I thought I could substitute Orchid with Manticore but her slow was not as good, and she can't be deployed on ranged panels. A pity. I had to use Orchid. She wasn't E1 but I still cleared the stage just fine. Instead of Kokodayo I used Poison Blue. I freaking love that sniper since I got her, instant E1.
after countless drill plan and sanity there are few things i tested for this guide: 1. with skill 1 level 4, dont replace shaw with FEater, it wont work at all. she cant push both 2nd and 3rd enemies at once like shaw does, then just like that later she wont able to push all the enemies into the hole, its the easiest thing u will notice 2. there is a bug that causes the last shielded dude can not be pushed into the hole with skill 1 level 4 from specialist pushers. he will get pushed to the edge, then comeback to the original position, and make a loop which will make you fail auto deploy if you dont keep looking at the screen 3. if your team is underleveled and your defender cant hold left lane, you can replace slow supporter with someone deal physical damage. art guard leader is weak to physical damage, and they spawn before the big dude (except the first one). if they get slowed by your slow support, your operators will attack the big dude who is closer to defending point, thus those art guard leaders will kill you defender tested with full team e1 lvl 20 skill 1 level 4 (except cuora skill 2 for right lane)
@@XenithShadow i used shirayuki. you can get her through recruitment with aoe + slow or sniper+slow tags. her 2nd skill can slow an aoe and deal extra art damage shirayuki replace amiya amiya replace lava lava replace orchid and face left cuora and beagle swap place order of deployment: shaw > cuora > amiya (active skill)> lava/beagle > beagle/lava > shirayuki > kokodayo > hibiscus (to heal cuora) and the rest just follow the clip if you have a healing defender instead of beagle, place above gavial, and lava facing right
i suggest to change lancet-2 for another defender there some occasion on 35 kill beagle wont be survive the attack after the medic get pulled and oh make sure shaw got her skill to lvl 7 the heavy can repposition them self from the ledge
Would say no to Shaw having lv 7 since that in itself doesn't do anything to her push. You need Shaw's skill at Lv 7 + Specialization 3 to give her large push, even 7 + Specialization 2 is medium. Giving her completely maxed skill would cost an additional 4 orirock concentrations, 4 grindstones, 2 polyester lumps, 2 polymerization preparations, 2 optimized devices, and 12 T3 skill books. Really not worth it for SK-5.
i just retested her skill again and turn out just like you said the change isn't really significant enough, but somehow that actually the reason she finally be able to push the enemy to the chasm edit : turnout my shaw was still a lvl 1

Although, some Auto Deploy, shaw is being left out pushing the last heavy shielded enemy, repeatedly. But some times don't. Auto deploy is really weird sometimes.

Huh. Is there a difference in, like, the animations or speed of the S1 of Shaw and FEater that makes FEater slightly faster or single-target with her push? I haven't invested in Shaw since I got FEater really early, and when using her it seemed that she pushed only one enemy in the starting group of two.
Anyone have any idea why F'Eater just eats shit at the first double unit at the top right? I noticed Shaw was the only one that pushed them off while F'Eater just lets one through.
cant handle this with FEater. she dont push first pair of enemies and dont push any of those big guys without deployment of someone nearby (that not always works) this is not the first time that she does not do the way Shaw does in various videos. why? (ofc I have 4 lvl skill)

I hate how gavial can't be replaced in this one i really don't want to invest on such an operator , but no matter which elite operator i replace her with it's still hopeless for such a Cuora to survive here
I want to know what crack your Beagle is on, because mine dies when the shield guy, blade guy, and crab get stuck on her. It's completely consistent. Shaw doesn't push any of them because of the big dude in the way, I guess, and rather than the 4th guy getting through, even with Beagle's skill at 7, E1 max level, plus a high level healer, she's getting nuked down in literal seconds.
what level is your beagle? spider and big guy should be pushed away after 2 skills from shaw, use shaw first skill not second. Other than that idk, it works fine with me as show in vid. You can also delay removing your healer around 41-43 mob you remove then put at bot so beagle can survive longer. Another option is removing support/ slower earlier to block using melantha earlier so you can delay removing healer, when melantha dies, just switch to putting your reserve healer where support/ slower was. hope this helps

I just use a vanguard to temporarily tank instead of orchid immediately.
My Sniper never targets the Magic Resist Enemy...

FEater has faster push animation, while Shaw slower, that mean before the push is finished the second enemy will go in the tile and Shaw will push him

I want to know what crack your Beagle is on, because mine dies when the shield guy, blade guy, and crab get stuck on her. It's completely consistent. Shaw doesn't push any of them because of the big dude in the way, I guess, and rather than the 4th guy getting through, even with Beagle's skill at 7, E1 max level, plus a high level healer, she's getting nuked down in literal seconds.
what level is your beagle? spider and big guy should be pushed away after 2 skills from shaw, use shaw first skill not second. Other than that idk, it works fine with me as show in vid. You can also delay removing your healer around 41-43 mob you remove then put at bot so beagle can survive longer. Another option is removing support/ slower earlier to block using melantha earlier so you can delay removing healer, when melantha dies, just switch to putting your reserve healer where support/ slower was. hope this helps
