Nice test and a good drive to be honest. The thing that repeatedly stuck out to me was the clutch control when moving off or in the reversing maneuver. It would be worth him perhaps practicing that you can actually go very slow just using clutch + gas and that you don't need to be using clutch + brake to crawl etc as that can also cause the car to stall. Moving off I guess there is a deadzone where when you pull it up before the bite and that's safe but I prefer to make sure gas already applied from when the clutch is much further down

I think he would have failed, or has a high chance of failing. I know you said that one hand on the wheel is not a serious issue as long as control is maintained, but that is not what I was taught at all. Both on my car and my HGV training (HGV is more lenient than car regarding hands on wheel). I'll just assume a middle ground and say that some examiners would follow your line of driving, and others that would take two hands on the wheel very strictly. Not worth the risk. By 7:19 I'd counted 14 times (or more) of repeated one hand on wheel driving. Auto fail and that's a shame. He's doing it, for the most part, because he's nervous. Fidgeting. I do it too and I had to train myself not to on test. After test, he can do as he pleases with hands on wheel, but that's a habit I'd try and get him to kick for his test. 'Cause his actual driving control etc.. is very good so far as I have watched :) (Will watch the rest).

Is that steering wheel too hot or something? Why's he keep switching single hands while driving? 😅
I managed to pass first time with 5 minors, was certain I'd probably failed but nope 🤗

shouldn't he stop for that lady with the kid? I don't understand when you have to stop for pedestrians and when you don't
