They can definitely go a good bit further than 400. If you want the best ride possible then maybe that’s right, but they’ll still feel pretty good until like 600-700
Definitely. Most shoes can last around 500 miles for me and the pegs consistently last about 700 mile. I have a friend who pushed a pair to almost 1000 miles, but those things are completely destroyed and I don't recommend doing so
I use pegasus 38 (the version prior) and it still good after accumulating 700K+ in it. I use my pegasus for gym workout, easy run, longrun, and sometimes speed session :). Let’s see if my pegs can last up to 1000K 😅🤣
Probably means that the sneakers are long lasting and not easy to tear apart. It has a quality sole that ensure its wearer are comfortable to run in all condition and situation. You don't wanna buy a running shoes every 5 months. You should try it.
Think of running shoes like a mattress. You lay in that mattress long enough, you leave an imprint. Same with running shoe cushioning (which is why it is recommended to have multiple running shoes). In a single run, your shoes will become imprinted with your foot, minimizing the amount of cushion you experience toward the end of a long run. Hence his use of the phrase “still do pretty well”.
Yeah, I was walking through some bushes with a pair and a thorn cut through the rubber and punctured the air bubble. I took the thorn out without thinking and the pressure of the shoe dropped, pretty much killing the shoe
Agree! 33’s were superb. 34’s horrible. 35’s were the best running shoes I’ve ever had (ran 6 pairs of them) 36’s were TRASH!!! 37’s were ok. 38’s not great. 39’s are superb. It seems the odd numbers equal good and evens are hot trash.
I don’t have a pair myself, but even the pros seem to be using like 1 or 2 pairs a season. If the pros are using very few then an amateur runner could probably make due with just one pair for both races and a couple of workouts during a track or cross country season (If you want to, you can probably use just one pair for both)
I disagree. I've pushed dozens of pairs of shoes to 500-700 miles in the last 6 years and have not had a serious injury thankfully. Shoes can last longer than 300 miles
I will admit, every shoe is different and some will last longer than others, but in general you definitely should replace your running shoes between 300-400 miles.
@@marco3391 let me correct myself. 300-400 miles is fine. However, a lot depends on the type of shoe and weight of the person. I personally wouldn't recommend training more than 400 miles on a pair of shoes if you can avoid it.
WHAT!!! I been wearing black shoes this whole time!!!! Mama go by me some rain bow trotters!!!
lol
Black and white goes hard but sometimes you need a little bit of life in what you do!!
This boy chose to be Color blind.
Man. I was like “reeedddddd”
Drraaaaaake
I even used it for some 21 miles long run, great fit, superb comfort, good shoe overall
21 miles? Oh wowww I feel like it's great for maybe a half at most lol. Needs more stack imo for longer distances
They look pink to me 😆
They had us in the first half ngl…
The most ive run on the 39s is 13kms fast, they are pretty comfy good for both 200m trainings and 13km trainings

@@ignacio-nr6jr Yeah pegs have so little energy return in the first place that you can kinda run in them until the outsole falls off

how are they doing?
I have the 37s and the 38s. They are great for the price.
I have some orange running shoes, can confirm you go faster
I just got the 40’s one run in and I need to eBay them, my feet hurt so much wearing them compared to others. Shame as I got them for a steal.
Damn I had a shot ready for when he says "max cushion"
Ordered the Pegasus Flyease for $70. I really hope they help me.. I'm a casual 5k runner.
The colours aren't working.......
My favorite daily
Nah bros paid to say this shoes didn’t feel good when I tried them on at the store
Same I love these shoes
Is it just me or did those shoes look pink? 😂
When you say they “still do pretty well” on your longer runs, what does that mean? I’m just curious the interpretation and what to expect of the shoe

What shoes to wear when you run outside in winter?
If you're running through snow or ice, I would say probably a trail shoe of some kind
I’ve had mine since December 22 putting in 5 mile daily 😬 might need something new
Red shoes?! 💀
I have the red too! Fasterrrrrrr
I'm in Seoul....info on the shirt?
Bro!
Please do a review on the Pegasus 41’s
Not if the air pockets pop that’s what happen to mine before I got to 100miles
Yeah, I was walking through some bushes with a pair and a thorn cut through the rubber and punctured the air bubble. I took the thorn out without thinking and the pressure of the shoe dropped, pretty much killing the shoe
I need that shirt
How do you know that they last for 400 miles when they just came out
Full rubber outsole and firm midsole guarantee you a decent 300 to 500 miles
Please tell about first copy shoes
I have Pegasus 38. It's worse than 39?

How often do you change shoes
You should change them every 300 miles.
I would say most shoes last about 500 miles+
Is it a neutral running shoe?
yes
you never want to put 300 miles on your shoes! that's being cheap or asking for injury

@@SirWavyBrown so 300 miles is asking for injury, but do 300-400 miles? what are you on about

Lol 😂400 miles? You must be cheap those shoes don’t go 400 miles if you know about running.
I run pretty competitively and they last much longer than 400 miles
cheap? you’re saying they last less? its longer if anything
Is Nike Pegasus 37 is good for long run ??
Can u give me.? Plss 😁
