I passed my test with 1 minor on Thursday! Thanks so much as these videos really helped me learn so many more important things helping me learn to drive. :)
Lol Jacks like me talking too much during my lesson. The bit where he asked why a parent would cross the road at such a "dodgy" place with their child is 100 per cent something I would do and say during a lesson.
This was me in my real test yesterday not believing that I’ve finally passed 😀😂 I just want to thank you for your videos- I’ve found them incredibly helpful and they’ve really taught me what to look out for.
@@dwayner901 If he needs to turn the wheel, he can just turn it. It's easy with one hand and as for being at 70mph, at 3am on my way home I will cruise at 120mph with one hand on the wheel. It's so easy even at 120.
That was a nice drive Jack, a few minor blips that can easily be sorted out. My recommendation is 2 hands on the wheel! Good luck for your actual Test.
I passed my test this morning with 3 minors. I love your videos and will keep watching them. I learnt a lot especially how to drive on a narrow road with cars parked on the sides what always gives me nerves. I had a town centre route on the test and I was able to stay calm and focused. Thank you 💞
Jack, drive down to the very end of this road "sat nave should start from there." Good smoothed driving, awareness and observation are paramount. Being proactive of potential hazard. Well done!😄
I'm surprised you didn't say much about keeping his hands on the wheel especially when reverse parked he was crossing his arms over - the two instructors I've had absolutely lose their minds when I do this lol
When i took my test in 1972 you would fail if you drove with only one hand holding steering wheel, but times change I suppose, mind you I always drive since with one hand LOL
Passed my test in 1972, at 17 but still like watching these videos, wish my instructor had looked like her mine was a 60 year old bold bloke, Well done to everyone who pass there test
Had my second driving lesson yesterday and I’ve already done roundabouts and main roads so I’m really happy with my progress considering I’ve only had 2 hours on the road
it really is just down to luck and jack shows this. ive watched so many of these vidoes and other people could do the same things same route everything and get a serious or a fail actaully makes me want to scream!
Jack' were pretty good with the steering, driving his own car, stalling the car, he got the car going. He Thought He Had Failed! But, Aman assured Jack It wasn't a major fault! Well done Jack.
When I took my test, I thought that I had failed for stalling at some point. So from that point, I just relaxed because it was game over in my mind. I passed after ten lessons in total 😊
Hi, these videos are so useful and really help to fill my knowledge gaps. My test is on Wednesday, any tips for the lead up to the test and on the day?
Congratulations his using good mirror check but sometimes using one hand holding steering thats serious fault i did that in praticle test they give me serious fault but i passed it 3rd time
this is some nonsense. Confident drivers always drive with one hand whenever possible, and the other hand can be on the gearbox. This is an indicator of relaxation and confidence.
I was unemployed when I first learnt to drive in 2011, I got 3 free 2hr sessions as part of my birthday pressie and I managed to pay for 3 more but I had to stop because I was unemployed. 2 months went by and I figured out how to afford 1hr sessions instead of 2 whilst still being unemployed and thus took another 8 lessons so total hours of lessons was just 20hrs before my instructor said I was good enough for the test. So 20hrs all in, I didnt have any outside help from my family like Jack did. Passed with 4 minors.
I really do think instructors should tell learner drivers about where they should place their hands, crossing over, one hand on the gear stick or on their leg really is not good practice. Jack has a bad habit now heaven knows how he is going to be once he gets his licence. I hope he continues to stay safe on the road. well done.
Nice test and a good drive to be honest. The thing that repeatedly stuck out to me was the clutch control when moving off or in the reversing maneuver. It would be worth him perhaps practicing that you can actually go very slow just using clutch + gas and that you don't need to be using clutch + brake to crawl etc as that can also cause the car to stall. Moving off I guess there is a deadzone where when you pull it up before the bite and that's safe but I prefer to make sure gas already applied from when the clutch is much further down
very funny mock test and so much that went wrong for him but he kept his cool and passed well done lad have my test on in 4 days and am s****ing it lol !
I had the same thought what he said during my exam. I've made mistakes but I've solved them all. I could not merge onto the a4 because there were lorries on lane one. So I held back until it was safe to merge onto lane 1. The examinator approved it.
In the uk your guys driving looks more difficult than the US all we do is pull the gear to drive and we drive with out pressing any gears but if you need to reverse you need change gears but somtimes when your backing up from your home or parking lot and we only use 1 foot on the break or accelteration and only 2 of them buy you guys have 3 :O
These tests are much better. Not unlike in Mauritius where two hands are obligatory to be on steering wheel and the candidate should not go over 3rd gear.
I think less professional lessons have to be compromised with private lessons. I have done 22 hours lessons without private lessons. I'm ok driving on quiet roads but I don't feel completely confident on busy roads. I should get more lessons...until get confident enough...

imagine beeping a learner when they stalled, embarrassing behaviour
Isn't that normal haha? Whenever I stall I always get beeped at. Maybe that's because I'm learning in Bradford though lmao
That’s normal
Its stupid. It will only take the learner longer to restart and find the bite.
@@hazzaluffman8415no it isn’t. You’re beeping will only make them go slower because they’re stressed. Give them a couple minutes to readjust
