I once saw a video of a guy inserting a magazine into an AR 15 and I have been in therapy ever since. I am glad UA-cam has these rules. We as viewers of UA-cam should never be allowed to think for ourselves. This is why I always vote Democrat. It is my sincere hope that someday every aspect of our lives will be controlled by the government.
It's horrible. you have an unstoppable need to shoot and that leads to more loading and then more shooting and so on. It's a vicious cycle of unrelenting fun and Americana.
I heard there was some kid who was shooting up his school but then he ran out of ammunition in his magazine I didn’t know how to reload it But then he pulled up a UA-cam video to learn how to reload his gun 😱
I’ve shot a ton of machine guns in my life. The most fun I’ve ever had was with the American 180. This is awesome. The M16 lower receiver priceless! Great video. Thanks.
Oh, man! I've burned through more than my share of ammo in several full-autos, but I have dreamed of shooting an American Arms 180 since I heard about them as a kid in the 1970s! You have my admiration ... and envy, LOL.
this is a good substitute for a 180. id probably put a vertical foregrip on mine. get a bunch of mags so you can have preloaded and just enjoy strafe plinking.
I’m so glad they made you not show dangerous things like putting a magazine in. LOL. But them allowing you to show it shoot is so much safer. 😂Sorry. I can’t keep a straight face about their restrictions. It makes no sense to me. 🤷🏼♂️
Mean while every shooter video game on youtube shows how to reload every gun imaginable that actually exist in real life. But nah nothing. ad revenue talks I guess.
UA-cam is a very left-leaning organization, just like the rest of big tech. Leftist thinking is never logical or rational. It’s not worth the effort to attempt to understand their thinking.
A single 22LR can kill but in the grand scheme of things isn't all that much of your life depended on it . A hornets nest of 22LR coming at a target in a fraction of a second with no recoil would chew up any target without body armor and would do it with little to none muzzle rise . Even if the targets wearing body armor shooting non protected areas would be feasible with that volume of firepower and no recoil.
@@louisbabycos106 That was the concept of the American 180. They claimed it had a fire rate so high that, if I remember correctly, the third round had exited the barrel before the recoil of the first had moved the weapon to any significant degree. That it's .22LR with very little recoil in the first place was not explicitly mentioned in their marketing. Another thing was that they were intending to pair the rifle with one of the first laser sights that had been developed. The pictures I saw back then had a laser sight hanging under the barrel. It looked like it was perhaps an inch wide, four inches tall and perhaps seven or eight inches long. So it was not a small thing. With the laser sight the marketing blurb said it would be the ideal weapon to work security at large public meetings, sports arenas, political gatherings and so on. The laser would make it easy to hit the intended target. The low powered .22LR would ensure there were no overpenetration, and the high fire rate would ensure you got enough bullets on the target to overwhelm them quickly. They also had some sort of demo where they shoot though concrete or cinderblocks, can't remember the details. Anyway the incredibly stable weapon meant you could keep the bullet stream hitting the same place and chew though the target. What they never addressed was the reliability issues that comes with rimfire ammunition, meaning that firing an entire magazines worth bullets isn't something you can count on...

Thanks for reposting. I'd be curious to know what their exact restrictions are, the things you blurred completely surprised me would actually violate policy.
They are anti-gun so they just make up a bunch of ridiculous rules so they can ban them. No - there is no censorship in the US - sure! The government wants to ban Tic-toc but they allow US companies to break the 1st and 2nd amendments right and left.
Thats a Gen1 AM15 made by tactical innovations. Much faster than Gen2 but less reliable. They stopped making them almost a decade ago and parts are hard to find. The feed block is what you need to update to the newer CNC manufactured one over that Gen1 you have which is hand fitted and is causing the jams. The winder you have is very old and is using the plastic cap which is why the lock doesnt work. You can send the winders in to be rebuilt to the latest design from EL Manufacturing who still make the American 180 and all drums the AM15 uses.
One of the best guns that I ever had. Also, one of the best investments! As a test I placed an early kevlar vest on a brick and concrete column that was discarded at one of the places where I was able to shoot. It was a simple front and back panel vest and within a few seconds and less than half of a magazine the rounds were chewing through the brick facing and powdering the concrete column behind it! The back of the vest panels looked like shredded fiberglass insulation! It would have been interesting to see how a ceramic Level IV vest would have responded. One with something along the lines of an AR500 insert I am sure would be quite effective as long as the rounds didn't shred any protective coating and start to be a problem due to projectile splatter for anything extending beyond the face of the plate. Again, the testing was against one of the earlier vests in the late 1980's and the results may well be different with the later generations of vest that followed. It was really the only full auto that I was interested in getting and often wish that I hadn't sold it!
About 40 years ago I made a 5 shot .22 LR machine pistol which fired 2,200 rounds per minute. To check its rate of fire , found a quiet contrey road, sped up to 50 mph, and fired directly down at the road. I came back and measured the total length of the five bullet marks. It measured two feet. I did the math, which gave me the number. This gun didn't go brrrrr, it just went zap! One time on semi auto with a full mag, I only managed four shots, but still the mag was empty. one bullet got loose because the sear didn't catch, but I didn't notice the extra shot firing.
Back in the early 80s, I knew a guy who was Class 3 dealer. He had a big pond full of snapping turtles. When their heads popped up, he'd aim about an inch down from the head and and just zip em up.😂
I'd love to have an American 180 but I don't want the hassle of owning a full auto AND I've only seen a few for sale since the early 80s and they're running from $6000 to $8000. Looks like a lot of fun to shoot
